1141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many mixers all of a sudden? on: May 21, 2023, 11:28:16 PM
I'm not sure when Mixero was launched, but they created their own thread on this forum on November 2022.
June 2022 according to their domain registration date.

And then there is [banned mixer] probably the oldest of them all whose journey started in January 2016. They don't even bother advertising. Perhaps because they already have a huge customer base that has been loyal to them even during the times of stiff competition from Chipmixer.
1142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets on: May 21, 2023, 10:38:21 PM
I won’t suggest Bitcoins for scalping. As scalping is done to make quick profits in short amount of time,

I don’t think scalping is a good idea in any way, shape or form. I don’t think short term trading aka day trading is a good idea.
Scalping is actually great if you know what you are doing and have good risk management discipline. Different scalping technics also work well in sideways markets, and Bitcoin market has been about that lately.

The biggest problem to me with scalp trading is the screen time, It takes a lot of time and maybe the trading fees, they become significant if the leverage is so high with the take profit set on small price movements. For the screen time problem, I think it's much better when one has a scalping bot set up.
1143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What position you make more profit, buy or sell? on: May 19, 2023, 11:52:11 PM
Honestly, I find the sell (short position) so much easier than the buy (long) position and most of my trades are shorts even in an uptrend.

Reason is, if it's not a bull run, long positions take time to build profits but when the price is dropping, we do get long and quick red candles in a short time  Wink
1144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets on: May 19, 2023, 11:30:29 PM
What pros and cons do you see when scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets such as NASDAQ.
What assets do you recommend for scalping other than Bitcoin and what platform to use for those assets?

You posted in the wrong board, perhaps that's why you are not getting the required responses in time. Move topic to Trading discussion board.

pros and cons do you see when scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets such as NASDAQ.
Pros:

1. Bitcoin and other crypto assets are more volatile, makes scalping easier
2. Bitcoin and other crypto markets are always open regardless of the time or day, unlike stocks

cons:
1. Volatility can also drain your account in minutes if you don't have a good risk management strategy.

Is it possible to trade NASDAQ on bingx or bitget? in copytrading I am following a trader on bingx who is trading USTECH/USD but I don't see it as a pair in my perpetual futures account.
it's possible to traded NASDAQ on bingx. Bitget/ No

But do you see any NASDAQ trading pair?

NASDAQ is a stock, bingx and bitget are crypto exchanges. If you want to trade NASDAQ then you proceed to the exchanges or brokers that deal with the US stock market and one of them is etoro. ~> https://www.etoro.com/discover/markets/stocks/exchange/nasdaq
NASDAQ can be trade on Bingx
1145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many mixers all of a sudden? on: May 19, 2023, 10:59:23 PM
Maybe you weren't so observant back then, but there were a fair number of mixers around before Chipmixer came into the picture and even after they established themselves. The difference is they weren't advertising so much in the forum like Chipmixer did. Bestmixer's and bitblender's stay was short-lived, but they were two of the few mixers that tried to compete with Chipmixer while advertising here in the forum. After their demise, Chipmixer remained dominant until recently.

Yomix among other mixers were operational some months before Chipmixer was shutdown.
1146  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I want to migrate from Trust Wallet to another wallet. on: May 19, 2023, 10:48:02 PM
1- Which wallet offers similar features and security?
Futures?

In terms of being a multicurrency wallet, maybe unstoppable wallet could be good. In terms of security, I prefer open source to closed source wallets. Unstoppable wallet maybe?

2- I staked some Tron coins in my Trust Wallet, if I import my seed phrase to other wallets, then What happens to them? They staked automatically to the new wallet or I must unstake them before using a new wallet?
Nothing changes since the staking is done on the blockchain, not the wallet software.

3- Can I use two wallets simultaneously?
yeah, though, it exposes you more to security threats. It's like keeping 2 keys to your house in two different locations in your compound
1147  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I GOT SCAMMED. Has anyone been able to withdraw money from Betflip.io? on: May 19, 2023, 09:43:56 PM
So I got scammed by Betflip. My fault for not doing my due diligence and all that... All it took was one google search to see that they are VERY SHADY.
I guess that's a lesson learned

Always value your money, always do due diligence and if in doubt make a post in a community like this and ask for opinions about a service. You will get the much-needed help.

They're not answering emails, I think they maybe blocked me from live chat etc.

My question is has anyone played at beflip.io and has actually been able to withdraw any money?
The casino has been scamming people for over two years now. I don't think anyone sensible here uses it,

Look at their Trustpilot. 63% are negative 1-star reviews https://www.trustpilot.com/review/betflip.io
1148  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Vastlikes.com - Scam on: May 19, 2023, 08:49:35 PM
I talked to the Livesupport after i used this page a second time by mistake.. The supporter was not able to find any of both orders i made (i wasn't sure which email address i had used but i was able to tell him the order date and to which account the followers have been sent to) and so he asked me for an actual mail address to send it to the responsible person, who will use it to send me updates about this case.

But anyway, i did never receive this email (also not in spam). I will send it to you via pm and update this topic later.

EDIT:
User 'vastlikes' has not chosen to allow messages from newbies. You should post in their relevant thread to remind them to enable this setting.
You are making it hard for us here

Representatives of 1xbit SOLVE THIS PROBLEM

Greetings Community, 1xbit. He wants to cheat me on the bonuses that I earned playing with them, I have accumulated 23 thousand bonuses, 1xbit refers to the rule that they can refuse anyone to accept bets. But I'm not going to bet, I want to exchange bonuses for money and withdraw them. The support service will refer me to the rule, we can not accept bids. Ok, just let me change the bonuses and that's it! It's 450 dollars
You are wasting your time

These 1xbit scammers are shameless and won't do anything about it. You just join the hundreds of 1xbit victims in forum and out there. I still wonder why you have continued using a casino that has been proven to be a scam several times in the past
1150  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: May 18, 2023, 11:32:35 PM
I am a BFG holder. I have about 10k+ BFG. A few days ago my mobile turned off automatically. I had google 2FA enabled on my Betfury account. After repairing the mobile, I see that everything has been deleted. I have not recorded my google 2fa private anywhere. Right now I can't access my Betfury account. I tried to contact the team many times but failed. I am currently requesting the team to remove google 2FA from my account. So that I can access my account.
How long have you been waiting after contacting them?

I think you should give them so time or a few days to respond on the best course of action, but I think after some investigation and perhaps making you do some KYC verification. Your account is likely going to be unlocked.

Lastly, avoid using Google Authenticator, there are far better Authenticators.
1151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A new era of trading? on: May 18, 2023, 11:16:10 PM
No sure EU shares the same sentiment as the European banks, especially not after I read some articles a couple of days back.

1. EU ministers agree on tougher tax rules for crypto transactions
2. The European Union has approved the regulation of cryptocurrencies – licenses for mining, trading and storage are required for all companies

Meanwhile, in the UK, they want to treat investing in crypto as gambling  Grin

1152  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Where is the private key on Electrum Android? on: May 18, 2023, 10:58:51 PM
There have been a number of changes in the recent electrum versions, and it looks like they are pushing users to rely on seeds as away of backing up the wallet rather than using private keys.

If you are using the mobile device alone

You can download (https://iancoleman.io/bip39/) and generate the private keys offline using the tool.
1153  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Coinbase Wallet (Android) Authentication Failed on: May 18, 2023, 10:49:00 PM
I could try Helium Backup over adb and try to backup the app data of Coinbase Wallet and restore on his new phone, but I doubt it will work.
Try and see

If you could manage to extract the file or folder from the root system of the old device and then copy it into the new device that has also been rooted, replacing the new Coinbase wallet folder. Maybe you could have a chance. My question is how did you guys encrypt the wallet? Through password? Pin? Fingerprint?
1154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading indicator ! You need to try! on: May 18, 2023, 10:27:02 PM
Best trading indicator?

What is your indicator's winrate for example after back testing it?

I am more that certain it isn't the "best'' otherwise you would be selling it. You would be able to make lots of money off it alone.
1155  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Ledger wallet on: May 18, 2023, 04:53:30 PM
It looks like the tweet was deleted or the link is wrong. Also, it is better to move the topic to the hard wallets section.
Lol, the deleted it because it cause a complete backlash from the community

They made a new one
Part 1 of this two-part Tweet is getting taken out of context.

To elaborate, code can be written to make it do whatever you want it to.

But with Ledger firmware, there are layers of protection and governance in place to ensure that no attacker (even internal) has the ability to publish malicious firmware.

Ledger’s security design and threat model ensures that your private keys are handled with your security in mind.
https://donjon.ledger.com/threat-model/

But they have still failed to answer the more pressing questions.

I can't feel disappointed why these services chose to ruin their reputation after building it for years.
In short. Getting greedy for more money.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO on: May 18, 2023, 02:19:21 PM
That's not fear of missing out if you didn't buy any PEPE coin after the pump. FOMO becomes much more meaningful if a trader rushes to buy a coin at the top after the pump and then, shortly afterward, the coins dumps.

But then, there are still more opportunities out there, don't focus and regret on the missed opportunities. Always look forward  Wink

1157  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SPORTSBET.io accuse me with multi accounting and DONT PAY MY WINNINGS on: May 17, 2023, 11:56:49 PM
Hello my holydarkness,

TO explain myself correctly sportsbet.io has operating in Turkey and giving links in Turkey via telegram bot . SO using vpn is not a illegal act on playing on those site. Please consider this on my status.
I am not sure if you understand the whole situation. I get it because it involves some money so definitely, you could be going through some stage of maybe denial but looking at the whole situation and how you said that you used a VPN service. That right there is a breach of their Terms of service, especially when they say that they don't want you to use a VPN on their site. It doesn't matter if they allow residents from Turkey to use the service or not.

Secondly, VPNs are always used by abusers. So some sites automatically identify the linked IP address of abusers or multi-accounters and ban them. Unfortunately for you, you might have been an innocent user but got caught up in the crossfire.

If you are lucky, they might have sympathy on you but in general, they have the upper hand to deny you the winnings.

Great guide

However, you could have missed out one of the tools that was created by one of our dedicated members, bitmover who has taken his time to make sure certain access to on-chain data and tasks can be simplified  Wink

I found this tool very fascinating - https://bitcoindata.science/plot-your-transaction-in-mempool.html it comes in handy for those who have no access to the desktop version of electrum. Mobile version has very limited features.

1160  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] | Best Bitcoin Mixer | Low fees | Fully automated on: May 16, 2023, 11:58:56 PM
I don't see a way in which mixers can have it easier since, they use same network as the rest of the bitcoin community. Compounding coins comes with mo advantage as, the number of confirmations would play a role too.
In other words, you want a mixer to work like an exchange, whereby they combine transactions in order to save fees?

You do realize this can make the job easier for Chainalysis companies and anyone trying to snoop people's transactions with all the co-spending happening in a certain pattern. I am not expert in different mixing techniques, but my intuition tells me this can mess up the much intended privacy.
