I was storing almost 5000 AKA on my Windows PC. I was mining for masternode. In the "Settings" I chose non-default path for storing Akroma data. Once after wallet restart it began to download all data again, and then I found that Akroma wallet is storing it's data under some default path (C:\Users\rabinovitch\.akroma). In previously used folder (K:\Akroma.data) I can't find any wallet-related file, so as in newly created by Akroma folder. How can I get access to my funds?  |

Luxcore v5.2.2, "No block source available" for several hours. I tried to delete the peers.dat and then start the Luxcore, but without success. Though in "Tools window" I see one peer, 45.77.224.63:26969.
What should I do with this?

Why is it surprising? Miners are laid out with airflow and resulting interior temps in mind. Of course changing the direction makes them unhappy...
You could freely make this with S7, for example, and S7 performed well for years after that without any problems at all. As for the Warranty seal -- if the fan dies, contact the mfgr and get approval (and a new fan from them) to replace it. Easy peasy.
Anyway it's a little stupid, don't you think? Should I wait for 2-3 weeks for new fan from Innosilicon? Or I just can take any of my spare fans from the shelf and just put the miner back to work? Yea, the best comment I could come up with was; "Want to reverse the air flow? Turn the unit around.".
Well, sometimes when you really need to reverse the airflow, you may also want the status led to be still visible... That's why I flip the fans sometimes. Just installed this wallet (Alpha Build 0.0.5). In spite that it's an alpha, there are some obvious things which should be implemented even on alpha stage.
1) Choosing data directiry location BEFORE starting any daemons and BEFORE downloading any blockchain data. What if I'm on 120 Gb SSD?
2) It's unobvious how can you get back to wallet's "home page" if you entered in "Settings" or something. Now I know that I should click on Akroma logo on top-left, but first it is misleading...

Thanx CK. Another surprising fact about T2. You can not change the direction of the air flow by flipping the fans. Firstly, the guarantee seal doesn't allow you to unscrew the front fan (what if I need to replace it?). Secondly, in case you flipped the fans, the miner begins to behave strangely. Judging by the logs, something inside the miner overheats up to 95 C, and the miner sets the fans to 100% speed periodically. |

I won't be having a Innosilicon T2 for review, bought or for free,
their business policy is bad for the community and I also have bad personal experience with them..
Well, it seems that there are no reviews of T2 miner, so I'll make one for the community. Inno is here to listen and make miners, ASIC and services better to help decentralization and break monopoly

Really? What miner software is used in your T2 miner? Does it has any coinbase transaction size limit (like bmminer S9s do) which can prevent T2 work with p2pool normally? Also, why there are only 2 PCI-E 6pin connectors on each hashing board? Are 3 connectors too much? Also, why the controller is powered with 2 connectors, PCI-E 6pin 12V for fans and some strange atypical (as for ASIC miners) 4pin connector with different voltages for FPGA? In case of PSU failure the owners of T2 will not be able to simply take any appropriate server PSU and put their miners back into work. They will need an original PSU for replacement. Or they will need to invent something to bypass this constraint... |

Wonder why Cryptopia has the wallet offline. Will be nice if this makes it to a bigger exchange. Like an alternative market of some kind. And that alternative market sholud be some decentralized exchange like Moondex.  Just for crypto-projects to help each other. |

zFastminer-v2.3.4 crashes, the crashes are caused by ntdll.dll. v2.3.2 is working, but it looses stratum connection from time to time (2 minutes of mining, 2 minutes of disconnect).
Is it possible to fix v2.3.4 in my case? 6x1070, with or without overclocking, without antivirus, Win7 x64, nVidia driver 397.31.

Hotmine X6 Minor is not working.. they have lots of dummy machines.. dont buy i had experience with them. please read my story below

i dont know where to address this issue i left with zero options so i am writing this to you sir, please consider me. i am jobless , i thought mining will earn some money , i found Hotmine.io on web , i borrowed money to buy minor X6.
i discussed with Vadim Ganzha sales manager in hotmine.io we chatted in telegram and sent BTC 0.1137 (which is around 1050usd-1100usd) after 30 days i got the minor which is not working , immediately i communicated with Hotmine.io in telegram regarding the issue and requested to send back my BTC take their miner , but all of sudden they started speaking polices, Terms and conditions , which they never mentioned at the time of buying, and they said there is no sending money back only replacing miner, I am not ready to take their deal ,because it will take another month for new minor and I am not sure whether it will work or not. i had long conversation with hotmine.io I followed their instructions even though the miner didn’t work
Hotmine Team accepted to pay money in the form of BTC and they sent a confirmation mail also but after two days they again they said they will not send BTC, the cycle continued and they keep changing words and making me fool. Now i need my money back, i have all the Telegram chat and emails how they are manipulating every time. Hotmine.io is taking everything is for granted they are not accountable , if you read all our conversation (i will post below)you will get better idea of how much Hotmine.io is careless and reckless … Hotmine.io never mentioned about their terms n conditions and policies if so i would not even buy from them. I am writing this to you for not only my money , many people want to buy miners from hotmine.io , i hope they will not face same issue like me.. please do take some action .. iam in helpless situation seeking your help…

Dear Bharat! We are all very sorry about such a trouble you have met. Though I'm from Russia, not from Ukraine. Please look at this case from the point of view of the company. In case you are a malicious person you will recieve your BTCs back and leave the miner (probably it's in fully working condition - Hotmine can't know it for sure) to yourself. Of course they will not agree to refund in this case. So I think you have no another choice but to fulfill their demands. Or may be you can try to find someone in India who is experienced in miners repair. Also, almost any good engineer involved in the repair of consumer electronics should be able to help you. |
