Karpeles is still alive because no one whacked him (yet). I remember reading some "final solution" threats 10 months ago. He might be in possession of a huge amount of CNY IOUs, waiting to buy at the bottom on Chinese exchanges. Then he might get his balls squeezed by certain unhappy customers, and might return some coins. |

I would say the dumping can start any minute now. Do you agree Tzupi? (because yesterday I thought this as well and was proven wrong by you ) 1h PSAR flipped to bearish, 1h MACD also crossed to red, but very short term a tiny spike is happening, after this the dumping should start. |

If I were the hacker, I wouldn't try to sell the tumbled coins on an exchange (with KYC) for quite some time, too risky.
Instead, I would send them to multiple altcoin exchanges (that have no KYC) and pump up some less traceable alts.
Another possibility is to sell some of the tumbled BTC to fences on localbitcoins.

Haha.. BitStamp must have blacklisted them by now and they must be tracking each and every address where these coins go. There is no easy escape for the thief.
I hope you are right. I had no funds (by chance) on Bitstamp when this shit happened, but I still feel worried. Can they follow the coins even if they get tumbled? Are miners and tumbling services willing to help Bitstamp? |

My bearish scenario also says THE bottom in 6 - 7 days, according to the speed of the latest events, but it's a moving target. And the bearish scenario requires (for start) some dumps during the next hours. Need to start dumping within minutes. Cannot go higher than 292. Otherwise we're (I am) fucked. At least there is already a nice fake wall Doesn't look like serious dumping will start within minutes, more like testing resistance at 290$ again. IMO it will take 2 - 3 hours for more consistent dumps. You were right What indicators do you use trade? That's what I'm looking at, in different time frames and intervals.  |

Well, I waited for this rebound until I got bored and the market looked bland, so I did something else, came back and saw this.  Is there a rule that if we don't post a trade for 48h our virtual accounts are charged 1%? |

The hacker is likely to start tumbling them, to prepare an amount for sale on localbitcoins. He might HODL a large % though.
