1361  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "one of the largest crypto scandals to date" on: March 19, 2023, 11:48:35 PM
I read about this story a few days ago, and it's amazing that so many people were victims. It's similar to another "trading bot" that's being advertised by some folks, know as royal IQ. people are going to get scammed one day again.

However, why would people invested in trading bot they have no idea of or even making their investigation before investing in it or started using the app.
If people are stupid enough to invest in Ponzi schemes they have no idea how they make the money, then trading bots shouldn't be an exception
1362  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit.com Coming back to Bitcointalk, Solving all the issues. on: March 19, 2023, 11:24:44 PM
Edit: But also at a glance, you can clearly see how 1xbit.com is diffferent to 1xbit1.com right I hope? I'ts a clear scam link...
I think it's a mirror link of 1xbit.com
I have seen it several times before. Maybe the person trying to impersonate ran out of usernames to use as 1xbit have so many user profiles here that have been tagged before.
1xbit_official said the address is correct in this quoted post.

Again changed and cant login. Im trying to login in the link 1xbit1.com . Is this link correct?
(1xbit.com) In this one i cant even enter in the web as it says "Error the web cant be displayed)
The address is correct, i've asked my colleague from security to double-check if everything is alright.
There are restrictions placed on your account.
1363  Other / Archival / Re: Question for forum moderators on: March 19, 2023, 10:50:28 PM
Bitcoin wiki moderator, I wonder how did you know about that? You registered in 2018, he was last active in 2015. Were you here with your main?
What if he used the forum search button or ninjastic.space and skimmed through the past posts? Does this still mean he has a main?

Even if he has a main, is it against the forum rules?

I also wonder what happened with the asylum moderator FlyingHellfish, anyone knows?
As far as I know, he just went mute.
1364  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ✅Metaspins.com SCAM✅ Site Dont put your BTC There!! NOT pay 9500 USD winnings on: March 17, 2023, 11:48:10 PM
Thanks to the cooperation with the Websites owners we have one more confirmation, that our decision is 100% legit and honest:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/metaspins-not-paying-out-9500-in-winnings.99358/
https://casino.guru/metaspins-casino-the-player-s-account-got-blocked
At least this is a good development where we get to know who was right and who was wrong as per the ruling by other trusted mediators. Now I wonder what OP will have to say about this if at all he tries to log in again.

Some people do try to play victim even when they know that they did something wrong.
1365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Feel Inadequate or Inspired After Watching These Types of Traders Content on: March 17, 2023, 10:59:41 PM
Most of them are cons, scammers, shills looking for views from YouTube and probably get paid to shill more shitcoins to newbies... There is no way I can feel inspired by such kinds of people. The good thing is that it's so easy to identify such con artists just by looking at the way they present their videos

Most will want you to join using their referral links or join a certain trade coaching class for a fee. If someone is rich as they claim, then why are they looking to earn a few dollars using referral links?
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi - How do I remove the "Approve to spend" contract on: March 17, 2023, 10:43:28 PM
I believe you are using Metamask, Right?

If so, then this article might be helpful - https://support.metamask.io/hc/en-us/articles/6055177143579-How-to-customize-token-approvals-with-a-spending-cap

Do I just send all my left over USDT to a new address or do I need to make a completely new wallet and send it there?
This won't be necessary if you set the spending cap as instructed.
1367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All in one charting software? on: March 17, 2023, 10:36:28 PM
I mostly stick to tradingview because of the very many publicly available scripts (strategies and indicators) so even on a free version, Tradingview is just good. There are also there alternatives, but they also need you to pay for certain features. Check them out

These are mostly crypto leaning charting tools

1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 17, 2023, 09:52:05 PM
Liverpool was an easy win for Real madrid and just winning with just one goal is not good enough for me considering Real Madrid's current standing, Liverpool has been in a steady decline lately and their performance has been nothing close to that of real Madrid so I rather want to see real Madrid vs Asernal battle.
Why is it not good enough?

You wanted them to keep scoring 4–5 goals every match?
Come on, this is Champion's League and not some farmer's league. Besides, teams also usually play by controlling the game such that they can reserve energy for the upcoming matches. The champion's league match against Liverpool was not the end.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 17, 2023, 09:33:05 PM
Despite the fact that it can be worked with, I am very certain there will be an upset in the predictions. Even though Manchester City is predicted to win the cup, they have not been consistent in the league or other cups.
https://i.imgur.com/J969Niu.jpg
They always hype up Manchester City season in season out, but well all know how it always ends. When it comes to winning UCL, pedigree also matters a lot, and City don't have any. I wouldn't be surprised if Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Inter Milan or AC Milan lifts this one.

I will be here to remind people of how Manchester City bottled it up once again   Grin
1370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi nakamotos board game on: March 17, 2023, 09:12:48 PM
Go back to that Reddit post and share the link here. Satoshi never talked about anything to do with inventing a board game. The problem is probably you're believing anything you see on the internet. There are so many fraudsters out there who try as much as possible to use Satoshi's name when promoting their projects because they know that some noobs with jump into the wagon just because they mentioned satoshi.

I was given access to the account (there was no notification about this in the mail. I managed to log into my account). I started doing verification. I passed the 1st and 2nd level KYC (ID and online selfie), but the 3rd level with the address was not accepted from me.

Today I decided to try to confirm the address again and upload another statement, but access to my account has already been blocked again. And I got a email. that I didn't pass verification. That is, you think that I have passed the level with an online selfie, but for some reason the verifier could not confirm my address and you are closing my account? Is this normal? Please help me.

I am ready to provide all the documents you require. Once again, I do not know for what reason your verifier did not confirm my residential address.

I do not know how to contact you to complete the verification. In an online chat, they say to write by email. But there is no response from you to my email of March 2. Please help me
Weird.

They should at least let you access the account and be able to upload your documents for level 3 verification. They could just block the part for withdrawals, deposits or betting

What is the point of completely shutting off a user from an account?
1372  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: March 16, 2023, 11:27:12 PM
And probably most of active campaigns would like to see Chipmixer participants wearing their signatures. So, they would need to raise their budget a bit if they want some quality advertising.
Increasing budgets maybe in terms of increasing number of slots, but increasing pay rates because new members from a previous campaign are available? I doubt. I don't think they can do that. In fact, some members have already been taken up with the current rates.

SinBad and YoMix campaigns have increased their slots for some participants who have high post quality, currently Royse777 has selected some participants from Chipmixer campaigns.

It is possible that other campaigns will also add a bigger slot with the budget provided.
Livecasino.io are also considering a possibility of reshuffling the campaign and probably adding some more extra spots
1373  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase to Suspend Binance USD (BUSD) Trading on: March 16, 2023, 10:30:15 PM
Btw, Im just curious whom do you guys support if you wanna have stables (just for trading purpose)? USDC or BUSD ? Im pretty confused but I do use binance myself here currently.
If someone really forced me to decide, I would probably chose USDT over either of those as it seems least likely to go down. At this point, having anything in stablecoins is very risky, especially if you are hodling it for more than a day or two.
You just wrote what exactly was on my mind. If I was to use a stablecoin, I would rather opt for the oldest stablecoin that has gone through the thick and thin of criticism and maybe DAI if an exchange I am going to use supports it.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 16, 2023, 10:19:13 PM
I need some education from someone here on the actual allowed number of substitutes per team in this competition

Arsenal how now has 6 substitutions

Code:
9' In: B. White Out: T. Tomiyasu

21' In: R. Holding Out: W. Saliba

46' In: L. Trossard Out: G. Jesus

65' In: T. Partey Out: Jorginho

66' In: B. Saka Out: R. Nelson

101' In: M. Ødegaard Out: F. Vieira

I always thought the maximum was 5 substitutions.

1375  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: my expirience on site Trustdice.com SCAM on: March 16, 2023, 09:22:12 PM
This could mean two things, IMO, either CG internally --maybe by email-- asked OP to provide another evidences because the other ones are invalid, or OP voluntarily provided a video as evidence like what some of us here suggested.
I hope they do ask for a copy of documents from the complainant too alongside other things like video proof, otherwise if they relay only on documents provided by the party that's saying that they are forged, then there is nothing that could stop them from forwarding manipulated docs just in order to win the case
1376  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Localbitcoins.com exit scam - scammer CEO Sara Leppänen on: March 16, 2023, 09:05:03 PM
Be aware of the scam company Localbitcoins and their scammers like Sara Leppänen.
What happen to me I did not logged in for a long time and then LBC put me in a holiday modus and dont activate my account again.
How much was in the account at the time it was locked?

Did you try to talk to support? What did they tell you?

How to get all information about the owners of that scam company, for example Sara Leppänen is it possible to find our her ID?
You think her ID is just on public display for you to access at any time you want? So if you got her ID, what's your plan? Does it help you get back the locked account?
1377  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need to receive satoshi from a big wallet on: March 15, 2023, 11:59:12 PM
You are probably chasing wind here, my friend.

If someone had that much Bitcoin, they are definitely not here trying to read through every newly made post and even if they were, most would obviously want to keep the Bitcoin possessions private.

Good luck.
1378  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbet closed my account without paying the balance in my account. on: March 15, 2023, 11:50:28 PM
The way you described your case is a little bit complex

For starters, How much did you deposit on the site?
How much did you stake?
How much did you win?
How much have they let you withdraw so far?

Did they give you any reason as why they decided to lock your account?

I sent him negative feedback and also created a flag against him.

You can support it so that when newbies or guest see his announcements, they will see a warning about dealing with him cautiously

Next time please use and escrow service or at least deal with only trusted members.
