Actually, I was thinking about who Musk might be in the WO, and surely proudhon would be a decent candidate.

The general tone is in the right place, but does account age check out?

Proudhon's been around far too long to be Musk.

I can confirm. I am not Elon Musk.

proudhon is a Llama, not a Springbok.

Perhaps proudhon will give us some details on the upcoming Llama Price Movement, which could drop at any time.  I don't want to be anywhere close to that.

What you think about an Alpaca, they look really cute Cheesy

 Cuter.

Eek.  If my line is right... we are in for some rough waters...

*edit* On the daily we are still good... barely.

Stop doing whatever it is you're doing!  You're making Bitcoin fall!

edit: it looks like that line you drew might be support again.  Seems to be oscillating over it.
edit2: shit.  Anyway, I wont be able to watch - I have to go to work Sad

Okay guys I know we're all hurting due to this latest Bitcoin setback so I've decided to share with you a recipe for what I like to call Chocolate Depression Cake Two Ways.
Since we're all poor again, we can't afford luxuries such as butter, milk and eggs so this recipe does not require those expensive items.  You can continue to buy the dip and stack sats with your hard earned money while lowering your risk of depression and age-related cognitive decline (since we're waiting soooo long for the moon) by consuming this delicious and cheap, chocolate cake!  This is an actual recipe and it's vegan too (if you swing that way).

INGREDIENTS
CHOCOLATE CAKE
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar (granulated)
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
⅓ cup cooking oil
1 Tbsp vinegar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup water

CHOCOLATE ICING
1½ cups powdered sugar
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 Tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

CAKE
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt and baking soda thoroughly (use a bowl if you can afford one otherwise and old plastic 2 liter cola bottle will do).  Add the vinegar and the vanilla to the 1 cup of water then add the oil followed by the water mixture to the dry ingredients.
Stir (use an electric mixer if you can afford the utility bill) until smooth.
Pour the mixture into an 8 or 9 inch square baking pan.
Bake @ 350ºF for 35 minutes.

ICING
It is imporatant to let the cake cool before applying the icing.
Mix the powdered sugar, cocoa and vanilla extract together.  Begin adding water to the mixture 1 tablespoon at a time, until it thickens but is still able to be poured. (This should be about 3 Tbsp).
Pour the icing over the cake and spread to cover the cake.
Enjoy! (the chocolate and sugar will cause your brain to release endorphins to help to take away the pain of your poverty)

There must have been a mistake made!  Why is Canada not on that list?!  We've been happy since Confederation; it's in our constitution for Pete's sake!!  What have you Aryan bastards done with Canada?!
I'm so sad now.  I gotta go.  I'm going out to spray paint some happy graffiti on the parliament buildings and toss a few glitter grenades inside - maybe that will help.

Is Bitcoin dead?  Should I just turn it into an NFT now?

We know the stimmy was $1400 - Please tell us you spent the rest on steaks and beer.  Wink

Didn't need a stimmy. Does not feel right asking for one.

 That's very noble of you.

What does the profit on GPU mining look like at the moment? Any hopes it will calm down soon? I just want to get an upgrade so I can play Cyberpunk decently.

Not a chance in hell.  Chip shortage until 2022.  Best I can find available around here since Early January is the 1660 Super but I doubt that would give you a great Cyberpunk experience.

Seeing prices starting to waver again. Reset targets for the short term, before needing to reload powder.

Come on Mr. Lawblaw!  We know the stimmy was $1400 - Please tell us you spent the rest on steaks and beer.  Wink

Bank of New York Mellon Invests in Crypto Startup.

Quote
Bank of New York Mellon Corp is investing in a cryptocurrency startup, the latest move by a traditional Wall Street player to embrace digital assets.

The startup, Fireblocks, builds tools for the secure storage and transfer of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. BNY Mellon plans to use Fireblocks’s technology to underpin a new business that the bank unveiled last month, in which it plans to serve as a custodian for digital assets on behalf of institutional investors.

Doesn't sound appealing, what they actually mean by "custodian for digital assets".

Probably just a re-branded core wallet on air-gapped machines sold for 20X over cost.

NFT garbage scam going full on retard now:

The World’s First NFT House Is Now for Sale
https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/world-first-nft-house-now-230000169.html

 Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes
So it's an imaginary ownership of a factitious house.

Wow. Seems legit. Roll Eyes
The SEC are going to have a field day on these idiots who are actually buying up these items thinking they are being hip and in the now for crypto.
Little do they realize everything can come crumbling down on their heads if ethereum (the chain they are being traded on) comes to a dismal end for whatever reason their developers claim to have happened whether it be a hack, a crack or a rack.
You who are in the know on cryptoisms are on to what I am am saying. Wink

Look, I stole a NFT with this code I wrote
Code:
Ctrl+C  Ctrl+V

Not any more that copy of bitcoin "coin" image is bitcoin.
Not everybody understands art anyway, I am not a connoisseur myself either, but some WILL be valuable.
It's just very difficult to say which one would be.
I still think that @xhomerx10 should make WO hats into an NFT (see my prior post) and who knows, maybe more nfts will come out of here eventually.

I saw your post about that while working night shifts.  Honestly, I don't know anything about NFTs or how you would make and profit from hats as NFTs - guess I have to do some research!

With the entire world looking for a store of value to replace bonds, gold, stocks, ETFs, real estate, & cash, it is inevitable that more & more successful investors like Howard Marks are going to discover, research, & embrace #Bitcoin.

I don't see what's so special about anyone who took this long to realize that Bitcoin is gentlemen.

Just bought another two batches of dip.

* BobLawblaw shrugs

The purchasing power of this degenerate act will soon measure in acres, whatever an acre is.

We've already covered this.  It's 10 square chains and Bob has Blocks of them.

Edit: i hate trying to use the forum from my phone

Nice White-power symbol... Huh

Are you new here? That's the WO sign.

Sorry I took so long to reply to the question and thanks for clarifying in my absence.
I was at an outdoor party, in a group of less than 10 people, socially distancing and wearing masks while trying to eat our food before it was either blown away or frozen by the gale-force winds @ 0°C.  The saddest part was watching my mom try to keep a solitary candle lit in those winds long enough for us to sing "Happy Birthday" to her before blowing it out (it was not on the cake per the covid regulations).  She did not succeed and nobody was in the mood for a third attempt after rushing the song for the second attempt. As unbelievable as that sounds, you'll never guess what kind of cake mom wanted... an ice cream cake!  At least we were able to take our time eating it since there was no chance of it melting until Wednesday at the earliest.  I'm pretty sure the end times are near.

Anyway... I should have done this in the first place:

... i'm getting a crazy clown hair vibe!

Speaking of hair vibe, that reminds me of an article I read a few years ago.  There's an amino acid used in the production of food products which is extracted from human hair that has been swept from the floors of salons and barber shops in China.

Memed the meme again for hungry WO's only!

Only ten years?!  At least two of them must have been hodlers; they didn't age well.

Can't say enough about this guy.  I've been getting service from Dellboygold for going on 4 years now and he's always quick to respond and very reliable.
