521  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info/com questions on: April 22, 2023, 02:25:05 PM
With stuff like this I always think they make it as hard as possible for people to get out their old bitcoin holdings, so they can at some point take those holdings for themselves. Is this here the case, or is it not possible for the owner to access the funds?
Not really there is an option to extract your private keys in their dashboard so you can transfer your funds to other wallets, I have done that many times, but unfortunately many blockchain users do not know this, on all the wallets where you keep your funds be sure that you know where to access the private key and always keep your private keys but most of all do not keep your wallet in centralized exchange or custodial wallet, do not trust these two to keep your funds.
522  Other / Meta / Re: How to add your Bitcointalk profile to your homescreen on: April 22, 2023, 07:47:44 AM

There are important reasons why it is beneficial to add the bitcointalk icon to the homescrewn of your mobile phone or laptop;
  • One of the reasons is that it will enable people know that you are into bitcointalk and they will respect you in your environment.
Do I also get the same respect if I made Facebook or Twitter in my Phone Home screen

Quote
  • Another reason is that seeing the icon on your mobile home screen will always remind you that you are a member of BTT. You know because of stress at work, you may forget that you belong here and make posts
If you are in a campaign or you have posted that you need answers you will not forget even if you have too many drinks on the way home, or you will excuse dating your GF just to get home, I don't need a phone to remind me every time I get home there is a need to open my pc and when I open my pc there is a need to open Bitcointalk and when I log in to Bitcointalk there is a need to post that's what you call habit

Quote
  • Having the icon on your home screen will enable you check frequently if theymos has taken down the forum as he threatened
.
I have a whole day of anxiety if I have that as one of my reason

523  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin permanently suspended my account and withholding my $$$ on: April 22, 2023, 06:54:44 AM
Upon further research I have found that the 2 main licensees in Curacao are Curacao Antillephone NV 8048/JAZ and Curacao e-gaming NV 1668/JAZ. Neither of which Betcoin is licensed under. They are licensed under Gaming Curacao NV 365/JAZ (although they label it Curacao eGaming on their website). I have read that this licensee only cares about the Casino License fees and allows them to operate as they please. So it seems as though it may be impossible to get any sort of ethical help on my situation.

You are welcome to dispute this decision on a third-party mediator or their licensor they have already done this to one of their cases, if you think you are innocent you can do this action, but if you don't want to bother anymore then give them your Bitcoin address so they can send your deposit back, other casinos will confiscate your winnings but they don't want to become mean to players so they prefer to give the deposit amount, so it's your choice now.

Alternatively, you are welcome to contact a third party mediator or our
licensor, to dispute this, and we will abide by their decisions.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you agree with ChatGPT on the club that might win the premier League? on: April 21, 2023, 11:11:00 PM

So what are your thoughts on this, do you agree with ChatGPT or not??

Since we have concluded in previous posts that the result given by the AI contradicts the real scenario we can say that the AI can only give results based on provided data but when it comes to real-time situations like when 2 top players from a favorite team get injured the AI will not consider as it is not yet entered in their database unless the programmer or the AI cache the real-time situation in their database.

Humans by far are best at analyzing in real-time situations, something these AI do not have.
525  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 21, 2023, 04:09:24 PM
Gambling is when you're losing and winning money, you cannot consider a platform a gambling platform without these two elements, but it's a good site to check how good you are in predicting the games on that platform, if you're a newbie you can start on this site to prepare yourself in predicting the outcomes of the game.
Casinos have this in the form of free spins, and before you can bet it's better to try it on something where you can feel how the game is being played and how can you time your betting or employ a method that you learned or developed.
526  Economy / Services / Re: I sell videos from a third world country; I receive BITCOIN on: April 21, 2023, 12:40:49 AM

My country is so third world that coffee is sold on the street, a cart and what to sell its price is from 0.1 to 0.2 usd...I have more data and videos

Have you thought of uploading it on Youtube and monetizing it, what guarantee that the videos you're selling are not already uploaded on Youtube, you should at least give us a screenshot or a short video of the video you're selling a lot of information are missing like the length of these videos, and do all these videos have contents that violate Youtube's TOS in case the buyer will upload it on Youtube?
People are creating and buying videos to monetize, so you are selling to potential vloggers.
527  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Who is Bitcoin.org on: April 20, 2023, 03:58:43 PM
I just received a phone call from someone in Scotland claiming to be with Bitcoin.org.  What is Bitcoin.org and what is its purpose?
bitcoin.org is a legitimate site with the aim of providing knowledge about Bitcoin for those of us who visit.
If someone calls and claims to work at bitcoin.org, then it is important that you do not directly believe anything that he wants.
It could just be a mode to deceive you.
It really is an attempt to scam OP, it's his choice to become a willing victim or do research, and because he posted it here that could mean he is suspicious of the call and just by checking Bitcoin.org he'll know that it has nothing to do with any trading platform.

OP should post the complete conversation if possible post the number here to expose the scammer so people will be warned of their scheme.
528  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: project: Bdignawla on: April 16, 2023, 12:18:04 PM
need help with a blockchain based project , putting together a team... if you can figure out the puzzle in this post and message me the answer , you can join in on the project. intellectuals only  ~~~themaninthehat

So that's it you mean I just message you the answer from a puzzle in this post and I'll be one of the team, in the first place where is the puzzle, this is the ridiculous way to recruit members.
I have not seen someone recruiting this way, you should at least give requirements and qualifications what if none of those who send you the answers are developers will you still continue to build that so-called blockchain-based project?
529  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New website. Looking for feedback on: April 15, 2023, 11:19:50 PM
I started this new website. Looking for thoughts and opinions. Any advice will be helpful. Check it out and let me know please   thank you for your time

https://faucet-ninja.webador.com/

Based on how you configure your website you are a newbie in website development, you have a poor choice of template the logo is more visible than the faucets that you are promoting, in my experience on promoting faucets you should give reviews of the faucets, like the rate of the faucets and if possible screenshots of your own withdrawals.

Everything on your site did not look good you have to sit down and think a lot about how to properly set up a good website, especially for a faucet aggregator.

This is your first post and you did well, you have done the research and you have one contribution already here in Bitcointalk something that is not expected and surprising for newbies with only one post.
I'm sure you will grow to become a good member of this forum, this is why I always recommend to newbies to refrain from posting a lot of reading and just roam around this forum.
There's so much to learn from Bitcoin and from this forum but you have to read and understand before you start participating in the discussions.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout money on: April 14, 2023, 10:31:56 PM

i thought i was safe depositing my own money in this  and play  because it was a verified account so nothing could go wrong i was mistaken
also didn't know that if you change emailaddress from  owner  wich i did   and change password that he could recover this account by changing email and password again   that seems easy  (or he has a telephone linked to it )  dunno how he recovered the account
only reason  i want to still get my cashout is because for me this is no small change so that's why i want to try everything to maybe hopefully get my money back even though i know this chance is small at best

Buying an account is a mistake because its a violation of the terms of the casino you will be caught along the way because the casino is good at tracing changes of account, they may even ask you to login into one of the devices you've used in this specific time, changing the password and an email address is one sign that there is a change of ownership and the system will mark it for future reference.
This is a bad idea that is why I always recommend ignoring those casino account sellers because there are risk attach to it, anyway, this is a reference on why you should not buy a casino account, however good it may seem.

534  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] | Best Bitcoin Mixer | Low fees | Fully automated on: April 14, 2023, 02:43:36 PM
Hi boys, we made some updates:
- added ticket system with ticket auto-deletion, works both for no-js and js version of service
- no-js version now have fee selector (instead of input) with auto-generated fees
- fixed transaction status for transactions rejected from being included in blockchain
- a bit more obfuscation and protection from dust attacks
- after click on transaction hash redirect is now to .onion blockchain explorer if you used tor
- a lot of UI fixes and improvements
 Cool

With all these additional features added,  Yomix is worth being on top of the list of mixer users, there are many other mixers around but Yomix upgrades for a better users experience, its only 3 months since Yomix announce their launch here, and that short time they have built their reputation and their brand, it's a steady and fast growth.
Congratulation to the Yomix team.

536  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you get familiar with threads? on: April 13, 2023, 11:51:38 PM
Most at times I get confuse and stuck when I see some post with strange or unfamiliar threads but at the same time I will see a lot of people arguing the threads and comments. I don't know how wide is crypto currency with exclusive terminologies like nodes, cores, NFt etc. At some point I wonder what I can do to mingle deeply in the discussion and contributions of this hard terms but one can not said something where you have no ideas. That's why I want to know how you get much familiar with all bitcoin technologies? What should I do?

Don't go fast and in a hurry, take your time you cannot learn everything overnight, check what interests you more not because of the requirement on the signature you are eyeing to join, discussion should be natural and not redundant you should input your very own ideas not just the idea of the other posts that you have rewritten.

If you want to know more about terminologies we have a section dedicated to that subject and Youtube has a lot of resources for those terminologies and we also have a lot of articles online.
537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I earn only from cryptocurrencies? on: April 13, 2023, 10:43:36 PM
I wonder, how many of you work in crypto full time, and how many use this as an additional source of income?

If you want to, you can share with us what you are doing in crypto. Is it trading, aidrops, writing articles, marketing, etc ?

Cryptocurrency is an additional source of income for me, I am very lucky and privileged to be in a campaign that pays Bitcoin, this is the best time and right time to accumulate Bitcoin, just when halving is coming and we are on moving from a bear to a bull market I'm trying to add more Bitcoin to my portfolio as a preparation for that.

I'm doing a signature campaign, bounty campaigns, and marketing on some Cryptocurrency based platforms like publish0x.com there are a lot of works in the industry and this is the best time to develop your skills to offer service.
538  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Start-Up Funding on: April 13, 2023, 09:36:38 PM

Regarding funding, I'm seeking suggestions for funding a new project in its early stages. We currently have seven prototype versions, and I'm working on the eighth. I've been working tirelessly to explain the project's concepts in plain English and back them up with detailed mathematical documentation. If you have any funding suggestions or know of someone who might be helpful, please let me know.

With investors losing their trust in ICO type of funding it will really depend on how good your project is and how good your portfolio is as a developer, if funding is the one that can keep the project I recommend that you present this on the investor community in your country to get the initial funding, then create a thread in the altcoin section about your project for additional funding, but that will not be easy at this point in time as investors are scrutinizing all the project that comes along for funding.
Because there are projects that look good that failed to materialize because of the developers' greed and lack of motivation for the projects' completion, you will find it hard to get support from investors now.
539  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I think it's time to leave Binance, any alternatives? on: April 13, 2023, 03:09:12 PM
As centralized exchanges continue to collapse, trusting them has become increasingly difficult. Despite not going well with CZ and Binance, if Binance were to collapse, the entire crypto market would collapse as well. Therefore, people will lose trust in centralized exchanges altogether. Instead, it is more secure to opt for a decentralized exchange and avoid storing funds in centralized exchanges.

Two scenarios that could happen, one is there will be a domino effect where traders will lose their trust in the centralized exchange industry and they will withdraw their coins in these centralized exchanges, or another big exchange will fill the void of Binance, if the first scenario happens there's a big probability that the market will crash, but if the second scenario happens the market will improve.
Everything is on speculation but the community is confident that CZ will take care of business as he worked hard to get his platform to that position.
540  Economy / Reputation / Re: Jr BM asking for 300 positive comment in his service thread via bounty campaign. on: April 13, 2023, 08:06:30 AM
Project developers should not trust this kind of bounty manager because they are incapable of bringing up good results if they are faking their trust rating they are also going to fake their results.
Legit bounty managers never resort to shilling they know that project developers are wise enough to choose the right managers for their project, not someone who manipulates their reputation through shilling.
