Потому что старожилам этой индустрии давно известно, что " облачный майнинг - путь лузера". Но неофиты могут же об этом и не знать, и их можно соблазнить мнимыми преимуществами "облачного мааанйнинга", и они клюнут, и понесут свои денежки... |

В жопу. Не судьба. Компик с одной RX480, воткнутой непосредственно в мать. Попробовал дрова 18.5.1, 18.5.2, 18.6.1. XMR-STAK 2.7.1 и последний SRBminer. 350 H/s. И хоть тресни. Это эфировские тайминги, что ли, так не нравятся майнерам?... К свиньям, не буду перешивать. Ну не суждено...

I don't think this is necessary. This wallet was transferred from Windows PC where this file was working perfectly.
I would advise to do it still, replacing current wallet.dat by one of backup is helps im most of cases. Anyway leave it up to you decide, if win wallet works perfectly so better keep using it. Well, the Linux wallet was working for 2-3 days, and then I found it closed. Without any notifications and without any suspicious things in log files... |

Beepool is a very respectable pool. How have you defined this? Also AE required custom Pool Software which looks like no other pools have made yet. Is it available for wide masses of miners? Also its very easy to mine on Windows i am doing it right now. So please share your methoda. |

If you mean this guide (for MAC, but who cares), I did everything described there (except the downloading a whole blockchain again - I am trying this right now). Have you tried use another backup(wallet.dat)? Try it while reseting your wallet.

Can you please define "honest mining"? We sponsored an open-source pool bounty of 20 000 CHF and no one participated. We are continuously working to improve the mining tools.
If you have to explain something (especially in such matters), then it makes no sense to explain anything. Decentralization is absolutely one of the most important goals for the AE team and we have always been completely honest.

Pools are necessary for a mineable coin. Now mining AE is only the whales' dinner.
Pools are coming. F2Pool is one of them. We don't need chinese f2pool, we will better use p2pool instead. We tried to level the playing field for miners. By not releasing a widely-usable howto and pool software? We announced a bounty of 20,000 CHF for an open-source pool, but no one participated.
Now the non-open source pools, which have a large economic incentive to organize those, are entering the game.

You as an AE team member and all AE devs are directly interested in ensuring fair mining in the network of their project. But not in that mining was concentrated in two or three private pools. Although it can be assumed that if the project is not entirely honest from the very beginning, then the developers may not have a goal to provide honest mining. If this is your case - I cannot participate in such a project as a miner and do not advise anyone. |
