1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: September 19, 2018, 06:58:03 PM
Good growth today. The news has done its job, now is the time to open short positions. RSI very overheated, waiting for a drop below 4800. What do you think?

in my opinion, something very much influences the crypto-currency market. Prices seem to start rising, but something hinders them and they are released again to the previous level.
Do you see how Bitcoin affects the altcoins? At the moment I do not know where Ripple will go next. But I think it must go below 4800 satosh.

Out of all altcoins, XRP is most disconnected from BTC I think...I have feeling its destined to take #1 sooner or later
1982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: September 19, 2018, 04:23:00 PM

I think this thing wont matter kiddo

Builds a whole fucking eco system around it....pleb thinks they destroy the IOV with scammy dumping LMAO

We can't be sure what coin will banksters choose (although XRP probably have biggest chances) but one thing you're right,
these people have absolutely no idea how big are mountains of money that big players move around

my favourite part (and I hope this depicts Ripple CEO  Grin )

Možda je to bio vic?
1985  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: Airdrop..?? on: September 19, 2018, 07:17:02 AM

1986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: September 19, 2018, 07:08:59 AM
The Polo news is clearly not good, but also not so relevant any more as most of the volumes of EMC2 had already shifted to Bittrex.

More important would be to see the reason why they delisted it...should not be the low volume, as I see
many more coins with lower volume and not been delisted
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: September 19, 2018, 06:55:26 AM
Ripple is a good speculative coin. Today ripple showed very good growth and I had a hope that this project will give me a good chance to earn.
It's so good speculative coin that some people are talking about XRP being number 1 of the cryptocurrencies and that prices will be $500! Definitely if this happens, the world will be inside out and basically will kill the BTC! There are future XRP distribution programs for people and of course, people like inflation coins and still for free. It's a funny situation.

Ripple is deflation coin, you got it all wrong
1988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: September 18, 2018, 08:13:47 PM
I was wondering if there is so much online storage demand, why are people still not using crypto as a decentralized storage option. This would be the perfect thing for encrypted backup right. You still don't hear a lot about it really.

Simple answer is...its not production ready yet
1989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: September 18, 2018, 05:42:56 PM
before 01.01.2019.
1990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - 1st Stable fork of Ethereum on: September 18, 2018, 05:26:20 PM

Congrats for the newest  version of Expanse wallet.
However, I am a bit curious that whether the snapshotted image is a real one or not?
The balance in the image is very very high.
Someone who own the wallet is a real billionaire, crypto-billionaire.

Picture is real, I'm already using it...that balance is probably fake one, from testnet, not mainnet
1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest and best new coin that you never heard about! on: September 18, 2018, 07:47:46 AM
Funny, it works for me...can someone else try and tell us?

Again, show me one crypto project that has working economy model...even ETH is barely profitable for miners right now.

If forked, your Obelisks will compete with about 7000 others and based on todays prices, earn $15 per day per unit, minus electricity
1996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: September 16, 2018, 08:35:26 PM

Same number of SC is mined daily since inception...and its the same for any other mined coin...not many have working product yet,
and yes, welcome to the capitalism, where we bet with our money on future marker winners

I thought the block reward decreased by 1 until the block reward reaches 30,000 SC.
At the moment of writing this post, the block reward is 127,451 SC.
I recalled at the beginning of this year, it was 150K+ at that time.

My bad, you're right. In my defense, I'm not mining SIA myself, so just assumed its permanent
number of coins per block (unless changed by fork) like most of mineable coins on the market.

Details here:

https://forum.sia.tech/topic/161/about-siacoins-calculation-and-supply

But that makes Brad even more wrong, as theres actually deflation over time involved
1997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ESSENTIA - The Decentralised User Becomes a Reality on: September 15, 2018, 03:47:37 PM

Hey there. I would disagree that things are grim as the team has published medium entries displaying their process. In particular, they are preparing for the mainnet launch in Q4 and have released an overview of the consensus model the Essentia blockchain will adopt, a hybrid mix of both POS and POW. You can read more about it here:

https://medium.com/essentia_one/introducing-the-essentia-mainnet-chain-3241747a8045

Regarding the price of ESS, I would also invite that you to check out the Essentia traders group on Telegram to discuss the present and future price of ESS.

I agree with you, development is more important than current price.

However, I think they'll have hard competition from

https://clearfoundation.co.nz/

Those guys collected 107m USD in their ICO and have very capable
development team

Prijavimo se na ovaj Bonanza Giveaway?

Prijavio sam se, dobio obavijest da će se javiti. To je to?

Da, s tim da je trebalo krenuti još u 8 mjesecu, ali izgleda kasne zbog nečega
1999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: September 15, 2018, 06:42:26 AM
how is this project still relevant when there's projects that offer the same services as an extra, on top of other things like interoperability, cloud computing, fog, ...? I mean Sia was one of the first coins i bought but it doesnt look like theres gonna be a light at the end of the tunnel

maybe someone would answer if you'd be more specific?

Well, I was specific in an above quote. (er....than again, maybe everyone does not have a clue how this will play out either) Sad

In the case fork happens and only Obelisks remain, you'll mine 20.5 million SCs divided by the number of Obelisks. Happy?
Yes, and this is the per day number. Everyday 20M+ SCs will be mined by the Obelisk miners.
when people mined so many SC every day and the goal is to ROI asap,
I would imagine everyone will sell and the price of SC would go down like crazy.
Maybe dropping to single digit satoshi per SC
