1421  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Possible things that gives beginners problems on: March 26, 2023, 05:16:23 PM
One day I began to think of things that will deprive people's not to participate in the forum and make their posting skills irrelevant, and also cause a permanent ban,

To summarize it all, I'll say greed is the reason behind all you're trying to say in your thread. Without greed newbies won't engage in this crimes. It's because of the greediness in them that makes them want to steal someone else works to pass it as theirs so they get the accolades and probably the merits reward needed to grow their accounts. If not for the greed, they won't be spamming the forum just to meet up weekly quota for their campaign to get paid. Same thing with greed when it comes to scamming people as well as people who are satisfied with what life has given them won't result ti scamming others if the little they have as well.

To avoid all this problem, one needs to able to control his greed, we all have it in us but how will manage it will determine how successful we'll be both on the forum and off the forum. You have to put in the work if you want to grow yourself and your account. Avoid this shortcuts as they only end in regrets. If you visit the meta board, you'll see users regretting for the plagiarism they did. You can learn from their mistakes and better yourself or you pay the price when you engage in this crimes in the OP.
1422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 26, 2023, 04:37:12 PM
Having the talented players, and even the financial power of the club doesn’t not guarantee trophies. A team looking to win trophies need to have that winning mentality and determination to go against all odds to achieve their desired goal for the season. That has been the spirit of Real Madrid in all the years they got the trophies they have to their name. I think I saw the same mentality when Chelsea won the Champions league with Tuchel, the squad wasn't even star studded. To be honest I’d be scared if I was a Chelsea fan.

No, Real Madrid has been buying anybody they wanted since I have known the club, the keep spending money in the market get talents from all over the world and that's why they have been this successful not the mentality that you're talking about. We only noticed the mentality in their road to the finals last season since they perform comebacks after come backs to win the games and even though Chelsea was winning them at their own home stadium, they still performed a comeback although weren't able to win the match but they progress to the next stage if the tournament.

Chelsea can only be scared of Real Madrid when we have injuries problem. Already there are rumors of Reece James going on another injury break and might possibly miss the clash. Only news like this are what I'm afraid off and not playing Real Madrid, didn't Kante own them in both legs? Winning man of the match when he was fit. If we have all our players on fit and on form then why should we be afraid of Real Madrid. Infact they should abe scared because if we destroy their dream of another champions league title then they got nothing to fight for since Barcelona is lifting the la Liga trophy this season.
1423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why you should trade reviews of crypto YouTubers with caution on: March 26, 2023, 12:31:47 PM
And YouTubers are still paid by certain coins to promote it. As outlined in my topic, it's a conflict of interest and coins are often shilled, where no neutral information is provided (only make coin xy look more favorable) and luring viewers into buying such coins.

While this is still ongoing on YouTube I think a social platform that calls for more concerned at the moment is TikTok. You could see this shilling activities increasing on the app and while that of YouTube is properly arrange, TikTok doesn't care they just let it out there with the tending sounds and you get to see them automatically on your FYP (For you page). It's annoying because you didn't ask for this videos but because you're interested in crypto related content, they keep popping up on your FYP.

It was worst during the bull market although it has reduced now and we all know the reason why. It is because the whole market is bearish so there isn't enough spare money left for people to throw at this project they shill so it won't be profitable shilling at this time of the market. Immediately the market turns bullish again we'll begin to see this videos all over the web.
1424  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism Vs Scam on: March 26, 2023, 12:21:39 PM
In the forum I see many big scammers continue their work, their accounts only have red tags, on the other hand, I see many accounts getting banned for plagiarism.
So my question is now is the crime of plagiarism more offensive than scamming? Huh

Plagiarism: you're stealing someone else works and passing it as yours, Scamming: you're stealing someone else assets. So they're basically the same thing but just as others have said, one has to do with the forum since they have a rule against plagiarism but when it comes to scams the forum let the community to handle that, that's why it doesn't come with a ban. Plagiarism can be easily handled by the forum since it's easier to catch the defaulters but if the forum wants to tackle scams that'll be a challenge to have a rule for that since we have numerous type of scams and new ones are been invented steadily so it's safer to let the community handle that.

Also having your account ban or red tag both make your account useless so neither the scammer or plagiarist are left unpunished.
Ps: if a plagiarist gets just a red tagged, he might continue in that habit and keep benefiting from someone else hustle which defeats the whole point of the rule in the first place but with the scammer, his trick would have been exposed so people would avoid dealing with that particular account that has been marked for scamming.
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 26, 2023, 11:56:41 AM
The amount of interest in a big club to Victor Osimhen made Napoli as the owner react.
Some rumors here are for Osimhen + Spalletti to Chelsea next year, nothing confirmed yet but only voices near Napoli.

That'll be a very nice combo, I have tried searching but I can't find much new outlets to confirm this rumour although I would love for it to happen. Chelsea has suffered too much and I think we deserve some break. Although Victor Osimhen coming to Chelsea isn't much of a rumor anymore since we have seen news of Todd Boehly going to meet with Victor Osimhen but now adding   Spalletti, men that'll be fantastic. I kind of wish them to get knock out of the champions league now so Napoli doesn't have any excuse not to let go of the two of them and take the money Todd Boehly would be offering. Let watch to see how it plays out.

In other news Thomas Tuchel is looking to raid Chelsea for three transfers after Bayern Munich announcement they're Christian Pulisic, Aubameyang and Mason Mount. While this is just a rumor now, I do hope it plays out this way because this players has no place in he current squad.  I also saw rumors of him been interested in Kovačić but that's unlikely to happen because I doubt Graham Potter will let go of one of our best player currently.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 QUALIFIERS. on: March 26, 2023, 11:17:26 AM
But talking about their lost against Guinea-Bissau on Saturday, i think it was caused by tactical errors. The team they never played like a unified team and the fans were relying on the brilliance of star players to win the match which never materialised because the Guinea-Bissau team where disciplined in their defense. Another factor that led to their defeat is that it a belief that the national stadium in Abuja isn't  good ground for the Super Eagles.

I wouldn't say the Guinea-Bissau team were that discipline but the Nigerian team were poor with their crosses or passage of the ball to Victor Osimhen. I felt bad for Osimhen because of the kind of players he was playing with. Imagine leaving Napoli with their brilliant players to play with someone like Lookman, Iheanacho that were very poor on the ball, Ahmed Musa was the only one that looked like a threat when he came on, the rest were just average and Victor Osimhen can't work with average.

In the return leg, the coach better starts Ahmed Musa irrespective of his age because that players still has a lot to offer than this other guys thinking their performance won't affect their position. If I was the coach, I'll bench 90% of the players that started that game. Also don't he have another goal keepers, I think the correct one is a mess and needs to be changed with immediate effect. We have good keepers playing in the domestic league. They should go scout and call them up to the national team.
1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 26, 2023, 11:01:32 AM
I wouldn't say that Chelsea's problems this season is entirely on the manager Graham Potter but I'll say it is majorly his style of football that has kept Chelsea where they are this season because he's not outrightly convinced us that he can manage big club like Chelsea with those boring and unexciting style of football. The new Chelsea owner got it all wrong in sacking Thomas Tuchel because of the poor results at the beginning of the season. Chelsea would have been better in better position by now if he was still the coach.

We could have been in a better position but probably out of the champions league, as a fan I'll choose what we have now over the earlier assumption. Thomas Tuchel was flopping at Chelsea, we were losing finals that are winnable and he was stubborn with his style of play. He kept in okay I'm the same players even when they weren't delivering goals. He neglected youth players and brought in dead wood like Aubameyang. We didn't have it wrong sacking Thomas Tuchel but maybe hiring Graham Potter was when we got everything wrong.

Chelsea is too big for Graham Potter and he's beginning to regret leaving Brighton for Chelsea. I don't think Graham Potter style of play is boring but he's yet to get his strategy right since the players are yet to adopt to his style of play because of the constant rotation of players. Graham Potter should have his fix starting eleven then work with them to establish his style of play before rotating the players in every game. Sure some players will be angry for not getting playing time but that's a scarify he has to be ready to make to get things working at the club or he'll be sacked soon.
1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 26, 2023, 10:51:10 AM
Chelsea Potter era is very low in quality compared to when trained by Tuchel. I am still pessimistic about Chelsea's current performance who will face Real Madrid. The Chelsea versus Dortmund match is a different match, the quality of the two is almost the same so the victory of the Blues over the German representative is not something extraordinary.

All teams that have progressed to the quarter finals of the champions league are capable of winning the title, they basically just have to play only 5 games more to lift the trophy which is the two legs in quarter and semi finals then the finals. You can't tell me Chelsea doesn't have quality players in their squad, what you could say is we lack the experience which is very true because even our coach hasn't won a champion league before but so was Thomas Tuchel when he came to Chelsea.

We have the players who are worthy of been called champions of Europe. We already have previous champions in the squad and the additional forces we have are quite capable of defeating Real Madrid. Real Madrid aren't even upto the form they were when the lifted the trophy last season. We just have to take this first leg very serious and since Real Madrid will be at home, they'll be under more pressure to win so we can take advantage of that and counter attack them while they press us even though that's not their style but I feel they'll want to have more of the ball to dominate since they're playing at home.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: March 26, 2023, 10:41:26 AM
What risk does Messi take if he plays in the Arab League? I see no risks to play in Saudi Pro League. Messi even can get a bigger salary and he can give a big contribution to Saudi Pro League. In the future, people will always remember that Messi ever contributes to making Arab league bigger. His name will be in Saudi Pro League history forever.

Messi won't have any impact on the Saudi Arabia league, the only thing that can make him relevant is because Ronaldo will be playing there so there'll always be comparisons between them and that could trigger him to play better just as it did when both of them were playing in La Liga. Messi is a fraud when he doesn't have the whole team playing for him. Aren't people realizing that Messi career in PSG is a flop. Now if he moves from PSG to Saudi Arabia league that'll even be worse because he'll have to be carrying the whole team which is something Messi isn't capable of doing that's why it'll be a risk for Messi to move. He should have retired in Barcelona where he's been worshipped.

Ronaldo on the other hand has proven himself in whatever league he goes to which is why his move to Saudi Arabia is looking promising to him. All he just need it assist and he'll deliver goals for the team. Just as Messi is struggling at PSG, he'll also struggle in Saudi professional league. He better not come unless they're ready to bribe the referee here as they did for him at Barcelona and Argentina so he get easy calls that favors his team to win games.

Due to the recent hiccups experienced by bank customers and their inability to use mobile apps and other digital touchpoints, Nigerians have begun the search for alternatives as fintech firms have taken over the ecosystem and provided better experiences. These licensed mobile operators have provided relief to many Nigerians at the time of unprecedented transaction failures.

The mobile money operators offer incentives such as zero transfer charges and daily rewards to customers. Many customers on these platforms are concerned about the legality of the platforms and wonder if they are authorised or licensed to operate in Nigeria. The worries have prompted the apex bank to draw up a list of authorised operators in the financial ecosystem

Still on the PoS matter; "Over 80 Point of Sales (PoS) vendors in Akure, the Ondo State capital, have been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly buying and selling money to individuals with higher interest. you fit find the story here; https://thenationonlineng.net/efcc-arrests-80-pos-vendors-in-ondo/". Shall how una see the development, e good as EFCC dey go after this POS businesses or you dey feel say na another misplaced priority?

In summary, your title doesn't affect your mind. You may have a very good title and have a poor information inside of it. As a writer always try your best for the words to be comprehensible and meaningful by people, I think that's all.

It actually does, topic titles are as important as the body of the posts but many people take that for granted and that's why some posts don't get the attention they deserve. Except you're a well known quality contributor to the forum that people are naturally attracted to reading your started topics, the way you write the titles of your topic could attract readers or chase them away. There are ways annoying trolls and spammers structure their post title that people naturally avoid those kind or topics therefore if you write in such way you'll be avoided as well.

When your topic is filled with generic meaning it chase away users that don't tend to associate with such threads. And example is when you see a topic like 'Is Bitcoin the future of money'. Immediately you should know that such thread will be filled with people just saying anything to complete post quota and could be classified as a topic that attract spammers. Naturally I won't engage in such thread and many here won't do the same. You should note that we're in a generation where first impression really matters as you can lose your audience within the first 3-10 seconds they interact with your content.
1433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips To Make Quality Posts In This Forum As A Beginner on: March 25, 2023, 08:36:05 PM
3. Try To Catch Scammers and Bounty Cheaters: If you make yourself expert about catching scammers and bounty Cheaters you may get attention from the higher rankers and may grow up yourself in this forum too fast. This is a very tricky way and also very contributive.

I won't classify this as a form of quality post instead a genuine act that helps keep the form clean/safe so it doesn't fit into tips for quality posts. Infact there isn't no tip for quality post since there's no standard outline by the forum administrative for we the members to follow and that's because theymos knows quality is subjective. Quality shoudn't be limited to this or any tips. We have people from different geographical location and educational background on the forum therefore there shoudn't be a standard for quality since what might seem quality to you mightn't be to me.

For newbies readying this, just be yourself. Keep writing how you do provided you aren't spamming, you don't have to change you style to suit anybody. This is a open forum and all knowledge are welcomed here. Don't be in a rush to rank up, take your time and enjoy the journey. Practice makes perfect and for members who are consistent, you would be rewarded at the end. Be consistent with what you're doing that's adding value to the forum.
1434  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How to stop low quality posts, existing topics & improve our merit award system. on: March 25, 2023, 08:12:46 PM
Having topics like this is one of the problems that we have on this board. What's the usefulness of this thread, if you want to discuss about the monthly reward, you can do that in the monthly chart thread, you don't need a new topics for that. Next you should know the monthly merit reward isn't a community project for you to think the organizers have to adjust to how you feel it should be ran. If we see it isn't getting productive, we end it at anytime. It's a personal project and if you want to discuss that go to the monthly chart thread not creating a new topic for that, that's just nonsense.

Next we have discussed about the multiple similar thread creation and spams numerously so what's the use of bringing that up again, isn't that exactly what you're speaking against so what difference is your post from those creating similar or related threads? You can see we didn't get much election related topic as we did last month and that's because we created a thread to combat that. Instead of complaining always, do something to help the boards. You can reports the topics each time you see them and stop commenting on them too.
1435  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The Role of Currency Spectators In Currency Value Case Study of 9ja ₦ vs $ on: March 25, 2023, 07:55:46 PM
So this is why CBN banned cryptocurrency transaction with banks. But they should know that this plan is likely not going to work , one of the ways in which Naira can get some value is that if we can be using naira to make international payments especially in cryptocurrency without converting to dollars at first. I don't know good is  my suggestion and if is the CBN that will grant access in using naira to make international payments without converting to dollars

I don't understand how you want Naira to be used for international transaction when those transaction are international. Like how will you be paying for services that are in Us with Naira. That can only be possible if they have their branches in Nigeria then they can work on how to get the service with our local currencies just as we pay for DStv with our naira because they have established themselves in Nigeria. Even when deals are been carried out by international Bodies they use the dollars or other world recognized currencies.

We giving the Naira value has to start locally, this cashless policy would had gone a long way in enforcing that value couple with some economy policies adjustment that'll look appealing to foreign investors but no the government still dey sabotage themselves. CBN banning currencies has alot to do with the currency speculators, even now you can see that crypto dollars is higher than the normal dollars and all this does have it's effect on on the general market. Naturally people will tend to what to trade in crypto so they can get more Naira for their dollars, it's just dat simple.

I see say many people don Dey ember the aparthy thing but I will say make we no give up. Even as INEC bin just Dey do anyhow I see positive changes this year. People bin come out to vote and then no just vote party na candidate.

Why we dey deceive ourselves, na only presidential campaign wey people vote individual wey be Peter Obi, the rest na party wey people vote, even where Labour party win as in positions no body sabi those wey dey there na just say dem be Labour party members so people begin vote them. Oya make we look Otti wey win for Abia state as governor under Labour party, that man was a APC member just few months back wey he last year but as him move go Labour party na so him begin gather followers and many people wey vite am just do so to pay back as dem wan both APC and PDP to commot for their state.

Typical no major new politicians was produced in this election which means we just recycle the old fools no matter the party then dey and we dey think say them go do better. The only politicians wey I know wey new na those labour party candidates wey win for north wey dem be nobody (dat story been trend for twitter wey him be taxi driver abi wetin self, I dun forget). Among everybody wey we vote for fir this election, abeg who be the youths abi we dun forget say na youthful leaders we been dey fight for.

1438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 25, 2023, 09:50:31 AM
Chelsea are going to host Aston Villa this time. They haven't had a reliable performance during the most of the season. This has just brought them to the middle of the standings I'm afraid. From now on there is no way they are qualifying for the Champions League. They will just try to finish at the best position they can. It wouldn't still be any success for them but still it is better than now.
I can't rely on Chelsea's performance now. They aren't consistent even though they are favoured against Aston Villa. They are vulnerable in defense as well. Therefore I might go for both teams to score.

Both team to score but Chelsea wins and as for the position we'll be finishing at this season, I think the UEFA Europa League is fine. The last two times we played in the competition, we lifted the trophies and the last time we did that while going unbeatable in the whole duration of the competition. I think Chelsea needs some break. I don't understand why everyone is expecting us to be at our very best. We just lost a owner, got our previous coach sacked and bought almost a complete new team with our signings. We need them to adjust and understand themselves. I won't feel bad if we get the UEFA Europa League spots this season and I believe that's achievable.

Let use next season to win some minor trophies while we build ourselves for the main competition and get it done next two seasons. I think if Graham Potter can win some trophies no matter how minor they're, the fans would give him more time and for him to achieve that he has to be winning games which he isn't doing and that's why the fans are angry with him. It's okay to lose some 50/50 games but those which we're favorite to win like the Aston villa game should be won with a dominating performance to give the fans some hope.
1439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 QUALIFIERS. on: March 25, 2023, 09:27:27 AM
Could it be true that a stadium has anything to do with the Nigerian team's success, especially on their home soil? It is also believed that homegrown coaches are not capable of winning on the big stage. Is there a difference between countries using indigenous coaches in foreign countries and countries that use foreign coaches.

The stadium doesn't have anything to do with our failure at that particular stadium whenever we play there, there's no backstory to anything that happened there that we should be concerned about.  I think we underestimate any nation that comes to play us in that stadium because we believe they're inferior and that backfires everytime. Guinea-Bissau are no match for the Super eagles so I'm surprised they get a win but that's football. The Super eagles needs to stop underestimating teams or they'll keep losing. We need to play every team like we're playing the likes of Algeria, senegal etc we need the full squad to destroy this nation so they become scared of playing Nigeria.

As for the coaches situation, I'm not a fan of foreign coaches, other nations that are doing well in world football rely on their homegrown coaches because they can understand the players correctly. Nigerian speaks more of pidgin language and I doubt any foreign coach can relate with the players in this form but that'll be an advantage for the homegrown coaches. Senegal has a homegrown coach and he's doing well for them. We have lots of homegrown coaches but they lack experience and that's because we haven't given them a chance to gain the experience. At the last AFCON our home grown coach took us to the knockout stage by winning all our matches and that's something a foreign coach hasn't been able to do but what did we do, we sacked him because he failed to qualify us instead of us giving him time to work with the team.
1440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 25, 2023, 09:09:08 AM
Absolutely true. Chelsea's season is not this one. This season, the club has experienced a great number of events (change of coach, new signings of players, new club owner, and management). Chelsea won't be able to stand on their own for a while till the end of this season. By the next season, the Chelsea squad should start to benefit from Potter's adopted strategies.
The champions league and premier league top spots are beyond Chelsea's reach. Because of the extensive champions league experience that  Real Madrid's players and coach have gotten from past champions league games, Real will win against Chelsea

Football isn't always about who has more experience or the better team. Most times it take who wants it more to win a game. If Real Madrid didn't win this trophy for this season, they can always win the next as they're favorite every season but Chelsea mightn't have a chance next season since their spot isn't guaranteed yet because we're far away from the top four spot but achieving that isn't impossible either as you can never tell what the international breaks might do to players when they come back. I hear people saying that since the current coach of Real Madrid was a former Chelsea coach that he knows Chelsea's style of play..

Please which style of play are they talking about because Chelsea changes playing pattern for most of their coaches and the players Carlo Ancelotti coach isn't the same as the ones Graham Potter is coaching. I can't wait to see the looks on people faces when Chelsea advance to the semi finals then they can start believing Chelsea could possibly win the Champions League this season. As a fan I'm even more scared of Bayern Munich then Real Madrid and then we have our former coach Thomas Tuchel taking charge of Bayern Munich, I can't wait for Chelsea to play him.
