13861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Bter.com Announcements [ProtoShare/PTS is added] on: December 30, 2013, 11:27:17 PM
So the question is, will BTER consider adding SXC to the exchange against BTC ?

Dude, have you read this thread?  You and your coin are better off if they don't. Their platform sucks and their support sucks (actually their support is non-existant, sucks would be a step up), resulting in ripping off traders. Being associated with them would only tarnish the reputation of "Sex Coin.'

Wow Sushi, another early shipment, Bitmain is setting the bar for ASIC Manufacturers.

This. 1000x this.

13863  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | NASTY POOL on: December 30, 2013, 11:20:09 PM
Note that nastyfans tracking ownership of minted seats only matters for voting. Donations to minted seats do not care about owner.

Of course to be purely factual about it that is true. There is also a "fun" aspect to all this that should not be dismissed; when people get the coins as gifts they want to go online and track the unpaid balance for "their" seats, participate i the pools, etc. At least that is my experience.

This is part of the KNC customer protection plan they have, they will not sell more units until network difficulty rises. So they are basically holding off sales of their jupiters until another competitor ships so their current customers don't get screwed by them selling more.

Awesome! If there weren't enough incentive for "burn in testing," let's come up with another one.

I for one am very happy with the Bitmain/sushi model of offering machines to sell (or more importantly pay for) that are actually available for fast shipment. The rest of the vendors are playing games with a shady (at best) business model.

Question about payouts. I have a minimum set in My Eligius and sometimes I get payouts just above the minimum but I also sometimes get payments well below the minimum. What's up with that?

You should never get payouts below your minimum.  Above is normal because you enter queue when you reach your minimum.

Try Cloud mining from

"Cex.io"

after your done with mining you can reseller your mining power.

=D so its a plus

A plus? You misspelled rip off.  Up front price is double what it should be and if you look at the history the prices drop just like other miners, so you don't get good resale value either.

And that's on top of the risk the entire site is a ponzi scheme and doesn't even have any miners. How would you know?

13867  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 7x ASICMINER blade 71 GH rig, supporting hardware, all or part (auction) on: December 29, 2013, 11:21:30 PM
.6BTC for 2 working blade including shipping & molex connector

Is this in addition to your earlier bid or are you updating it? Somewhat confusing since your earlier bid was for up to 4 blades but now you are just bidding for 2.

it was just an update..

I'm looking to buy 4 blades total!!

I'm in the works of buying 2 blades from another seller.

I will still buy 4 working blades for 1BTC including shipping & molex connectors from you
But this bid is short term. If my other deal goes through before you decide who you are going to sell your blades to, then I only want 2 blades.

Thanks

OK, that's how I treated it. As I said auction is max of a week. If it is stalled for a while I will just end it early, I know everyone wants their stuff ASAP.

13868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / WTS Memorycoin 2.0 on: December 29, 2013, 11:18:12 PM
I have 3000 memorycoin 2.0 to sell. Asking 0.00075 BTC, which is just above the bid on BTER but well below the ask, so 2.25 BTC for the lot. You send first, and I have an excellent reputation on here for almost 3 years.

Last time I sold these they were gone in 15 minutes so don't delay.

in 2-3 weeks there will be a gigaton of TH miners released on the network

There are (always) a gigaton of big miners being promised and money being taken for pre-orders. Actual delivery is a different story.

Maybe there will be a rush of deliveries on the next few weeks.  I actually doubt it though because all these companies pre-mine with their inventory ("burn in" lol) and the hash rate hasn't been going up that fast recently.
13871  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: December 29, 2013, 10:40:43 PM
Anyone else have this much variance?  Is it a firmware issue?

Very similar issue here. Two ants, one with approx 0 "HW" errors, the other with ~1.5% error rate using the formula posted above. In my case the hash rate on the one with the errors is slightly lower, but still within spec.

Temperatures are similar, no overclocking, etc.
13872  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: December 29, 2013, 10:32:41 PM
What's the current draw per blade?

It's around 15 amps per blade. I'm not sure what happens when you only power one blade. The controller board is mounted to one of the blades, and probably powered from it; if that one is unpowered the entire rig is very likely down.

There is nothing wrong with wanting, and requesting, transparency. Transparency increases trust.

13875  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 7x ASICMINER blade 71 GH rig, supporting hardware, all or part (auction) on: December 29, 2013, 09:16:08 PM
Individual bidders getting close to outbidding sandrig (who wants the whole rig), but not quite there yet. Really just need new individual bids for 2 more blades because the last two have a very low individual bid price.
13876  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 7x ASICMINER blade 71 GH rig, supporting hardware, all or part (auction) on: December 29, 2013, 08:49:55 AM
I'll give .12 for the twacked blade shipped, and a molex connector if you can spare it.  Been wanting to get my hands on a burnt/nonfunctional unit.  I understand the risks.

edit: also understand the 0.02 handling fee, so 0.14 total?

I've updated post #1, priority mail shipping and handling now included with all bids. Your bid is accepted (and leading) as 0.14 for one burnt blade and connector. If I don't have the molex one I will include the original ASICMINER green plug that can easily be converted into one or hooked directly to a power supply. (If you are prepared to work on a blade I'm pretty sure you can build a cable!)

Since new ones are 0.38 BTC here, I'd bid that for two of the working ones plus shipping to Ohio.

Do you want the power connector adapters (item 7)? If so you need to specify that in your bid.
