I can see gold becoming a useful cheap metal for making 100-200 year long batteries for Tesla's electric cars.

Maybe it's just the beer talking but I've had something on my mind for quite a while now and I feel I have to say something about it.
You buggers were trying to get me to make a special 20k hat to celebrate when we got there. I thought long and hard about doing it because of the amount of work involved and the actual length of time a 20k hat might remain valid. I'll admit that at the time it seemed like a long way off anyway so I procrastinated and to be honest, I'm glad I did because we sailed through 20k like it wasn't even a thing, remained there for less than 2 hours and never looked back! Many of you wouldn't even have had time to don the hat anyway. So, now, when I hear you guys saying we're going to 100k or 166k or 200k I realize that you have no idea how big this thing is going to be! Still, I love you all and I'm glad we're on this trip together.

I bought myself a model rocket from the UK today, decided to start launching rockets again, something I did when I was younger.
It's gonna be interesting to see what the customs fee is, if any, now that brexit is done.
When I was a kid I used to make rockets out of paper towel tubes and one time I ran out of wadding so I substituted tissue paper (woops i was a dumb kid) So when the cone shot off the rubber band melted and the rocket fell to the ground while the parachute with the cone floated in the sky till I couldn't see it and was gone. Now here is the fucking sick part! I got home and the cone was sitting on the front walk to my front stairs!!! you just can't make this shit up! Reality is a really weird place to live. Oh snap! Did I forget to tell you I found your cone? I rang the bell but got no answer so I left it on the front walk so you'd see it when you came home. |
