1361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Hotels to Surprise World Cup Fans with Bitcoin Payments on: March 31, 2018, 10:49:49 AM
Speaking specifically about Russia, you can buy air tickets and food for bitcoins in Russia.

Was not aware of this at all. Doesn't it cause problems in case of emergency booking ? Since bitcoins take 10-15 minutes to process these days, a lot of tickets will be booked by the time your payment goes through. Is it thus a good option to pay when there are only few tickets left. And what about the food, you eat food, make payment and then wait for 15 minutes for the payment to process ?
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: March 31, 2018, 10:42:03 AM
I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?

It is not because of high mining fee only. Alt coins are very cheap and you can get a number of coins even with small investment. When the coin rises by 30-40% in a week or so, you can cash all coins and book good profit. In case of bitcoins, you will have to wait for this growth to happen. This can take months or even more at current bitcoin price levels and thus experienced investors are preferring alt coins.
1363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to bitcoin in the near future? on: March 31, 2018, 10:37:01 AM
well I am still reading predictions about it rocketing towards the 80k by the end of this year...
As I have some, I surely hope they cleaned their crystal balls and are right all the way!

Increase in bitcoin price to 80k this year, I guess it will not happen on bitcoin. 80k is a very high value, at least bitcoin takes up to 2-3 years ahead and new bitcoin can reach 80k value.

Yes, $80K looks impossible now. I will be surprised if it reaches even $40000 now by the end of this year. Everything was going right for it but then we saw huge manipulation and prices rose to $20000. It was obvious that it would not be able to hold that level and then we saw huge drop in the prices. Now the prices are just roaming around $8000 mark. There has been only negative news for bitcoins this year like big investors cashing out their bitcoins and companies banning crypto ads.
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it the beginning of the end of bitcoin ? on: March 26, 2018, 01:24:42 PM
As we can see the price of bitcoin going down and lots of people loose its trust from the bitcoin...
Is it the beginning of the end of bitcoin ?

I have personally not lost trust on bitcoins but it has under performed in my opinion. I was expecting at least $20000 by March end but it failed to achieve this. I do not see this happening in next 3 months also. I am not worried about my investment but I suggested bitcoins to some of my friends. Now they are seeing the money in loss and they blame me for this suggestion. I have learned my lesson and will tell them about the possible price drops before investing any money.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from Bitcoin? on: March 26, 2018, 01:19:06 PM
As the title says, is passive earning from Bitcoin is possible nowadays. Let's face the facts mining is very much expensive for most of the users and I have encountered with many people who think they do not have any skill or do not want to learn any soon. There must be anyway by which you can make money by using most of your time by investing only once or by a little investment.

If you buy some bitcoins and leave it invested for 5-6 years, it will keep growing. The money is working for you in this case, you need not spend any time for this and it is still passive income. However, I think that bitcoin prices are quite high currently and there are various other lucrative options among alt coins that can give better returns. For instance, with Ripple you can expect at least 100x returns in 2-3 years only.
1366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Temporary ban on Cryptocurrency mining WorldEconomicForum on: March 26, 2018, 01:17:05 PM
Even if the news is true, it will not have big impact on bitcoin growth in my opinion. Best thing about bitcoin mining is that it can be done from any part of the world. At such, there will always be places with cheap electricity and supporting government to let the process continue. With time passing by, the number of coins being mined will decrease and we actually do not need much new setups anyway.
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Secure Bitcoins? on: March 26, 2018, 01:14:25 PM
How to Secure Bitcoins?
As long as you have your private key and no one knows about it your bitcoin is totally secure from scammer or thief.
Or you just buy a hardware wallet if you are planning to hold long term or about a year or decade.lol
Like nano ledger or trexor these wallet are you need to buy, it is very safe for cold storage.
There's some tip in storing your bitcoin don't put all your egg in one basket.

In addition to this, I would also like to add one thing. Recently, we has one member here sharing her experience where she shared her bitcoin details with her sister and later she was cheated by her sister. Her sister transferred all those bitcoins to her wallet. The girl experiencing this has to now work as a waitress and all her savings are gone. It is thus important that you choose the right person to share your financial details including bitcoin investments.
1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the history repeat again? on: March 26, 2018, 01:12:17 PM
No one knows exactly what the situation will be like. we can only expect and think. I think that bitcoin will grow.

I agree with you opinion:

1) Bitcoins prices have already seen good correction in the past few months and now there is scope for growth only.

2) The rumors regarding Twitter banning crypt ads has also been proved wrong as the co-founder of Twitter himself posted in favor of bitcoins recently.

3) We should not forget that almost all the leading companies like Amazon, Facebook had experienced loss recently. Bitcoin was also affected by the same.

1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your involvment in crypto world? on: March 25, 2018, 11:08:59 AM
As the title, do you actually work 24/7 in the crypto world as like: trading, mining, bounties, airdrop etc?

And what is your expecting earnings in the future with those jobs? Do you sustain yourself with? Feel free to ask too Smiley

No, I do not work 24/7 with bitcoins and I am only some money per month in bitcoins. I got a regular job which keeps me busy and I am happy with it. I do not plan to leave my job anytime soon.

Regarding expected earnings, I will be happy with anything more than 5x. I will withdraw some money only when I reach that much profit and remain invested with the rest of the money for long term. May be I get enough to retire really with this investment.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO $ 5000 on: March 25, 2018, 10:56:08 AM
We all already know how ethereum moved up last year,
I also believe that ethereum has a good potential to be an investment,
But I think ethereum will not reach $ 5000 by the end of this year,
Probably half of it because at this time the price of ethereum tends to be stable

Currently bitcoin is just at $500 and thus I also do not think that it will be able to reach $5000 by the end of this however. However, it is still a good option in my opinion. If we compare only return wise, it may prove to be better option in comparison to bitcoin for long term investments. This is because of the fact that bitcoins prices are already quite high and that is a disadvantage in my opinion for attracting new investors.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: March 25, 2018, 10:27:38 AM
Yes, i'm afraid you are late to the party you're witnessing right now.  People are leaving, drinks are almost done and the music is about to stop.  But the good news is that there are new parties.  All you have to do is find them.  Don't go following people who give you flyers to those parties because flyers mean that the party isn't real.  You have to find it yourself by doing research on parties and where to find them.  That way you'll turn up on a party where the drinks are abunded, the music just started, you got a front row place on the dancefloor in the VIP area which is still cheaper than a drink.  Wait some weeks and you'll be selling your place in the VIP area for 1000x the price you paid.  Grin

Those new parties are quite scary, most of them will be short lived. I bought tickets for one and found that the organizers ran away with our money. Smiley That 1000x returns you quoted are definitely possible but the main issue is how to find such a coin. You will have to bet on 5 coins or more and one of them may be able to give such returns. Be prepared to loose your money invested in rest 4 coins.

1372  Economy / Economics / Re: If you achieve your target in crypto field then what you are going to do next? on: March 25, 2018, 10:22:27 AM
You must have heard the famous line that no one is ever satisfied in this world. If you earn 50k, you would want 100k. If you earn 100k, you would want 1mn. So, the greed never ends. In the same way, even if I am able to make a fortune out of Cryptos, I would still keep investing and won't ever give up. It is one of the easiest ways to make money and I don't think anyone would want to leave it.
After converting my BTC to Fiat money, I would definitely raise my standard of living.

This is very true. I have also personally felt this. When I started my first job after college , I was paid very less money. I used to think that I should at least be paid twice  the salary. Today I make more than 10 times that amount and still I am not happy. Also, I think that an investment like bitcoins can give a life changing return only if you wait for 5 years or more. Most of your priorities will change by then and thus there is no point in planning today.
1373  Economy / Economics / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: March 25, 2018, 10:20:02 AM
You need knowledge and money before doing a business.

Knowledge part is correct but one should till not waste a lot of time on this. You just just start small and you will acquire all the experience and knowledge in the process. Regarding that money part, it is one of the the biggest misconceptions related to doing business. I was listening to a very popular public speaker (who own a successful company) and he gave multiple examples of how you can start a business with almost no money.
1374  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is the world economy is sliding down? And how bitcoin may help it? on: March 25, 2018, 10:10:31 AM
I do not see bitcoin helping the world economy but rather it can help an individual economy. Obviously, every country will not legalise bitcoin but the individual economy that adopts bitcoin can push in a huge investment when bitcoin is down to get some accruing profit from investment when price go up.  By such profit, the individual country can better her nation and her people by providing more social amenities, building projects, factories and employment.

Countries can also benefit in a number of ways:

1) If the citizens of a country are making good money with their bitcoin investments, they will also pay more tax to the government. This will result in increased overall revenue for that country.

2) If more people become self dependent by investing in bitcoins, it reduces the work load of government. If these people do not earn anything, government has to spend huge amount of money as compensation package for these people.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: March 25, 2018, 10:06:46 AM
Etheteum is next to bitcoin already, not because of it price but the volume of trade it has transacted. Though the price of ethereum is far from what bitcoin has acheived but its reputation as the second most consistent and most reliable in trades makes it even more interesting to invest with.

But what about the recent performance. Along with Bitcoins, ethereum has also failed to deliver good results for last few days.  For instance, if I talk about the performance for last 48 hours, both bitcoins and ehtereum were in loss of 5-10%. On the other hand, coins like TRON gave huge returns about 40% during the same period. Is the craze for bitcoins over and now all are looking for alt coin investment ?
1376  Economy / Economics / Re: In case you're interested on: March 25, 2018, 10:04:26 AM
Here India is marked as neutral which might change in few months. The finance minister here has mentioned the deadline as December 2018 and till then , they will come up with rules related to crypto in India. As per the working style of current government, I expect huge tax on the bitcoin investment which will discourage the investors. Another major issue here is that you cannot do any transaction (even $10 in crypto) without KYC.
1377  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is so unfair on: March 25, 2018, 10:01:22 AM
The merit system has achieved the result it wanted to: to block people at low levels, so that high rank members can make their own campaigns by earning money without having competition.
We all know that we do not receive any merit, even if we write masterpieces.
And spam is just a pretext.

I already see you having signature and there are campaigns here which even allow junior members to participate in signature campaigns. Regarding competition, every week we see a lot of members being tagged for reasons like merit abuse, alt accounts and similar things. There is enough room created for new members. Competition is also good for the forum in the sense that it brings the best out of the members thus enhancing the quality of posts made here.
1378  Economy / Economics / Re: Whose problems does Bitcoin solve? on: March 25, 2018, 09:58:47 AM
Bitcoin solved one problem for me. I could not find a genuine online earning opportunity that gave passive income. I have to spend most of the time with regular job so something like blogging or creating multiple affiliate websites is out of question for me. When I cam to know about bitcoins, I went through its performance in the last few years, and I was blown away. It offered about 1000 times better returns than the current investment options I was using. Isn't it sufficient ?
1379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC experience for young people on: March 25, 2018, 09:54:27 AM
BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

Hey, I'm not old but I'm closer to old than young. I was fortunate to get into the stock market early and even a couple ipo's which led me into real estate etc. so now I'm in crypto, follow it, read it still trying to figure it out. Anyway, although everyone is now talking Bitcoin I think this story has sent a message about saving and investing to younger people. I don't think speculation is a good lesson but the ability to do more with ur money than spend it or gain no interest in a bank account is a good thing and I only learned it by listening to others as I was making my way.

I was never in stocks and real estate and started with crypto only. Here also I am kind of late and started in 2017 only. This is hard to digest for my friends as I was actively involved in internet marketing from 2010 only. In between, I got involved with regular job and thus left online freelance works. If I had continued it, I would have a good amount of bitcoins accumulated over the years.
1380  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason of the recent drops in Bitcoin price? on: March 25, 2018, 05:09:30 AM
Many holders sell their Bitcoin instead of holding it they might get panic when the wave becomes big and think that it will continue and never stop but we should remember that there is always a sun after the rain same as Bitcoin fall it will pump sooner.

I have been hearing this for quite a long time now. Bitcoin prices have become kind of stagnant for last 3 months and I do not see any positive hope sooner. I have only heard negative news related to bitcoins like Facebook, Google and Twitter banning crypto.  Google alert trends also show that the search related to bitcoins as dropped considerably over the last few months. Still invested though as I do not need any money urgently.
