141  Economy / Economics / Re: How to Retire in Your 30s With $1 Million in the Bank on: September 06, 2018, 12:58:24 AM
bitcoin can certainly help people after retirement, but only if they are good in trading analysis, and since bitcoin is highly volatile, it is too risky to rely on bitcoin trading alone, you wouldn't want your retirement money goes to waste when you loose it in trading, retirement is not really the key to have money in your bank, that is only the result of your long term work, some people retire with nothing, especially now, money is undervalued because of the expenses, so if you are planning to retire, make sure it is worth your expenses, then half of it should go to investments, maybe diversify it to crypto and the tangible investments such as family business or property investments. you dont want to retire and plans to rent all your remaining life. be wise before you retire.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after several years? on: September 05, 2018, 08:52:30 AM
what do you think will happen on bitcoin after several years?
i expect that bitcoin will a more bigger continuities and maybe that we can use bitcoin currency in public like buying in a supermarket cause we alk know that technology in our world was growing in every second that's only what I'm thinking
what about your thoughts?

from the day it began up to this date, bitcoin has exponentially grew in many aspects, from a digital currency to a trading phenomenon, bitcoin has proven its worth and potentials thru developmental breakthrough, and i think it will be bigger for the coming years, your thoughts are drastically coming to reality, soon almost all trading firms, digital and physical stores will accept bitcoin as medium of payment.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: Be Creative and Earn on: September 04, 2018, 09:03:10 AM
this is just another way to prove that crypto have so many opportunities to offer, many services are being created that are paid with cryptos are evolving and swarming the internet, this only proves that crypto is expanding not only digitally but also the offline world or economy, it has created small time income generating jobs not only for the academe but also the common people.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: LIFE GOES ON. on: September 04, 2018, 08:56:49 AM
yes, even the price gets too low, we can hodl, from the time bitcoin was created up to present, it has survived so many obstacles, detractors, fuds and various countries are prohibiting the use of crypto, still bitcoin has prevail and will continue to nourish, expand and develop. the price may fluctuate to the extreme downs and ups, all we have to do is to hodl until the right time to sell will be beneficiary to us.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: September 04, 2018, 08:48:41 AM
I was questioned on crypto currencies legalization. I explained the facts happening around. Few received it with convincing reactions and few just ignored it. I really felt bad for the guys who did not care about crypto currencies as I really know the fruitfulness? I happily taught few others about crypto currencies. What was your friends expression when you introduced bitcoin to them?

at first they were hesitant to join, even my wife has no faith in bitcoin before, but when they earn their payout, they eventually get hooked, that is the same perception with other people, bitcoin and cryptos are new to them therefore they are not open-minded about bitcoin. but soon more and more people will get into bitcoin just what is happening right now, the numbers of users and traders are getting bigger.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money on a long-term period on: September 04, 2018, 05:52:24 AM
basically the easiest way to save money is not spending it if it is not necessary to, i mean, use your money in something that worth buying and it can generate income rather than spending it with nothing in return, like investments, the most common investment that offers long term ROI is property or real estate, in bitcoin, to save from losses is to hodl on a longer period. it will not only save your losses but also save more money when selling it if the price is high.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Deflation and Its' problems on: September 04, 2018, 05:04:53 AM
since bitcoin can be mined, the limitlessness of the supplies are the main factors that proves that bitcoin has boundless opportunities awaits for us, even bitcoin's supplies are endless we can see that the demand for bitcoin is not affected, that is why it is highly volatile, it is hard to predict and unstable, i think deflation is out of the question here, neither inflation, the supplies are not finite even though there is a higher demand for it, if in the future, bitcoin will become the universal currency, where there is a higher demand, and mining is regulated, then there will be a problem. but i am sure the system will adapt to it and they will come up with the proper solution.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting with Cryptocurrency is growing in popularity on: September 04, 2018, 02:26:46 AM
when i started in crypto, i started on a gambling sites that offers token satoshis and bitcoin, almost all users here are aware that crytpo and gambling are common in this kind digital sites, therefore, even before people knew that cryptocurrencies are associated with gambling, the fact that FUDs are using this loophole to create distrust on the cryptocurrencies not knowing that from gambling, look how crypto evolved as a trading medium to earn a profit on the not so illegal way.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bounty helped your project? on: September 04, 2018, 01:58:36 AM
wearing their signatures help boost a specific project, if the bounty runs on a longer period it means it is well funded and that attracts investors to put their money their projects, sometimes the project are deemed legit based on who manages their bounties, simple as wearing their company names are like promoting them and giving their company names with great and widely acceptance from broader market. it is mainly a marketing strategy.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Average time for a bounty project on: September 04, 2018, 01:48:51 AM
well if it can finish in about 5-6 months or more it is good, as long as possible the better. but it always depend on the company itself, even bounty managers are cannot control their bounties terms, some offers 4 months but unfortunately the bounty manager halts on the first month because the owner's payments are delayed or worst, suspended due to non-capital and eventually turns out as a scam.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever consider this; The end of Crypto on: September 04, 2018, 01:25:56 AM
Most members keep on asking each day that the crypto activities we all know of and have been hyping will collapse. Some expert investors who don't like Bitcoin, Crypto and blockchain tevhnology always say the bubble will burst and everything will come to zero. So I want to ask, does that mean are we going to see the following:

* A market capitalization of about $252,730,956,280 (CMC now) going to go a waste?

* Big companies such as Binance, Kucoin, Huobi, Bithumb and the rest going away?

* USA and other countries boycottimg their regulations and China forgetting about their intention to set up new regulations on crypto?

* Awesome blockchain technology that many governments are interested in going a waste?

* Huge investments in crypto turning to zero

* And even Satoshi Nakamoto not doing anythimg to ensure what he pioneered sustains and endures?

and so much more to come.....

Guys I think we are pioneering something that is going to be great in the future. Let's think positive. The market is down, but crypto hasn't collapsed. We shall surely bounce back!!

these are all pure hypothetical scenarios, baseless and impossible to happen, cryptos are here for years, there are dumps and pumps which are usually how the system works, but still crypto survives, it is ever growing and self- sustainable as predicted by the guy who invented it. it will not come to a zero.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all bounty hunters around the world, you'll need to see this on: September 03, 2018, 07:03:49 AM
Hi, I'm a bounty enthusiast. I need you to answer my simple questions.

1. Do you love crypto?
2. How much is your salary in joining bounty?
3. Do you want to be a bounty manager? Then why you don't do it now and find a new client to be their bounty manager?
4. What if the bounty which you have joined in a long time but the project is not to be compromised a k a scam project?

1, when you are here reading the forum, you certainly love crypto, 2, salary from bounties are not that high, especially when the coins they paid you is not yet in major exchanges, 3, being a bounty manager is hard especially when all your projects are unsuccessful, and you dont have the credentials, 4, that is the risk we are all taking, not knowing the scams project.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A huge project in sight on: August 30, 2018, 01:11:40 AM
Hi all,
Exciting project, they talking about new protocol and new library anentusJs working over ETH,

  What do you think guys?

i hope this project will push through and be successful, based on your data, it has a good and neat resume, well this kind of projects are worth waiting for, if it true that the forecasted long term will hit 50$ im sure lots of traders will be eyeing on this project. good luck!
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties are becoming like mining on: August 30, 2018, 01:04:23 AM
It seems like bounties are becoming more and more like mining each day.  Simply not profitable.  The amount of dollars you earn vs the total amount of time you spend completing the tasks is less than minimum wage.  Are you guys moving over to trading or are you sticking it out hoping for better days?

for me yeah, since i dont have enough funds to trade, id rather do bounties, well, it depends on whose bounties are you in, but to say bounties are like mining, it is unlikely true, first, those two are different in many aspects, but to make it simple, more users are into bounties than mining, and we are talking about capitals and funds here, so for us small time users, we will still do bounties for now.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: important point on: August 30, 2018, 12:48:02 AM
government that prohibits bitcoin in some countries. If the government can accept the existence of bitcoin there are some important points in it:
* can pay off the "debt" of the country
* Improve the economy of the people
* Decrease in poverty level
I want to know what you think.

bitcoin is created for the sole purpose as digital currency, that later evolves into a currency that generates jobs and a whole lot more potentials to aid users, it does not mean it can fix those points you are saying, no one, nothing can do anything about paying a country's debt, improving economy and decrease poverty, we are stuck at the bottom, now, bitcoin is here to help and not totally fix everything, each individual has his own choice to stand up and make him less part of the sick society, we have the power to fix this, bitcoin is here to help. we people are the ones who should fix these.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Globalization on: August 29, 2018, 09:04:05 AM
actually bitcoin is the by product of globalization, a result of being a digital-based world, all over the world, bitcoin is getting its mark, more and more users are jumping in to crypto world, slowly adapting the nature of bitcoin as a decentralized assets. since the internet began, it shrink the world, it has forged each boundaries per country. as a result, bitcoin was invented.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin vs world economy on: August 29, 2018, 08:56:10 AM
Hi everyone

I'm pretty new to all of this and thinking about buying some bitcoin.

I have some concerns about the world economy influence on bitcoin.

For example what if the US decides to put restrictions on bitcoin? will it have a chance to not fall apart completely?

do you think Bitcoin is strong enough at this point to be self-sustaining?

thanks for the help

even today, it is not only america that is restricting it, almost major part of the world's country are not yet open into crypto and bitcoin specifically, and yet crypto world is blooming and gaining more popularity and patrons, even if america is an influencial country as far as economy is concern, still bitcoin has emerged from just being a digital currency to a common currency all over the globe, bitcoin has proven us all that it is ever growing and self-sustaining currency.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: The money started coming back to the cryptocurrency market on: August 29, 2018, 08:47:35 AM
just a natural thing in crypto world, and yes a bit too early to celebrate but good enough to give hope for traders, keep em going guys, after the rush, comes the great downtrend, so do not dump this early, give it a couple of push up to the level when it pulled off early this year. september to december is the date to pump up guys.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if a stable coin is in high demand? on: August 29, 2018, 08:37:00 AM
A stable coin is any cryptocurrency pegged to a stable asset, such as gold or fiat currencies. In theory, a stablecoin will remain constant in price, as it is a representation of a known amount of an asset.

My question is: Does a stable coin have a set total coin supply? Or does it have to be able to create and destroy based on the demand?

The image in my head goes like this:
A stable coin pegged to a currency started off its business saying it would have a coin supply of $5 billion. Everything works well until one day, the crypto market goes south and everyone rush to buy the stable coin. The coin is unable to sell to everyone because the demand for the coin is too high, so some people are left out.

Please correct me my misconception Cheesy

simply applies the law of supply and demand, if a coin has a limited supply but the demand is high, it tends to increase in price, therefore not stable, if a coin has low demand, means it has plenty of supplies in the market, means no one is buying it, therefore unstable too, a stable coin has plenty of supplies and the demand is also high, volatility is the major issue here, the fast paced trading due to high demand and also growing supplies because of mining and panic selling on the market are the culprit.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: New report on wash trading scares me on: August 29, 2018, 08:25:26 AM
Hey guys, so i've read a new report on how much of the exchanges volumes are just wash trading and the numbers are way too high for what real users do>.

This is pretty concerning, since the market might not be nearly as stable and mature as we think, it might all be manipulated.
What do you think of the current state of big exchanges and price manipulations that we experience?

my source: https://www.blockchaintransparency.org/reports/

Everything in this world is being manipulated by some powerful people out there. So, the crypto market is not all different from it and it is more prone to manipulation since it is decentralized.

And so decentralize is a two edge sword. But I do believe what the above users said, there is just so much demand for BTC that it doesn't matter whether the manipulation of those exchanges are true.  If the market has been manipulated for a long time, I guess they are also responsible for making us all richer. I say thanks to that. There must be a fight over who manipulates better among those who wants to.

that is true, being decentralize is more of a dual blade for every user, either you earn when they earn and loose when they loose, what matter is how much you can afford to, it depends on how much we invested, it is a one time punch for the big holders, it is either they hodl the sell big, while small time users never hodl but panic sell instead, while the demand is high but the supplies are low, if being manipulated, we have to take advantage of it. one punch for us, 10x for them, make sense.
