There is an important decision to be made regarding the CoinShuffling feature coming in the 1.6 release.
All NXT holders, please see this thread, and vote in the poll hosted on the Nxt blockchain:

I don't know if this has been shared in this thread already or not, and if it has I apologize for bumping it.
Cyber.fund has rated basically every crypto-currency excising. It can be found here: http://dev.cyber.fund/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=8
What do you you think about it? In my opinion it's spot on.
A rating without reasoning isn´t a rating in my eyes.
https://forum.safenetwork.io/uploads/db7405/1427/89f0ab883e3d2bd1.png
Here you go, a 79 pages slideshow. It's from earlier this year though so maybe not fully up to date. ^^ That's slide 21. http://cyber.fund/cyberep
Maidsafe and Bitshares listed as anonymous is almost as funny as Ripple getting the highest rating on decentralization.
I think it got the lowest? Most everything about that list is... well, let's say biased.

I just read the slide. He's quite right on Bitcoin, BitShares, Nxt and Ethereum thought.
I guess he didn't study all of the cryptos he puts a rating on.
Anyway, is there anyone in the world able to follow objectively all the cryptos ?

News from Digital Coin Farm (cryptostocks: COINFARM)

Dear shareholders,

there are a lot of news about COINFARM.
First let me introduce myself:

My name is Mike Mokry, I am the new admin of COINFARM after the old ones gave up the project.
Based in Germany, 40 yrs old and willing to make COINFARM to a serious company trading
crypto stocks and other assets.
I will pay out a monthly dividend.

I wish to create a really wonderful THING. A company everything involved is proud of.

Some weeks ago I decided to give the project a new chance. Share price was at 0.000005 btc …
not pretty good.

After my announcement yesterday (and a first dividend payout) price raised up to 0.000998 btc.
But today cryptostocks.com seems to be offline again.

So what to do?

I am planning to move to another crypto stock exchange... I am just looking for a serious one! ;-)
Any advice?

If you receive this email your shareholder status is saved (from shareholderlist-2015-07-17 19_08_36 ).
7.495 shares are hold by anonymous shareholders... maybe we can reach them later.

So I hope the stock will be tradable as soon as possible.

A big thank you to everyone for keeping the faith to COINFARM.

First steps to reanimate COINFARM:

1. change to another crypto stock exchange.
If you have a serious alternative, please let me know!

2. issue another 40,000 shares to have a working capital
EVERYTHING is gone with the old admins... :-(
Otherwise your shares are worthless!

3. payout of a stable dividend
Out of my personal pocket I will payout 0.5 btc monthly until new start of the company.
That´s my humble contribution to build trust for our future.

Again: thank your for your trust!
Stay on board! :-)

Another personal desire:

What can I do for YOU?

Like your site on facebook? Follow you on instagram? Anything else?

I am a great Fan of the „Thank you Economy“... from Gary Vaynerchuk... maybe you want to have a look inside: http://amzn.to/1Ve5jZh

Still any question about COINFARM? Just let me know!

wait, you still dont have a gui?

"We" (I'm not a core dev) do. There are multiple third party gui client already + a web wallet.
The official gui was not released yet for testing purpose but you should be fine with the web wallet.
I personally like using the command line client. Quite fun.

pas mal le système de funding (graphique)

C'est parce que David Latapie a déserté ?

David n'est pas développeur.
moneromoo est un dev compétant et il doit être rémunéré pour un travail de 6 mois.
Au passage, n'importe qui peut postuler.

Atrides,
Now that you've had a chance familiarize yourself with OpenBazaar, can you describe what needs to be done to make it compatible with XMR and estimate how long it would take to do it? Also, what are the obstacles to completing the project as you initially proposed. Are there technical difficulties? Do you need help?
Best,
pa

bump for Atrides to see

1854  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is a mini ICE AGE on the way? Scientists warn the sun will 'go to sleep' on: July 13, 2015, 07:25:53 PM

Thanks To Reduced Solar Activity, We Could Be Heading For A Mini Ice Age In 2030

Life on Earth has always been dependent on the conditions of the Sun, so scientists spend a lot of time studying its activity. A recent announcement from solar scientists suggests that the Sun may soon enter a period of significant reduced activity, possibly causing a mini ice age by 2030 – just 15 years from now.

These predictions were announced at the National Astronomy Meeting in Llandudno, Wales, so it hasn't been possible to evaluate the research yet. However, Professor Valentina Zharkova from the University of Northumbria who made this announcement claims that the findings come from a computer model of sunspots that has made "unprecedentedly accurate predictions," as reported in The Guardian.

The model has shown to have a 97% accuracy when mapping the past movements of sunspots, using data of solar cycles from 1976 to 2008. And if this reliability continues, then the model also has some alarming predictions for the future: a mini ice age sometime around the 2030s.

Bonjour cyberno,

2 <== True <== des millions  Cool

Pas d'accord pour le 1, as tu des exemples ?
World of Warcraft, Diablo III et Hearthstone ont des bots.
Aucun jeu vidéo n'est immunisé aux bots.

"Monero" is under attack by TrademarkFuckers.
I've got today the abuse.
I don't get any earning from moneroclub site and don't want to cover legal costs. Therefore the project will move to the new domain.
I find that very dangerous for Monero community. This trademark fucker can destroy any monero site.
BTW1, "monero" is esperanto word, how it is possible to register common words from dictionary?
BTW2, bitcoin TM is registered by community. Didn't someone from monero community happen to register trademark "monero"?

Oh fuck.
