@Madz Since this is the first day of week 4, do you know if the campaign will be extended beyond the original time frame or should we remove our signatures after week 4 has ended?

You still need to improve the quality of your posts and also try to check your facts before you post. Some of your posts are on page 12, this will only increase spam and nobody will read them. This is a big no-no. You need to expand your knowledge about the crypto currency world in order to create quality posts and get merit for them. Try reading more and avoid responding to trivial questions.

I'm trying to mine this coin but I keep getting my IP banned on the official pool: http://wtippool.worktips.info/ for some reason. I'm mining using my CPU and xmrig on port 3333, approx hash rate is 300 h/s. Can you please help?

Good catch! I haven't noticed that and it's been some time since I've started this thread. Need to get my eyes checked. Thanks for posting here and letting us know, I've updated the link to the correct one.

I would recommend starting to mine with your CPU first to better understand what's it all about, rather than just starting to buy expensive GPUs and realizing that you had missing information when starting out that caused you to loose money. You can check this thread for more information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2891680.0If you still want to go forward with buying GPUs, you can check this website to see what kind of profitability you can expect: http://whattomine.com/

Jeezz, I'll start again,
When I originally posted I didnt want to post every little thing id done or checked to clog the thread up but I guess I have too ! My post was a quick summary of what id changed to fix my problem, nothing more nothing less. So I do sincerely apologize for not providing every little single piece of information !
My h/s dropped by at least 70h/s from a normal average of 185-195 h/s dependent on which miner I used, be that xmrig or xmr-stak, a normal max around 200-202 on stak There was no reason for this, nothing had changed on the pc, no hardware changes, no softwares change's, nothing running in the background like windows update ! And yes i'm more than aware that even opening a browser can drop your h/s but thanks sooo much for pointing that out !
So I rebooted, restarted a miner, still the same. Stopped the miner Swapped pools Swapped miners Nope problem still the same. Checked internet speed, no problems Ran a memory test. Rebooted still the same Ran IntelProcessor Diagnostic Tool No problems found. So then I remebered something id read, so I thought what the hell its worth a shot, So I changed the page files settings from the windows defaults (just to be clear, as per the above post) rebooted once more and started the miner once more and guess what, it only went and worked. And to add to my surprise the max speed went up by 5 to 207, woohoooo !
So to state again increasing the page file size worked for what ever caused the problem I had in the first place.
Ive probabily missed something that id checked and I know I havent gone in depth on how to change the page file size but if you feel the need to try im sure google will help you out with that
Ok, now this make more sense You didn't mention what was your previous drop other than it was up by 5 h/s. Thanks for bringing more clarity to this. You don't need to be worried on getting this thread clogged up, it's here to help people. More details the better. I've also checked my page file size but for some reason it always was more that what windows recommends. Although I might have modified it in the past for something else.

Alongside posting in decent English (for people to understand what you're saying) another good point would be to make sure your posts are visible. So, posting in long & useless mega-threads (after page 5) will not get you any merits. You will just be increasing the spam and making the whole forum experience worse for everyone. You can also get more visibility by posting in review service threads like the one TMAN has open or you can also post in mine here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3212390.0

I think you could move this post to the Altcoin Announcements board. You will get more attention there. This board is reserved for speculations aka talks regrading the price of some altcoin. Good luck!

It's good to see that people are not repeating the same ETH, NEO, LTC rhetoric in these posts. We know these are good and well established, there's no need to increase the spam. Also, if you're looking for profits, you won't get that much when investing in these right now and you need to take a significant risk in buying them sine their price is high. I would propose 3 other altcoins with bright a future ahead of them: - MSR - 340% increase since last month, $0.87 now
- IOST - 100% increase since last month, $0.05 now
- IOTA - 56% increase since last month, $2.17 now
Check them out and do your own research.

The drop in h/s was on both xmrig and xmr-stack and huge pages has always been enabled ever since id used this particular pc to cpu mine Ive tried to find the post/article id originally read but I cant find it, I know it it wasn't on here, but if i do find it i'll defo post it All i can say is what I had done above, fixed my problem and in fact it slightly increased my max h/s on xmrig by 5 lol So, you got an increase of just 5 h/s? That's kind of negligible if you ask me. You could have had something else running in your system tray that gobbles up CPU resources and you might just did not notice it.

Maybe you will have more chances of success if you move your post in the Altcoin Marketplace section of this forum here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0 You should be able to find someone that has done it before very easily. Good luck!

Accounts Connected:Vinz1978, betchay22, Dothyrain. Proof:The proof is not that straight forward for these, I have noticed them because they posted in my post review service thread and it was an instant red flag for me because: - All accounts create posts in the Philippines local board
- They mainly have posts in the Politics & Society section to increase post count
- They posted in my thread 10 min one after each other
- They are using the same signature campaign
Too many coincidences, huh? Screen shot from my thread: https://imgur.com/8vWcLZuRelated Addresses:I have looked over their signature campaign ETH addresses but they haven't been paid yet to be able to connect their accounts for good: - 0x1e57FD07bB93258176030FBe203112a2A9822553

I appreciate the time you put into keeping this list updated I have an idea on how this could be improved: maybe you could add a new column to your table and also specify the algorithm used by the coins that forked. Some have switched to cn-heavy, cn-lite, cn-v7 and this place could be a good resource for that information as well
|
|
|
Although I like some of your ideas & posts you are mainly posting in spam mega-threads and I cannot award merits to people who increase the spam on these forums. Try to create your own threads or post in threads that are no longer than 5 pages. I think you can agree with me that nobody will read your post if it's on page 23 or 13.
|
|
|
Don't worry about that, you top 3 posts can also be 1 or 2 posts. I liked your suggestions on how to keep your altcoins safe and this would have been useful of the OP of that thread too. Merited You got your first merit Suggestion: You need to focus more on helping people out by providing good quality posts. This will get you merit and you will rank up fast. I would also like to see you concentrating less on bounties.

Please read the rules and how to apply, again. You are welcome to re-submit your application after you have read them. You still need to improve the overall quality of the posts you create. You need to acquire more knowledge about the crypto world and then contribute back here in the community in order to get merit.

Thanks for the suggestion I would look into it. It is really helpful and thanks for the concern.
You are welcome If you have any issues with the setup you can post in my CPU mining thread and I will try to help out with whatever I can. I think this is the best option for you at this point, you will learn a lot from this experience and after that you can make your own decision about buying new hardware, especially since the price of GPUs are very high nowadays.
