702  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: November 22, 2017, 03:35:37 AM
this is way too much to handle by bitcoin even though bitcoin has an enormous fund to put poverty to stop, poverty is global, the question is who will initiate funding the poor, bitcoin is peer to peer, individual effort. maybe the tab DONATE, is meant for that question. but im sure there are few good samaritans out there that are already helping the needy by donating bitcoins.
703  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 22, 2017, 03:22:03 AM
yes it is better to save and invest at the same time. not only your money will earn interest or doubled the amount, but if you just save it and not invest it, there would be no interest earned and your money will sleep only and it will not generate more income
704  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: November 22, 2017, 02:17:47 AM
you can call it an asset and a currency, the terminologies does not matter, when you look at it basically it is a currency, but when you have lots of it and put in crypto wallet and hold it for a period, it resulted as an asset, it is already given that a currency is a term for the sole purpose of buying and trading, while an asset represents your total holdings and earnings resulted from a specific currency such as dollars, peso, euro and yen.
705  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: November 22, 2017, 12:39:47 AM
for a period of time yes, but not to the extent of being totally lost it's value in the market, if you can study the history of bitcoin, it has its own ups and downs, for a period of time it went down for almost to nothing, but it regained its momentum up to now, if we based on the value of bitcoin today, there is no way for it to lose its value, not unless there will be another cryptocurrency that will overtake bitcoin, maybe in the far future i guess.
706  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: November 22, 2017, 12:32:32 AM
yes, i think they are investing and know bitcoin a lot, with all their resources and wealth, investing in bitcoin is just a percentage of their total investments, rich people get richer remember? aside from their total assets, they have info on where to invest and bitcoin is just a part of them.

709  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: November 17, 2017, 03:42:24 AM
Bitcoin is a great investment because it's worth over $600 per coin despite still relatively being in its infancy. The potential is huge & you could today pay $600 for 1 coin which could be worth 10 x that in 5-10 years, maybe more.

Bitcoin is an incredibly wise asset to invest in right now.

agree, bitcoin is a good decision when it comes to investments, you may not need to wait for 5-10 years though, if you can see the price of bitcoin for the couple of days only, the price yesterday was amazingly increased today, the rate sky rocketed in a matter of hours, you have to play bitcoin based on these movements. years are a long time, days matters even minutes. just invest wisely.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can states buy all bitcoin? on: November 16, 2017, 12:51:21 AM
i think if a single state or country will be the sole owner of bitcoin, it is so impossible right now, no country is dumb enough to buy all bitcoins in the world, that would be huge amount of money, even all their resources and bonds and money are put together, no country can handle bitcoin, not unless they invested long ago and have a huge money invested in bitcoin, maybe in the distant future it will be possible, but now i doubt.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency are considered illegal? on: November 15, 2017, 05:55:05 AM
This simply shows that your government has no knowledge about bitcoin transactions and use. It is a digital currency just like a prepaid load on paymaya, credit card and other medium to buy stuff in the internet, there is no system to co transact with that is why it is not yet widely accepted by other countries especially third world countries. They dont have the control of bitcoin thats why they say it is illegal but actually it is legal.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me in understanding bitcoins on: November 15, 2017, 04:59:56 AM
Just go over threads about begginners there you will find info about what you are asking, true those are bits and pieces because most of us just learned it al by ourselves with the help of threads for newbies, besides, no one is nice enough to post all the info about bitcoin that every newbie is looking for just to read it without hardwork researching it. Have fun reading.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: November 15, 2017, 03:44:02 AM
I think it is not feasible, no banks has the guts to invest in btc, because banks do not have their own money to invest with, most of their money came from investors and they dont have the right to play it with a third party investments aside from property and stocks investments, not unless their client dont know where their money being invested. And because btc price is unpredictable, they are not quite sure if it is a wise decision to invest.
714  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can a newbie join some project campaign? on: November 15, 2017, 03:19:59 AM
You  have to read threads about forum ranking, most of the campaign projects are for jr member and up, rank up at least a jr member or higher then read the rules on every campaign projects so you won't get banned in any forum or projects,  read also some threads about bounty, while you are not applied yet in any campaign.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future? on: November 14, 2017, 11:50:00 PM
Yahoo was the first (?) search engine at the time when Internet started.  It was the pioneer in its field.  In the late 90's its market cap reached to a high closed to $120B.   Three and a half years after Yahoo started, Google came out and gradually took away market share from Yahoo.

After 22 years, Verizon bought it for $4.8B.  Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future and got beat up by new competitions?

What do you think?  Please provide your reason(s) to support your view.

Nothing is certain in this world, though yahoo is much different than bitcoin, but if you are talking about surviving conpetitions, i guess bitcoin has an advantage, the history of bitcoin from its begginning up to present really manifest its tough and firm stature in this kind of competition,  its a work in progress and as time passes, more and more people are getting into bitcoin.
716  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: November 14, 2017, 11:19:06 PM
For me it depends on how you wanted to earn bitcoin, if you are into trading, definitly you need a lot of skills in that field, to be a good trader, if you are into gambling, then you need luck, for signature campaigns, you need hardwork, the bottomline is, you dont need to be a degree holder to earn bitcoin, you just need skills, luck and  a lot of hardwork. If you are a degree holder, that's a bonus and surely a great tools to earn more.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: November 14, 2017, 11:04:34 PM
I could'nt  imagine how much is the price of bitcoin after a century, it may be tripled, doubled or maybe not circulating anymore because im sure that online community will create a new crypto or they will develop a better version of bitcoin, much tougher than any other crypto currencies, a hundred year is too long, even a second, the price flactuates, and creates an impact to our wallet
718  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: November 14, 2017, 09:50:42 AM
The rising community that is into bitcoin means more people are interested in earning and wanted to get rich, more investors means more profit for the bitcoin holders. As we can see, bitcoin is now low but if you are correct with your assesment, now is the time that bitcoin is in transition to prosper
719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Am I late ? on: November 14, 2017, 09:37:42 AM
Of course its never too late, with the low rate today, i think most people here in this forum will agree that now is the best time to invest your 2 bitcoin, just let this month pass then you can wait for bitcoin to regain its momentum until the end of this year, your investments sits but then kick off before new year.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Bitcoin is in the schools for students to explore on: November 14, 2017, 09:27:34 AM
This is a good step, of course knowledge is the key to success,  teaching bitcoin in schools makes awareness of the populariy of bitcoin and gives info on the positivity of doing business with bitcoin, i hope my country will do the same, it wil surely help on our unemployment rate problem.
