2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 23, 2022, 12:57:26 AM
Since I only do small betting, less than $200, I barely leave any money on my casino account. I will always spent all my balance on one or two bets, (I mostly do sports betting), and when I win, I immediately withdraw all those money. To safe some money for transaction fee when I do a deposit I use either LTC or Doge, I never send BTC or ETH the fee are too expensive.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 23, 2022, 12:44:33 AM
It's too much to expect Chelsea to win the Champions League trophy this season, because as you said either keeping Tuchel or changing him
to Graham Potter, it will not make Chelsea win the Champions League trophy. Of course for most people as a big joke if Todd Boehly wants Chelsea
to win the Champions League trophy. With the current Chelsea squad it is very difficult to compete with Man City and Real Madrid. We have to
understand that Todd Boehly has ambitions to make Chelsea win the Champions League trophy this season. Because Todd Boehly is not experienced
in European football, he doesn't understand how difficult it is to be the best European team. In fact, if Chelsea finally entered the top 4 in
the Premier League and qualified from the Champions League group stage, it would have been something very good this season for Chelsea.

I agree that winning the champions league shouldn't be the target for Chelsea, hell even if they can pass the group stage Todd Boehly should just give Potter a raise. But finishing Top 4 at the end of Premiere League this season will not be that hard for Chelsea, they only need to compete with underperforming Liverpool, inconsistent Man Utd and Tottenham, so it's still very possible to Chelsea to get back to Champions League. But I totally agree that getting Champions League trophy this season is impossible
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what you think of this altcoin for 2025 on: September 20, 2022, 02:16:06 AM
Ziliqa is dApps project, and I think it will still be relevant in the next several years, it just need to be consistent to compete with the competition like Ethereum and EOS. Their native metaverse project Metapolis also slowly growth, though I don't think metaverse will be a good thing in long term, but at least they have working project to drive investors. For me myself, I am planning to buy small amount of ZIL when I see the market is in good shape, but not right now.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is always one step behind the competition on: September 20, 2022, 02:06:53 AM
Ethereum is big, both the community and company scale, so the decision to finally move to PoS will not be as easy as other smaller project. And the reasons why ETH is still preferred by most people is because it's the first, it already built it's reputation. I don't think this issue is a big problem for ETH as long as they do the things better than the competitors.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's time for staking on: September 20, 2022, 01:59:37 AM
Famz is there anyway someone can early month staking a altcoin? I don't want the yearly ones APY right? I want monthly and also I will like or prefer to stake BTC or USDT or any top altcoins like XRP or BNB just to be on the safer side, the year we are in a bear market but I am in for the long term so I really don't care about market situation.

I don't think Binance give you calculation to stake monthly, they wills till offer you the APY but you have the freedom to take out your staking any time you want. And my advice it will be better if you also care about the market situation, if you do staking in the peak of the price, then you will only get loss your investment value even if you get the yield of your coin.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH might be classified as a security after switching to POS on: September 20, 2022, 01:40:03 AM
SEC chairman Gary Gensler hinted the possibility of classifying all PoS cryptocurrencies as a security. ETH would be not be exempt from this, after switching to the PoS consensus algorithm. With centralization issues mounting on the ETH blockchain, I wouldn't be surprised if exchanges (mainly Coinbase and Kraken) would be required to comply with securities laws in order to provide staking services to their customers. This could also affect Vitalik Buterin (ETH's founder), especially when the project held an ICO in its early days. For what I know, all options are on the table. But rest assured that if the SEC takes action against ETH, it'll be the end of a decentralized web as we know it. Maybe ETC will take over if ETH fails?

What do you think about this? Will the SEC be able to successfully classify ETH as a security? If not, why? If securities laws are enforced, will that make ETH more centralized? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

This is what SEC have been trying to do for so long and with this consensus change into PoS it will become more reasons for SEC to finally impose ETH into security. However, SEC will still need sometimes to finally make the decision, the problem if SEC does not classify ETH as security then it will deny it's own decision that said XRP is a security, and it will not be good image for them.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" platforms be subject to KYC/AML laws in the future? on: September 19, 2022, 05:44:36 AM
I think it finally will, the Regulators will have the same concern to De-Fi just like any other blockchain usage, which is money laundering, and I am sorry to say but if KYC is not required De-Fi will be the easiest way to launder money for bad people. Even though after that there will be some people who sell ID illegally to deceive this KYC requirement.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Testnet hunters on here? on: September 19, 2022, 05:40:31 AM
Actually I have never know or heard that you can earn a good amount of money from test net, I thought that they only give you their worthless token, and hope that in the future the token will have some value, and most of project that actually good only hire professional tester who also need to understand how to code and make program.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choices: Gamble or Help the poor ? on: September 19, 2022, 05:36:36 AM
I think if you ask it in the forum like this, most of people will say that they will give the money to the poor, though I think most people will actually do that, but there will be some people that still choose to gamble over the charity, but saying they prefer otherwise. If you want to get real data, better do the survey anonymously. I myself can say that I would prefer to give money to the poor, but in reality, maybe for some reasons I will choose to gamble, maybe I don't like the people because they have bad attitude, or they are someone I know that have done a bad thing to me.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 19, 2022, 05:12:48 AM
Arsenal's victory has earned him the points back. and now arsenal are back at the top of the standings. but indeed the next match arsenal will be against tottenham. and the match I think will be a difficult match to predict. because both teams have shown good quality this season. even though arsenal has won more matches. but it's tottenham now that really needs to be taken into account. because so far tottenham has never lost this season.

I am more on the Tottenham side on this one, Arsenal tend to slip when they are facing one of the big teams, and London derby is never an easy match. However, I will not be surprise if the match is end on draw, the tension in derby match is much more high, so I think both team will playing more defensive, I just wish the match is not too boring.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETC to $100 soon? on: September 18, 2022, 01:38:46 PM
Yeah I think that's make sense, most miners will migrate from ETH to ETC, but in term of popularity among developers and investors, ETC is not that good of a coin, if a developer wouldn't mind with the Ethereum move to PoS and most of the investors wouldn't mind too since thought that people still use Ethereum smart contract, maybe some investors that think Ethereum PoS will be less decentralized but I guess the amount is not very significant. So, miners only will not give much effect to the ETC price.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hacker Steals Bill Murray’s Crypto Charity - (should have used a smart contract) on: September 18, 2022, 01:31:35 PM
Now that Ethereum is suppose to get cheaper to use, will people instead of maybe giving a few people a copy of your key, they instead get a vote in a smart contract that authorizes funds to be sent?

Ethereum foundation themselves said that merge wont be helping with gas prices. But even with ignoring that smart contract could be a good solution for something like this. But rom my experience, most of the holders don't vote like EVER. And you really can't trust masses on doing the right thing because majority of people are stupid and greedy. When ever they get a change they would distribute it amongst themselves.

Aren't the migration from PoW to PoS supposed to make the Ethereum blockchain to scale better, and with that better scaling I think it will affect the gas fee because then the Ethereum blockchain will be processing more and faster transaction. At least that's what I understand, so maybe not directly but it will still affect the gas fee.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you being secretive about your gambling activity? on: September 18, 2022, 01:22:23 PM
I am not hiding my gambling activity, but I didn't fully honest about how much I spend and earn from my gambling, it's not much of money though, only less than 5% of my family monthly spending but still, and to be honest I lost a lot more than I earn. My family might actually don't have any problem with that, but I am just not comfortable to share my loss.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 18, 2022, 01:19:01 PM
Ajax are one of the regular teams in the Champions League and even though they are currently missing some of their core players from last season such as Antony, Haller and Martinez but in any case they are still strong at the moment.
Napoli did well in these 2 matches but I am actually quite skeptical they will qualify because I think they will only return to the Europa League at the end considering the performance when looking back on last season which is difficult to predict, it is not impossible now it will be like that .

On the contrary I think, compared to both Liverpool and Ajax, Napoli's performance has been the most solid and consistent in this champions league. They won all their two matches, not to mention the big win 4-1 against Liverpool, even though Liverpool is not at its prime, but still 4-1 is a big win. I am not saying that Ajax do not stand a chance but I am on Napoli's side on this match.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just went short on LUNC on: September 17, 2022, 01:30:04 PM
Just be prepared to get out and take profit quickly, no one knows when the coin will be pumped again. Putting money a coin like LUNC is more like a gambling rather than investment, your prediction with any technical or fundamental analysis will not matter, people knows the price had been manipulated in the past and it might be manipulated again in the future.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana a good investment in this 2022? on: September 17, 2022, 01:27:08 PM
If the question was "is it still good?" then the answer is yes, for right now, they still in the top 10 marketcap, and the development and growth of the project itself is still decent. But then again, some issue has been raised in the solana platform, and if it keeps happening then people could lose their trust. Afterall, it's your money, so you should put more time and effort to do your own research, all replies in this thread is just small insight.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should u mine right now? on: September 17, 2022, 01:20:18 PM
Bitcoin is still the safest coin to mine, but if you want a great profit, you might need to dig deeper to the smaller marketcap coin, something like zCash or Ravencoin, I think those will give you more profit if the price is going up, since not so many people mining it so you can still get more percentage of the coins, compared to BTC, and you don't need expensive equipment to mine it too. All that being said I prefer the middle-ground something like Monero.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin becomes second largest PoW cryptocurrency on: September 17, 2022, 01:06:05 PM
I don't think it will make any effect on Doge price, moreover it's not that Doge gain the position it's kind a give away from other crypto, they start to leave the PoW and now Doge just claiming those dumped throne. Even if in the future Bitcoin joining the PoS side and Doge finally become the number #1 PoW, it still means nothing.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 17, 2022, 12:50:05 PM
Their weakest link is Kuku, no doubt. The dude's trying to emulate Ammar's offlane heroes by trying to transition as a carry and hog one side of the map for his farm. Even then, his farm is still slow and his item choice is not impactful all throughout the game. That game 1 Viper he has had a lot of space, even more space than ana, and still end up not doing anything against the aggression of Talon. Game 2 he may have done something against 23savage but his poor shot calling ended up in Talon slowly but surely taking the upper hand. They better get this sorted out else they will not qualify to TI at all Cheesy

The weakest link is not Kuku himself, but it's the hero pick, I don't know who decide the hero pick, but most of the time Kuku use a low-impact hero, like Venomancer and Viper, though both are great hero to win the lane, but then it's expect both the carries to snowballing, winning the lane, winning the mid game, and end the game fast, and it put so much burden for both Ana and Topson. They might be a very good player but to dominate all games everytime is kind a hard.
