721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Strange Bank - The Only Bank Guarantees 10,000x Return on: February 19, 2023, 10:11:14 AM
They can boost that they are
Quote
The Only Bank Guarantees 10,000x Return
because their token has no value, will have no value at all the project is really strange and unique it's the first I've seen a scheme like this, it's like a child play the way they device their scheme, as all the rest that offers high rewards this too will also go down the drain, it's right that you reported it here to warn people and tag the developers and those who will promote this project.
722  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: investing for beginners must be large capital or small capital. on: February 17, 2023, 11:33:37 PM
I am a beginner in bitcoin and crypto, I want to ask all of you, do you have to invest in crypto with small capital or large capital? in my opinion, if our invest in crypto for beginners and invest with large capital, it seems that if you fail, you will experience big losses, but if you make a profit, it will definitely be big, so what do you think?

Its always been to invest what you can't afford to lose, it never changes, if you're comfortable with a small amount to test the water then go, if you think you can with a large amount so you maximize your profit then you are free to do so, as long as you are comfortable with the result and you will accept the result, the market at present is doing good but we never know what tomorrow brings, things happen so fast, your portfolio is good then your portfolio is on its worse the next day.
723  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] | Best Bitcoin Mixer | Low fees | Fully automated on: February 17, 2023, 10:48:07 PM

Low fee is just for marketing purposes for now, it may increase in the near future. We have a lot of obfuscation inside about what i'll not going to tell here because of privacy purposes.

Its understandable you have to start on something that will attract mixer users when you are starting out in this business, and you did the right thing by offering lower fees and launching a marketing campaign, I'm sure your users will understand but it's much better if it's slightly lower than those fully established mixer.
But as long as you keep your reputation clean and very active here you can build loyal users, it's a long way but since you started right you just need to keep up.
724  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Owl.games confiscated 0.1 BTC for rediculous reason on: February 17, 2023, 09:45:26 PM
Any update on your complaint or have you sent them a message about the existence of this accusation on the recommended platform, you know it hurts when you invested in their token and they have this complaint being ignored by the developers.
I'm down 50% of my holdings on their token, some people will say it has something to do with the beat market or whales' action but you know you couldn't hold on to a token when its trustworthiness and reputation are questionable
I might dump it on other casino-based tokens like BFG which is performing great in the market and their staking is much better.
725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Identification of scammers? on: February 17, 2023, 02:51:12 PM
I want to know how to identify scammers and if there is any how can we know them as a beginner.

Honestly, it's hard to tell the Cryptocurrency world is full of surprises and diverse characters and personalities because scammers are good at impersonating people and personalities, we have so many two-faced people in the industry because of the absence of KYC and verification, even known personalities and popular and considered legit platforms are guilty of scamming people.
Scammers are everywhere they can be developers, they can be members of this forum or they can be admins of platforms, the best way not to fall on these scammers is to moderate your greed and always be on alert for signs, you need to know what these signs are.
726  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining on cryptocurrency. on: February 17, 2023, 12:27:17 PM
All member have said is likely true if you "Mining" cryptocurrency you should your own hardware. But from what you have said you get trouble withdrawing to most likely you invest on scam site.

Can u share the website, from where you know this website? if there is People DM you and give huge return investment is 99% scam

True miners are those with hardware if you don't have this hardware and you just invest in one site and it told you that you are paying for its hardware, it's likely Cloud mining, also known as the Ponzi scheme.
Cloud mining is the new Ponzi scheme now, it has been proven it's a fact they enticed people for free Ghs of mining power, and when you see that your earning is increasing they ask you to deposit and buy more hash so you can earn more.
I guess OP is very late in finding this out so he got scammed.
727  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be calm and let things flow. on: February 17, 2023, 06:50:09 AM

As with the case of this forum, newbies should try to be calm as with the merit and post section rush that is more of a trend these days. Be calm and take your time to understand the way things get done here, mostly as regards comment style, presentation of work, organization of reference and links,  terms and languages being used. You will see how things just flow with ease.

It's understandable because of the signature campaign that pays people to post on this forum, but it's a wrong mindset in a hurry to get more merits to rank so you can join in a signature campaign, its a good motivation but if you just post for the sake of posting and going in a flow of discussion is not your interest you will be exposed as a spammer I have seen so many posts that are redundant, they just read other people's post and just rephrase it to make it appear unique.
728  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Network of scam sites mixers on: February 16, 2023, 10:58:16 PM
Fraudulent mixers are the worst type of fraud, since they are illegal in all countries so there is nothing you can do if you are scammed.

The only guarantee is that the mixer is reliable, otherwise if they steal your money, you will lose it forever and you will never be able to get it back again. You will not be able to file a complaint against them to any government agency.

So the only way is to warn users about these scam mixers before they fall into their trap.
There are other mixers who are dedicated to marketing their service and platform to the community and they promote in places where they can show their legitimacy one of these places is here in Bitcointalk and one of these is Yomix, in the past, there's only one mixer that actively promotes their service here, I'm glad we have two or three more, Mixer users will have a wide range of choice, use them and compare each service.
729  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OKX SCAM - Prosecute suspected fraud on major exchanges.😡😡😡😡😡 on: February 16, 2023, 02:06:38 PM
Its been 8 days and OP never provided anything he wants us to sympathize with their cause but their promise is still hanging 8 days a very long for a promise that involves an accusation, they should have readied all the documents needed before creating an accusation here, this should be a shred of strong evidence because we are not talking of a small exchange here, they have money and they can counter with libel if the shreds of evidence are not strong.

I sincerely hope that many people will sympathize with us, join us, and root out these social evils.

We will soon share the okx listing reservation notarization promised by the project team, detailed information about the okx China refund team, and submit evidence of the trading account tracking, revealing that this is the truth.

We will gather all the evidence soon and update it.

We will also share this with the numerous social and scam reporting communities we know.

* Evidence such as the okx listing contract will be shared soon.
730  Other / Meta / Re: 5700+ posts, 1000+ activity, 0 Merit, Still Newbie. Ver2023 on: February 16, 2023, 01:11:50 PM
Haha, that didn't take long. It looks like another great Bitcointalk bounty hunter career will now come to an abrupt end.
Hah, there's no way that he stop his bounty hunter career just because 2 of his accounts will end up tagged. God knows how many accounts he has and already and its not like that he can't join campaign with a brand new account.

This kind of account does not have a contribution to the forum's discussions there are thousands of new discussions in a month I'm sure there are discussions that will suit his interest, it's ok to be a bounty hunter as long at least 1/4 of your posts in a week are on participating in discussions.
Bounty managers should lay out a rule that they only hire Junior account or participate in discussion at least twice a week, there's too many cheaters in the bounty section and they disregard forum rules.
731  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crashscores.com 💥 Realtime Crash Game Statistics on: February 15, 2023, 11:52:56 PM

Thanks, next update will be mobile optimization and bustabit will be added  Cool

Thanks for thinking to add Bustabit, it's one of the oldest Crash games in the industry and the pioneer since they are the original and they help made popularize the Crash game, they deserve to have a spot on your platform.
Crash game is probably one of the exciting games in luck-based casinos I usually play it manually so I can have full control of how to stop I never set it auto because it's more fun doing it manually.
732  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FreeWallet.org stole my money on: February 15, 2023, 11:17:26 PM
I do not know what is the nature of the promotional campaign carried out by that wallet to get all this number of users[1][2][3], but they have a long history of closing accounts without explaining the real reasons. We can say that they are selective scammers. Once you deposit a large amount, they will try to take your money.

[1] Freewallet.org is SCAM !! DO NOT USE THIS WALLET !![Solved]
[2] FREEWallet.org is a SCAM
[3] [SCAM ALERT] FREEWALLET.ORG SCAM 6k

Why they decided to steal $50 baffles me.

There are no more users with thousands or hundreds of dollars in their platform so they will go to small amounts now, when you are in a scam platform there is no such thing as a safe amount, not because you only have $50 your money is safe, small amounts have finally come to scam them or it's your turn now.
A good and safe practice is when a platform started to scam its users even if you still can withdraw leave them and don't wait for your turn.
733  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Electronic devices that can detect wrong wallet on: February 15, 2023, 02:18:45 PM
I want to ask if it's possible to create a device that detect wrong wallet address, i dont know such device or bot app is already existing,

None that I know, but even if there is one I'm not going to use it, it's a third-party application that could manipulate my transaction, when doing a transaction it's better to be mindful and check the address we are sending because of the so many news about clipboard malware.

Quote
somebody sent Bitcoin to Bitcoin address given and since a week the person insist of not seeing the coin and not even showing a sign of coin is on process and he complained to me. Having such device that  notice Bitcoin addresses will help bitcoiners.
There are Bitcoin explorers, you two should both know this because part of transacting is knowing that you can see the confirmation on the blockchain, you can send the transaction ID, or check the address of the recipient, the beauty of Cryptocurrency is the receiver cannot deny that he received it when he really received it.

734  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tool For Check ChatGPT Plagiarisme on: February 15, 2023, 02:47:49 AM
We need this tool because there will always be cheaters in signature participants whether, in casino or bounty altcoin signature campaigns, this is now very challenging for moderators and for us as well in deciphering what are the posts that are generically produced by AI, these tools are a big help to combat plagiarism and to make known to some members that engage in faking their posts that we will not tolerate the behavior of cheating.
735  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoid Scam Projects on: February 14, 2023, 11:36:13 PM
Your advice or points are all good but even if the project has all the potential to be great, investors are still losing, because the admin left the development of the project or the team cannot keep up and the platform is not serving the majority of the community.
It's not good that you pick a project that you think has potential, you also need to follow it up, monitor its development, and check if the motivation of the team is still high to promote their platform and make it usable by the majority of the community.
736  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Logo imperfection on: February 14, 2023, 11:02:17 PM
I don't think there is any big deal in this case

I was just a logo, and we all sure as hell know how it was intended to be. I am not a professional graphics designing, but I did study some fine art and have some talent in art. Such "imperfections" happen at times  Wink

I also don't think its a big deal either all the great painting have flaws in them, but this Bitcoin logo is ignorable as long as the blockchain is working perfectly and there's no disruption it has had no impact on the community, in the past the community's motivation is on propagating and promoting the use of Cryptocurrency that they did not have time to look for imperfection on the official logo.
737  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Owl.games confiscated 0.1 BTC for rediculous reason on: February 14, 2023, 02:36:27 PM
And here yet another example of their horrible customer service......many questions from me in the livechat.....then after 19 hours I ask if they are even going to reply......and even that is now 2 days ago and they are not even reading it!

The only problem now was they are already gone in the forum and decided to focus on their live support and social media account. Their ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5378280.1200 is already locked which means even if we proven them guilty which is more likely it is, We can’t still help you to recover your funds. I believe this is the main reason why they close their ANN thread so that no one can question them publicly and every user with problem will be pushed to use the customer support.

I think you should take priority first on securing to withdraw your initial balance then go to Askgambler to file a complaint about this casino.

You are right, I indeed should secure my remaining balance by withdrawing it. I have now done this. Strangely enough they were alert this time and withdrew it to my wallet in several minutes.
But this does not solve the issue. I still need the remaining 0.1BTC which was completely fairly won. I will keep trying to attract their attention in every way I can.
I would find it really strange if they are throwing away their (up until now fairly good) reputation for such a small sum.

Thanks also to holydarkness for his efforts to bring this thread to their attention.

Don't just give up on that 0.1 and keep us updated on whatever platform you file your complaint, it seems that they totally left Bitcointalk. considering that this is the place they create announcements and they even launch a signature campaign, surely they got a number of players here in this community and helped them to become a popular casino, it's ok for them to lock their thread but they need to address every accusation that comes along.
738  Other / Meta / Re: What's AI Written Post? on: February 14, 2023, 02:02:45 PM

Honestly I cannot even post as good as that reply generated by AI

I think that this should be the defining moment. If you look at AI-generated posts and then go back to user-generated posts, there is likely to be a difference in spelling. Especially when you consider that this bot will be used by users who are bad at English and in some questions on topics.
But while there is no clear rule, and AI lovers can post here, but I want to say that some of the phrases that the AI bot pulls out from different texts are long enough, after which one can easily accuse the one who uses AI of plagiarism.
Again, there are many newcomers here, and many do not know how the cleaning bot from plagiarism walked around the forum. At that time, many accounts were banned for copying one sentence.
Anyone who values their account should think about it. It is likely that this plagiarized machine may one day repeat its purge.

Any forum should protect itself from plagiarism, especially in a forum like Bitcointalk where one of its features is allowing freelancers to make money from using the signature feature of the forum, once it got penalized by Google it will stop showing results from keywords coming from Bitcointalk, we all going to suffer from this so it's better for managers and moderators to ban members who are caught using AI to participate in the discussion.
It should be the responsibility of the majority here to protect our forum.
739  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scamming on USDT TRC20 Network with Proofs on: February 13, 2023, 10:57:24 PM

I received a message from @iskmn5 asking to check my Tron wallet. I immediately open my TronLink apps, but there are no active wallets anymore (I have already described this). For my part, I tried my best to memorize it and did everything I could to recover it and send it back. It would be my pleasure to help him out, but I have no way to do so. @iskmn5 never understood the hardship I was going through.

We cannot tell if there's dishonesty on your part although there's a little contradiction its very clear that there was carelessness on the part of OP, we all dread the situation where we sent a huge amount to the wrong address, we have been aware of the clipboard malware we have been aware of the possibility of copy-pasting the wrong address, and this is another example of being mindful and alert when sending, OP has to accept that the funds are already loss.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MetaMask issues scam alert as NameCheap hacker sends unauthorized emails on: February 13, 2023, 03:48:10 PM
They've already addressed this issue and they are investigating this matter for more updates regarding this phishing email check this link

[IN PROGRESS] EMAIL GATEWAY ISSUE

This is one example of why we should not trust all the emails we received when it comes to linking our wallet or sending vital information without verifying, we should remember the basic and cardinal rule, the trusted platform will never ask for private keys.
