It looks like for now Chelsea fans are genuinely relieved after Potter's dismissal. he showed nothing during his tenure and only made Chelsea worse. Hopefully this will also be a lesson for Todd not to be too hasty when dismissing a great coach like Tuchel.
We're definitely relieved, this has been our worst season in the premier league for the last 20+ years, Graham Potter turned us into a team anybody can come to get points off us both home and away. We didn't have any respect in teb eyes of any team. I hate it when English coaches rush to take role that they should clearly know are bigger then a them. Just like Lampard, Graham Potter should now be regretting taking the coaching role at Chelsea. This English coaches need to go get their coaching skills well developed. Chelsea just exposed Graham Potter as an average coach and all the success he had at Brighton was just because the players were good as they're doing very well even after he left the club. He should go take so vacation to enjoy his money because he has successfully scammed Chelsea of a lot of money. When he gets back then he should go take more classes on coaching. |

It becomes even more interesting in the Premier League as Nagelsmann's fortunes are not idle for a short time. I am very much in favor of going to Chelsea and it has to happen for better improvement. It's like a coach swap where Tuchel occupied Bayern Munich and Nagelsmann occupied Chelsea.
With Nagelsmann at Chelsea, I think it would be ideal, he is a competent coach and able to bring aggressive play. Graham Potter was branded as a failed coach, he really wasn't fit to lead a club as big as Chelsea.
I think this is the happiest I have been since the start of the season and nobody should call this a sad news instead we should be celebrating as we now could possibly be winning something this season which is the champions league. With Graham Potter in charge of Chelsea I believe somehow we could pull a miracle but with him gone and someone else coming, we're definitely be defeating Real Madrid in the upcoming matches and imagine Julian Nagelsmann been appointed as the new coach of Chelsea and we then get to play Thomas Tuchel Bayern Munich in the champions league semi finals, that's would be fun to watch. Graham Potter time at Chelsea was disastrous and I'm surprised it was not cut short a long time ago. I just hope this sacking isn't coming too late. Why give him so much long time if the management knew they won't keep him to the end of the season. I hope the appointment of a new coach comes quick so we can start preparing for our next games (atleast the new manager get to train with the teams for some days). They should follow the full steps of Bayern Munich that hire a new coach immediately they sacked their previous coach. |

This is exactly what I'm saying, lets forget the position of each club in their local league and check their performance overall. In the last 5 matches both Real Madrid and Chelsea has been on the same form. Both clubs has won three games and lost one each and a draw too. This means both clubs are currently on the same form. When you also come to the champion league, both clubyhasba history if doing well although Real Madrid has the advantage as they have more experience and success at the club although that doesn't mean Chelsea doesn't have a history of their own. Chelsea are one of the best sides from the premier league representing on the big stage (champions league) and they have done so quiet successful winning two trophy in the last 10years so Chelsea does have their own history with the champions league and in the years we didn't win, we have gotten some great memories and this year won't be the any different. One more good news, Graham Potter has been sacked as the coach of the club which means we'll be getting a new blood and we could use that to our advantage when we face Real Madrid. Saturday's transfer gossip:
Chelsea have emerged as major contenders to sign Napoli's Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, 24, this summer.
Chelsea are also set to make a bid for Barcelona and Spain left-back Alejandro Balde, 19, to replace England defender Ben Chilwell, 26.
Bayern Munich are interested in signing Chelsea's Kai Havertz, 23, with the Germany forward previously expressing interest in being reunited with his former manager Thomas Tuchel. Chelsea will obviously have a very turbulent transfer season in the coming days and months as a lot of players leave and a lot of new players arrive. What kind of team will Chelsea have next season and will they be competitive and fight for trophies next season?
Definitely a better team and we'll structured one for that matter, that's the team Chelsea will be having next season, we have the likes of Nkunku coming and if we succeed to add Victor Osimhen then the last piece of the puzzle has been found. With all the squad at Chelsea at the moment with an addition of this players and their quality, we'll definitely be competing for the title next season although that can't be achieved if we're still sticking with Graham Potter but I believe Todd Boehly won't be that stupidity to keep him even though miraculously he wins us the champions league. Still on Chelsea gossip, I heard Mason Mount has finally come to an agreement with Chelsea that means he's staying at the club. I can't confirm this rumour to be true but I doubt it to be true because from the way Mason Mount was applauding the Chelsea supporters even after the lost to Aston villa without him playing any minute of the game, I feel that's goodbye right there. The chance of Mason Mount leaving Chelsea keep increasing daily and at this point I think there's no turning back for him. |

Graham Potter will not be fired if his team loses to Real Madrid in the Champions League. He has done worse in the past and been given more time and grace to improve the team and overcome their mistakes and difficulties. Even if he loses to Real Madrid, I don't see him being fired; perhaps he'll have to wait until the end of the season for the team to decide his fate with them. Let's just say that this will be a tough match between these two teams in the Champions League.
What worse has he done? What's is worse than getting knockout in the biggest competition in club football. The worst you're talking about are just him (the club) having a bad run that he covered up by winning Dortmund to qualify for the quarter finals. This season we already knew there was nothing to fight for in the league and kept our hopes in cup competition which we're out of all we participated in and just left with the champions league so I think him losing against Real Madrid would be very brutal for his career. I miss the old days of Roman Abramovich been incharge, assuming he was still in charge and Graham Potter loses to Real Madrid, he would be given the sack letter immediately. Nevertheless, I don't think Graham Potter will be sacked (although that's every Chelsea fan wish at this point) and that's because we aren't losing to Real Madrid, the worst we can get is a draw, we'll draw at their home and win in ours. Playing Real Madrid as an underdog is were we'll be having the advantages, they'll be underrating us as usual and we'll surprised them. Don't use our recent bad form to judge this game. This is the champions league and not the premier league. We might be performing badly in the premier league but things get different when we sing that champions league anthem. |

Chelsea's fans tend to be let down more and more as time goes by as they expect Chelsea to perform better. I expected that Chelsea will opt to perform significantly better than before following this international break. After having such a strong feeling that they would defeat Newcastle, it is rather sad that they were unable to score even one goal at home.
By the end of the Premier League, I don't believe Chelsea will be in contention for either the Europa League or the Europa Conference Cup. They will remain in the position of 10th-12th to the end of the premier league
That will be quite sad as it'll be our biggest flop in the premier league for the last 20years. Graham Potter is just spoiling everything Todd Boehly is trying to build. You can see that the fault isn't from the club owners. They're constantly spending to give the team the best treatment yet this is how Graham Potter leads his boys to payback Todd Boehly. I feel bad for him because he'll be regretting signing Graham Potter as it stands. Today game was a disaster, Chelsea had so many chances that they could have scored 3 or more goals in the first half but they didn't take their chances. Aston villa weren't playing that good that you'll say they outplayed Chelsea, they just took their chances and that's something Chelsea couldn't do and I think it all leads back to the manager because what exactly is he teaching the players during training. A not so fit Kante returned from injury and was the still the best man on the field of play in the little time he was brought into the game. I don't think Graham Potter knows what he's doing at this point and I now strongly stand behind his sacking campaign with immediate effect, he has brought disgrace to Chelsea FC. |
