Sell at 229.44$
Cutting my losses. I didn't see this coming... Just a bit of missing buying power at the right time... Feels like dealing with a house of cards Roll Eyes

Buying pressure is MIA, I was expecting a recovery, but it's getting late... Roll Eyes

I know they are euro, I think you missed my point, this is a good entry point, there is room upwards and I suggested 193 euro is low.
1144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2015, 03:26:09 PM

Guys...we're going to hit $300 soon right?

I will be telling my grandchildren how I had a buy for 50 bitcoins sitting at 193 euros that sat there for half a day with many times being the highest bid.

They'll say I could have bought a whole spaceship with all of that.

193 euros seems a bit high to catch a falling knife, you might try 207. As for the spaceship, hahaha, permabulls can do better than CCMF and rocket pictures.

On Kraken you would have caught the falling knife. Grin

Buy at 239.37$

The wise one has spoken. Up we go. Buy buy buy

Ps my bank manager and wife are so pissed at me

The sometimes lucky one has spoken. And this seems to be a false breakout, but I believe support at 236$ should hold.
Your wife and bank manager are probably right, you shouldn't base your real trades on mine (in game), especially considering that I did bad trades.
The bullish scenario hasn't yet been invalidated, but it's not looking promising. Resistance is heavy, I doubt we'll get past 270$.

Finex shorters getting absolutely massacred (assuming this rise ISNT shorts closing)

I just checked the BTC swaps, just a small gradual decline yet. But more can come - I'll be happy, being long and waiting sooo long for this pump.

Good, panic buyers, finally the pump, now get this to 250+!

My position wasn't updated.

Found the backup, added to bookmarks, sorry about the rant.

Forum is back, but low buying window is gone. Angry
This game needs a fair approach for this shit, available to all players.
1153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short now = make lots of money? on: February 01, 2015, 12:23:12 AM
No, risk is too high, not worth it yet. If in the near future support won't hold and a downtrend will become apparent, then it may be worth and not risky.

I advised the OP against shorting, before the pump, but he did it anyway. Grin
If he wasn't slaughtered in the meantime, he should close his short soon (in a couple of hours or maybe tomorrow) for maximum profit.

panic sell at 224.96$
Considered it myself but I dont think this BFX wall is gonna go down. If it does go down, well, maybe I'll be selling $5 below ya lol

That wall was entirely eaten, but selling now may not be a good idea, I'd wait for the rebound.
There should be at least 8h between the rebound and a possibly lower local bottom for buy back.

Pump it is, I cancelled my low bids and panic bought at 230$. 1h PSAR flipped and at this pump rate 1h MACD should flip soon too.

things went from bearish to buyllish only because $5 variation in price Huh

The possible reversal wasn't confirmed, buying power too weak, despite 1h MACD flipping for a very short time on BFX, but not on BTCChina.
I exited my long position at a small loss, now waiting for a clear trend. If it's down I might have to cut my in-game losses.

1h MACD and PSAR still bearish, if this goes down again, it could reach as low as 190$.
However, if support holds, the Jan 17th scenario could repeat, a huge pump.

1159  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Trading Simulator] A fun & free Speculation Game - 61 participants on: January 30, 2015, 09:17:42 PM
Y'all got any of them trade cancellations  Cheesy? Finex being a meany again, tryin to dump right after I buy

BearFX has been steadily refilling asks/applying sell pressure all day. It's getting a bit old, really

I hoped to be able to exit today my in-game bull trapped position, but nope. Compared with the November Chinese pump and dump,
this one corrected slightly harsher, so it's not looking bullish medium term. But for now, to the moon major resistance!
To reach ~270 again, some nice buying needs to happen next hours, to cross 1h MACD and PSAR to positive, or my game loss will increase.
1160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 30, 2015, 07:02:35 PM
finex lower than Bitstamp?

Something is happening behind the curtains

Leverage

Longs are down a bit, shorts up a bit. Probably because the recovery is missing in action, and they fear another big dump.
