WTF?
Code:
Pool Diff 16000
"yourIPisbanned"
W00ps, changed to 3333 will see. Encoding.

We have a lot of detection system to block cheating attempt. It may result in false positive a bit like antivirus sometimes.
There are different level of banning. If it's the first time it happens, it should be temporary and you'll be able to reconnect very soon.
We do this for your own good. A real cheater may steal some of the hashrate from other miners and reduce your profit.

XMR shitcoin - dont invest its ponzi scam
The butthurt is strong with you. Sorry about your loss.  Roll Eyes
I second that LOL  Cheesy

I third that. Feel the butthurt.
XMR won already.

2016 is such a great year.

There isn't any hardware for XMR mining?
Is it worth it to start CPU/GPU mining  concerning electricity prices Cheesy

My miner friends told me that CPU is profitable and GPU is on par with ETH.
For CPU mining you need to have AES-NI instructions. Professional CPU (servers) are the most efficient.
Anti-virus will flag CPU miner software as a virus, you need to whiteflag/trust the folder and exe manually (if using Widows ofc).

By pure curiosity I had a look on a DNM on Tor, and I really quickly saw :
"Im offering 10% extra on orders if you will pay me with Monero"
Interesting...

Hmm yes it seems like sellers really appreciate Monero and it wasn't just hype.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMR] monero.crypto-pool.fr | Large Monero Mining Pool on: August 30, 2016, 04:35:58 PM

IP fixe, ports ouverts, canal fixe si WiFi, ...

Dear superresistant
I've read a lot but can not find out how to monitor workers, something like "XMR_WALLET.WORKERID". Can you help me?
Thanks

We are developing a basic solution to track workers yes.

hello super ,
J'ai pas mal d'erreur sur mes rig :
Stratum - socket send failed 10053, disconnect
Stratum - connecting to 'xmr.crypto-pool.fr' <212.129.44.157> port 8888
Stratum - Connected
DevFee: Pool Diff 45000.3
et
: {"id":1,"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-1,"message":"Blockexpired"}}
Stratum - connecting to 'xmr.crypto-pool.fr' <212.129.44.157> port 8888
Stratum - Connected
c'est normal ?

Salut,

Hello,
I lost my password of my wallet ¿ what can i do ?
You might want to try bruteforcing if the password was short.
I wonder if the wallet automatically close or lock after each wrong attempt though.
Thanks for the help
How Can i try bruteforcing ? Probably is around 10 digits Alphanumeric.
Thanks, thanks.

10 chars might be doable but there is no software for this. I'm afraid you will need the help of a dev/hacker and he won't do it for free...
(I am not a hacker)

One dev gave me this relevant comment :
A hack could be made, changing in wallet2 to go through a list, and decrypt there.
in wallet2::load_keys.

Huh, I never check.
I just though it was the same fee.

Nope, transaction fees are very expensive on Monero compared to Bitcoin because of the ring-signature mixing.
To have a direct payout on exchange, there are two solutions : raise the fees by a lot or increase the minimum payout by a lot.
We estimated that, without raising the fees, we would have to put a minimum payout of 10 XMR. If all miners are OK with that we can do it but I think most miners won't accept it.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMR] monero.crypto-pool.fr | Large Monero Mining Pool on: August 29, 2016, 03:12:34 PM
is the update including direct mining to exchange?
because i've been using other pool because of that.

Actually, the reason why we haven't done it is because it is way too expensive (for the miner and the pool).
What are the fees do you pay for direct to exchange on other pool ? Did you check ?

952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMR] monero.crypto-pool.fr | Large Monero Mining Pool on: August 29, 2016, 02:34:07 PM
your "getting started" section isn´t very meaningful - so is it possible to mine directly to an exchange (Poloniex) with their payment ID attached to the Monero adress?
Thank you.

No we don't allow the payment_ID yet.

Use a full node or SPV wallet or an online wallet but no direct mining to exchange.

Now that Monero is profitable again, we will work on some updates.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: August 29, 2016, 02:31:54 PM
downloads section on getmonero seems to be down.
From IRC:
Quote
<_Slack> <fluffypony> the mining testnet node is down
<_Slack> <fluffypony> completely borked an upgrade
<_Slack> <fluffypony> software upgrade, I mean
<_Slack> <fluffypony> unrelated to MM
<_Slack> <fluffypony> and that’s also killed the relays and my IRC bouncer
<_Slack> <fluffypony> have to wait for helping hands at the DC to go fix.
That's why getmonero.org is down too currently.

Thanks for the info. Many people were worried about the delay.

Is there a guide on rec amount of mixin to use?

Code:
transfer X ADDRESS AMOUNT PAYMENTID

X is the mixing. I use 2 but that's the minimum.

Jamais.

--Do you run crypto-pool.fr?

Yes with perl, he's the tech guy but he doesn't talk too much.

--I'm using the default pool in the program. (crypto-pool.fr). I entered my MyMonero.com Monero address in your program before running your program. Will your program automatically put a payout in my MyMonero.com wallet when there's a payout, or do I have to do some action for it to pay out?

Nothing else to do, a Monero address is enough. If you think that your payout is taking too long, PM me your address, I'll have a look.

--Is the first payout to one computer connected to the crypto-pool.fr pool, with all defaults left in program (truly one-click), likely to be in the order of hours, days or weeks?

Well it really depends on your mining power. At the time I did the one click miner, the difficulty was much lower but nowadays mining is professional. Some miners got thousands of CPUs or hundreds of GPUs.

Looking forward to seeing what we can do with the source code on our end.
Thank you for your service!

I'm still looking for it. You're welcome.

--Will it work with a online wallet? I'm using mymonero.com. (I wasn't able to get the Light Wallet working, even with simplewallet in the same directory, and the full wallet gets stuck downloading the Monero blockchain at about 90% for days now, so I closed it.)

Yes it will work.

--How long will it take to pay out some XMR? I've been running the One-Click Monero Miner for 7.5 hours. Was expecting to at least get some dust by now.

I cannot tell. It depends if you reach the minimum payout and it depends on how often the pool do the payouts per day.
You can mine with multiple computers on the same address to accelerate the payout.

--Do you have the source code for the One-Click Monero Miner anywhere? I'd love to adapt it to some other CryptoNote coins. I saw about 40 pages back where someone asked for source code, but it seems like the answer was to the Monero source, not to the One-Click Monero Miner source.

I will send you via PM when I find it. It's on one of my laptop somewhere.
It will be easy for you to update and improve it.

--Avast flags the One-Click Monero Miner as a virus. Based on your trust level on here, I'm sure it's not. And I'm running it on a spare machine with no financial info or passwords (other than MyMonero). Is this just an issue of Avast?
Thank you for your service!

Avast will flag any CPU miner as a virus because there are a lot of virus that use the CPU to mine. It's normal, no worries.
If I was a hacker, I would not bother building a reputation.
