1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most trustable and famous gambling website? on: May 20, 2018, 08:14:30 AM
Well, as far as different types of bitcoin casinos have different pros and cons, decision on which particular site to use depend on lots of things.
For example Bitcoin-only sites are much more anonymous than hybrid ones, but on the other hand hybrid casinos are considered as more trustworthy. For me anonymity isn’t that important, so I stick to those gambling sites, which offer a low-fee withdrawal. Another thing that attracts me is the opportunity to play big, I’m in bitcoin gambling for quite a while and already look for more.
Anyway, you'd better decide yourself based on your personal priorities and needs. By the way, here's the list of some high-roller Bitcoin casinos I usuallly check - https://www.allhighrollercasinos.com/bitcoin-casinos
Enjoy.

Yes different people have different reasons to choose one but one should should start with checking how legitimate the website is.

I had personally faced this problem with an online casino where we can play with Bitcoins. I deposited about $100 worth Bitcoins there but they said that it never reached them. They started making excuses like I paid less transfer fees and thus the money was not deposited. Later when I read reviews about that website, I found that they have cheated a lot of other people in the same way.

1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: May 20, 2018, 08:11:01 AM
Most people usually attract on how many games that available to play.
Once they play, you have to obtain people's heart in order to get trust. It's crucial matter before the casino getting famous or not

Yes, the most important benefit of online casinos is that there is huge range of games available there. For instance, you can play games like Poker, Slots, Craps and Roulette.
A new feature in online casinos is that they allow you to play with Bitcoins. This increases the thrill manifolds. Many of my friends started to play online casino games just to earn Bitcoins. With the increasing acceptance of Bitcoins worldwide, I expect this trend to rise only.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: May 20, 2018, 08:08:17 AM
the one that makes the most sense and makes the traditional gambling more lagging is the ease in doing gambling from access to the payment system and most importantly we do not travel to gamble, stay in the room and play as much

I agree. In case of online gambling, you can play from the comfort of your home. All you need is a computer and internet connection. You need not bother about personally visiting the casino. On the other hand, in case of traditional gambling, you will have to visit the gambling site. This will eat up a lot of time especially if you gamble daily.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding Online Casino Bonuses on: May 20, 2018, 08:06:31 AM
You better read the fine text and see what the rollover requirements are before making any deposits otherwise you might be awfully surprised.

I agree to this, one should do all research. There are some precautions to take with the online casino bonuses as well. First of all, you should not join a particular casino only because it offers the highest bonus. You need to compare other features as well like the credibility of the casino. If you were offered 500% bonus by a new casino and then cheated by them with the deposited money, it will not feel nice for sure. Thus, make sure you have done proper research about the casino (like reading reviews) before getting tempted by the bonuses offered there.
1107  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: May 20, 2018, 07:44:13 AM
from your statement, it means you already have a real business that you will do. this is very good because besides we have a business, we can help others get a job. but i have not found a real business that i will run, even though the capital already exists

You can try some online business as they come with less risks. If you start something new new (new niche), there will be less competition as well. For instance, I am currently making good money reselling social media related services. Basically, I am reselling services of another panel and it is going good.
1108  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: May 20, 2018, 06:25:22 AM
With hackers everywhere, no system is really safe but as far as cryptographic stuff is concerned especially in the blockchain, i don't think it's an easy task for hackers to just hack the entire blockchain because that only means that one should hack all the nodes involved in the blockchain for these nodes to confirm a single transaction.

But if you are referring for your wallet to be hacked, then you yourself must be vigilant at all times as much as possible.

Certainly it is possible and has even happened multiple times in the past.

But we should not forget that exchanges also hire security researchers (or ethical hackers) who protect from these hackers. In the end it comes down to who is better hacking skills in between these two parties.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think if Facebook releases its coin? on: May 20, 2018, 06:01:44 AM
Maybe such an issue has already been met, but I have not heard. What do you think if Facebook releases its coin? Is the success of this coin?

It will certainly be a huge success. I am actually very much surprised that no other big company has come up with such a plan. One thing is for sure that if they laucnh their coin, I will invest in it blindly. This can be a good option for people who could invest in bitcoins in early days.

1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Scam - No more on: May 20, 2018, 05:50:42 AM
A lot of people originally thought Bitcoin was a scam seeing how there are so many schemes that can take your money with nothing in return. Over time early investors have gave Bitcoin its value.

I completely agree to this. 995 of online earning methods are scam only. They are launched by so called gurus to fool newbies and make money out of them.

But there are 1% genuine opportunities as well. Bitcoin or crypto is one of them and it has got advantage that you need not work much so it is passive.
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin win? on: May 20, 2018, 05:38:44 AM
Why do we need to defeat those who do not appreciate crypto. It is fine if some people do not want to use crypto as different people can have different opinions about the same thing.

Also, the number of bitcoins is limited, even if the whole world wants to have some, it will not be possible in long run.
1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO AND FIAT MONEY BEST COMBINATION on: May 20, 2018, 05:30:08 AM
I do not see crypto being used as much as fiat any time soon especially in developing countries. There are people there who could not operate even smartphones. They cannot use internet banking so buying and selling crypto is not a thing for them. Also, sellers will not be able to use it for receiving payments at such places.
1113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Bullish or Bearish 2018 on: May 19, 2018, 03:44:36 PM
I've been keeping up with Bitcoin and investing for the past year, and Im wondering if anyone thinks it will drop back down to 6 - 6.5k in the upcoming months?
I've read a lot of projections and there is a mixed consensus but several "vets" agree it's due for a big drop.
What does everyone think?

I do not think that it will drop to $6.5 K now. You will see many corrections in coming months before it reaches $20k again. But it should not go below $6000.

Interestingly, the prices have declined a little in last few days and you may wait for some time before investing. If I was at your place, I would have already purchased.
1114  Other / Off-topic / Re: Collections for someone who would like to improve English skills on: May 19, 2018, 03:25:36 PM
This is an interesting thread and hope members make good use of the information shared here.

Personally, I think that it has to do a lot with self motivation. If someone is motivate enough to learn , he can easily find the sources to learn. Personally, I think that Wren and Martin can be a good book for someone to start with.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Holding Bitcoin affect the stocks on: May 19, 2018, 03:22:19 PM
It is obvious that people start holding most of their bitcoins, it will increase the prices in short term. But it can even have negative affects in long term. For instance, if people start accumulating the bitcoins , they will not use it for payment. This defeats the purpose of it being used as payment medium.
1116  Other / Meta / Re: Smart copypasters, what to do with them? on: May 19, 2018, 02:58:28 PM
Sometimes, it is a bot which randomly copies a post in the thread. If it is unlucky, it sometimes copies the first or last post. There have been some cases where the bot copies the first post of a famous thread and it easily gets caught.

I agree to this, it can be a bot. A person doing this manually, can type something new in the same time so t does not make much sense.

There are lot of spinners available ( some for even free) which can spin the text and make it completely unique as well.
1117  Other / Meta / Re: Merit stat & all transactions more than 40 Merits on: May 19, 2018, 02:56:55 PM
I think there is another reason for awarding 50 merits to a member, and this is to pass the obligation to find meritable posts to someone else. I suspect this might be the reason that some of the 50s went to TMAN for example. TMAN is unlikely to be involved in any merit scams, but he has been active in awarding merits, and I can see that a member might want to support him in that. I have also been awarded 50 merits, and this was by a member with whom I have had no interaction, and I wonder if it ws for the same reason.

Another possibility is that someone wants to get his account painted red as revenge. This can be done from a useless high rank account that got some merit points to give by default. Whatever is the case, I hope the staff which makes the final decision keep in mind all aspects while making the final decision.
1118  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Business ( You can get merit, If you have money ) on: May 19, 2018, 02:54:53 PM
How you came to know about this as you are not that high ranked member ?

You can report such cases and expect some action to be taken. With money, one can buy everything ranging from merits to even higher rank accounts. However, all canot do this and they have to go through the correct route and that helps the forum as they make quality posts in the process.
1119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips for newbies, who want to avoid over-quoting on: May 14, 2018, 04:38:40 PM
Hi everyone,

Hi,

I thought about creating a similar article recently and I've merited you. Wouldn't it be better placed on the newbies beginners and help board?

Certainly, it will be . It is evident from the fact that no newbie has posted a comment here so far. In fact, I hardly see a newbie making a post in meta (unless we count those on crying about merits).
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin anniversary. 17 millionth mined. on: May 14, 2018, 04:35:27 PM
Happy to know about this. I hope bitcoin continues to gain popularity at the same rate.

Somewhere I believe that if bitcoin survives till the last coin (as per current reports is mined), they will increase the limit. I mean that number does not have any real practical limitation and we need need as much bitcoins as possible. Smiley I will not be alive to confirm this though .
