962  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert - rollcat.io on: July 18, 2023, 12:54:09 PM
Their representative in this forum was active recently (July 17, 2023, 02:41:45 PM) but said nothing regarding the situation. I am very sure he saw the complaints and negative tag I left him and now a day later, the website is also offline. This does not look good.
Who else thinks this is an exit scam.

At this point, I believe creating a trust flag is okay.
963  Other / Meta / Re: Spam Neon Link on: July 17, 2023, 11:46:29 PM
There have been "projects" that require people to spam the name on Bitcointalk. It's kinda ironic: Bitcointalk allows bounty spammers to get paid for spamming millions of posts on social media, and once in a while someone does it here with much lower numbers.
Because here in the forum, even the bounty hunters themselves don't have any or enough Bitcoins/Ether to buy the shitcoins they are advertising. The other members who would have some funds to buy, in most cases ignore the altcoin boards and are completely aware that most of those shitcoins are not worthy risking their money for. So the best option is to advertise out in social media, where they can easily fish out ignorant newbies to buy their tokens that have no value.
964  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profiting self trade or AI on: July 17, 2023, 11:35:29 PM
Will you prefer to trade with AI or you prefer to do the trading yourself?
Definitely trading by myself.
AI is just overhyped, and some of those bots don't even use any form of AI. It's just used to hype up people to buy the bots. If AI was perfect and flawless. Do you think the developers would sell it, knowing that they could mint unlimited profits using it? I guess not.

Another question, What happens when over 90 of traders use AI to trade? Who will win? Who will lose?  Grin
965  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Am I Being Scammed By A Prominent YouTuber? on: July 16, 2023, 11:31:52 PM
OP has gone offline since 27th June after posting this scam accusation, did he leave after hearing a fake story or not. One thing I am surprised to see is newbies who are victims of thousands of dollar scams, they come here and complain, this means they use different mediums before doing these deals silently because they never post asking for suggestions about any website before depositing money. OP has not provided any relevant evidence here to prove his allegation. So let's wait and see if he ever comes online and gives any reply here.
He has been creating other threads using his alt accounts, but the funny thing is he still thinks he wasn't scammed

Check these threads to get a clear picture;
1 - Using Crypto Trading Bot
2 - Having Difficulties Withdrawing Funds From Crypto Website
966  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert - rollcat.io on: July 15, 2023, 11:53:55 PM
I advise you to follow the appropriate format:

Scam Report Format (Use it to make scam reports properly)

then you must create a flag against them, this will make it easier to support your flag and leave negative feedback on their account, I assume that they created this casino with the intention of cheating and stealing people's money, I come to this conclusion because they are a new casino and in their chat there are many complaints that can be seen here:
I am going to leave negative feedback on their profile and if they don't come around to resolve the accusation, then it will stay as a warning to other forum members. A trust flag can wait for now, but in case someone is willing to open it, then I will add my support afterward.

If they are not here to scam, then this is pure negligence from the casino owner(s)
967  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you have opinion about Bitcorse exchange? on: July 14, 2023, 03:32:04 PM
Hi all,
Recently, someone recommended me a fresh exchange from Hong Kong.
Why should you accept a small random exchange with no history recommended from someone, yet we have far much better reputable exchanges?

I did some small digging, and it turns out that the person behind the exchange is even too lazy, and they just copied and pasted their terms of service from another exchange furxe.com which is now offline (archived terms of service) and they also copied the terms from Binance but forgot to edit out "Binance" in most parts of the terms  Grin

If that does not convince you that the exchange is up to no good intentions, then I don't know what will.
968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLACKROCK SPOT ETF DISCUSSION on: July 14, 2023, 01:56:59 PM
The US is playing double gaming at this stage. At one side SEC Charges on Binance and Coinbase and on the other side SEC are in the favor of approving Blackrock spot ETF. Let go a little deep in this matter. When People Withdraw funds from both these  big exchanges then the trader will use this fund in other sources but the US doesn't want these funds to go off shore (out of the US). Now the US wanted an alternative system for crypto exchange so if anyone wants to invest in btc then instead of using crypto exchange, the alternative way of buying given to these traders.
Yeah, this is obvious. They don't like the idea of people buying Bitcoin of p2p exchanges or some "uncooperative" centralized exchanges and keeping it in their non-custodial wallets (self-custody)
They also don't like people using Bitcoin as an alternative payment system or investment option

So now they want to bring in fake exchange tradable funds that people can buy under their watch.

Pros:[/b]
If Blackrock is able to launch the Bitcoin ETF successfully, many of its competitors(JP MORGAN, Fidelity and many others) will also apply and then big Banks will also apply.

This will increase awareness of BTC among big traders because the stock media will share this
I don't see this as an advantage. What's the point of traders being aware of Bitcoin if they won't even use it as it was intended? All they will be looking at is the price and the actual way it works.

Bitcoin will not remain totally decentralized and the Government will be able to control it.
How?

By hijacking all the nodes and miners?
969  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] | Best Bitcoin Mixer | Low fees | Fully automated on: July 14, 2023, 12:29:31 PM
I'm still not sure about one thing, if I am doing a transaction using Yomix service for the first time, what code should I enter where it mentions using Mixing code?
I checked the FAQ and they said, I will get a code after the first mix. And later mentioned using that code. I still don't understand this matter basically how I can get that code.
https://www.talkimg.com/images/2023/07/14/ZVqV1.png
When it's your first time to mix coins on Yomix, you don't need the mixing code as you are just a fresh user. Just enter your Bitcoin addresses and create an order. In the next page you will see your mixing order details including your new mixing code which can save and use for your future coin mixing sessions on the platform.

The mixing code helps to avoid you getting back the same coins/outputs you might have sent to Yomix in the past when mixing future transactions.
970  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Am I Being Scammed By A Prominent YouTuber? on: July 14, 2023, 12:16:23 PM
Their post history also shows similarities in posting patterns so yeah I'm very much doubting the authenticity of this story as well.
I also noticed the similar posting patterns, which suggests that he is the same person. In the other thread, he was pretty confident that his withdrawal had been approved and had to wait for only 2-3 for the money to arrive into his bank account.
However, today I asked to withdraw $10,000 and it's been approved.
It will take 2 to 3 days to get to my bank.
Because I was able to withdraw $10,000 back to my bank. If they were scammers, would they let me do that?

Now he has waited for over 10 days but the so-called approved withdrawal has not materialized into any money getting sent to his bank account
After 10 days of submitting the withdrawal request, I get the message that they are having difficulties with their department. However, the withdrawal will be complete in 10 more days.
The 10 days have passed and no withdrawal.

And I guess he still thinks he has not been scammed
Is this normal?
Now I'm going to have to create a new bank account at a different bank.
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentina Launches it's First Bitcoin Futures Contract, Brazil To Follow.. on: July 13, 2023, 11:42:28 PM
Please beware that Bitcoin Futures contracts are not Bitcoin. Futures contracts are just derivatives (more like tokens) that have a price that is close to the spot market price of Bitcoin. Therefore, people actually trading them on those platforms are not trading the real Bitcoin and this does not mean increased Bitcoin adoption. So there is no big deal in my opinion.

If it was news like "Argentina and Brazil adopt or legalize Bitcoin" now that would definitely get me and most of us here excited.
972  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Trust Wallet Alternative (multi currency) on: July 13, 2023, 11:26:43 PM
Guarda wallet is also a noncustodial, open-sourced wallet that supports 50+ coins also with purchase features with multiple options so it is a good alternative for trust wallet but keep in mind it is not safe as other types of wallet since the device we install this wallet has to be connected with internet to access the assets which make them vulnerable to attacks.
It's not open source bro

Just because they said it in the past does not mean it's true. Such outdated articles on the internet can be so misleading

But when you try to look for the source code, you will end up getting nothing about it.

If in doubt, Walletscrutiny.com can be helpful.
973  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GG.BET scam on: July 13, 2023, 10:54:13 PM
They have 222 complaints on CasinoGuru and the user reviews on CasinoGuru are also not that good either. You can check them here

Try and also make a complaint over there, it could pressure them into getting you back your money as there will be a third party mediator - https://casino.guru/complaints/create
974  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The BEST Bitcoin price ticker widget for Windows PC. (Recommend) on: July 13, 2023, 10:37:32 PM
I have some issues I want to post here that could be worked on

1. My bittab keeps resetting my preferences to default sometime when it auto launches on starting up the computer. I have to go through the process of choosing my preferences all over again like application settings, widget display settings, template settings etc
Could we please have away of having the current setting saved for good?

2. Twitter feed is now blank. It was a good place for updates and announcements about the project

975  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Having Difficulties Withdrawing Funds From Crypto Website. on: July 13, 2023, 10:22:44 PM
OP has been advised by several members in the other threads he opened asking about the scam website, but I don't if he has even read the replies or is still in a stage of denial given that the amount he deposited is enormous

In this thread, a number of members gave him some reasonable answers - Using Crypto Trading Bot

Looking at his posting style, he is probably the same person who posted here and got more than enough views of members, but I think he felt they were lying - Am I Being Scammed By A Prominent YouTuber?
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin documentaries that worth to watch on: July 12, 2023, 11:58:19 PM
Crytopia, it was a pretty interesting documentary that I watched sometime back when it aired in Al-Jazeera. Seeing it on such a channel actually excited me, knowing that it was going to be watched by the masses. Though on Al-Jazeera it's about 47 mins which means some info might have been trimmed off.

The Others I think I haven't watched. I might get some time to watch them as well.

977  Economy / Reputation / Re: I'm tired and angry about Timelord's behavior and his alt/puppy on: July 12, 2023, 11:42:29 PM
As far as I can tell, your intention was probably not to scam with all those multiple loans you made. If you were to do so, you probably would have done it a long time ago, but that ban evasion part is disappointing to be honest. That will be for the Mods to judge and decide, though.

I also think It would be in your best interest if you just avoid the feuds and dramas, they never materialize into something good. If someone is trying to nag you. Just ignore them. Do your thing.
978  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert - rollcat.io on: July 12, 2023, 11:20:36 PM
It looks like a casino being run by one person, that customer support is awful! Who even handles customer support issues in a chatbox? There should be something like maybe a live chat for only customer support. All I can say is, avoid this new and less reputable casinos until they are proven legit and reliable.

Let's wait for some few days and see if they will resolve the problem.
979  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Visa Virtual Card 1000 usd valid only in US on: July 12, 2023, 10:28:03 PM
is this legal visa for international? or only usa?
can you give information issued??
What? Are you blind?

OP said that he is selling the card because he can't use it, as it's valid only in the US. Is that so hard to understand?
980  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: For sale iPhone 14 Pro Max, Deep Purple, 1TB - $900 on: July 12, 2023, 10:17:52 PM
It is a pity. Definitely could be a good deal
Perhaps too good to be true

iPhone 14 Pro Max sale $700 USD? are you kidding? where are you shipping this iphone? need custom?
OP has been inactive since January 28, 2023, a few days after making the post and also got painted red. So I am not sure what else has surprised you here;
Xprim777    2023-03-18    Reference    Selling a iPhone 14 Pro Max, Deep Purple, 1TB for $700, no invoice/no documents/no escrow.
I think trading with this person is high-risk
