Then it will halve every year until it reaches a constant of 100 H2O

The reward will remain constant even after all 2B coins have been mined?

vesperwillow, being rude to your fellow posters does not award carma.

Stay on topic, and avoid insults, please.
The site has been down or offline more than once in the past week. Nobody said otherwise.

Yet, i did say, that you lied, more than once actually:

First:
your statement that "they shut down irc and support tickets two days ago" is
either outright false and provocative, or you are playing with your fellow posters  Roll Eyes

Second lie:
Your statement is beyond my commenting ability, i'll just quote it for historical purposes.
The refused to manually withdraw by 11,000+ QB.

There are 200+ users in the channel daily.
They are CR users, looking for, or offering their support. Had there been *any* refusal of such sort, bitcoinland would have known already, no?

They will do their job and community will approve or disapprove
I dare you to drop by and take a look. Dont;t speak to anyone, just look at the activity.

PS
There are more than 30.000 users, and most of them are members in this forum. The support the place is receiving by the community is wonderful to watch, let alone participate.
So yeah, that sums it up

EDIT:
Actually if you or anyone feels helpful, there is an open call to PoS coindevs, on their first page.

Oh yes, really? Then what's this?

628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | cPoW | PC mining | Fast Distribution | Stability - on: April 08, 2014, 04:40:53 AM
There needs to be a Quark CPU miner written in assembly code; they may just be faster than the GPU miner.

Otherwise scrypt on CPU gives 7 kh/s, but with the optimized miner it gives 22.

So an optimized miner on i7 may just give 2.4MH/s.

But problem is implementing Quark in assembly is a long job for the same reason making an ASIC for it hard and expensive.

So you'll be taking over development?
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypto Rush - Crypto to Crypto exchange on: April 08, 2014, 04:16:42 AM
you should file a ticket, and head on to irc
that would be the fastest i guess.

631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was this forum always like this? on: April 07, 2014, 05:32:05 PM
They were always like this.

Apart form this, there ongoing scams asking Americans for BTC in exchange for virtual coins they just made. Since you've realized most people here are dumb, we have (maybe successful) scam like --

632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: An idea for a "50% pre-mined airdrop" coin on: April 07, 2014, 03:15:55 PM
my little brother has like 3 active fb accounts .. => no good idea!

He's probably one of the exceptions then. Tongue

And there're many exceptions.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fuckcoin [FUCK] on: April 07, 2014, 02:42:34 PM
For this kind of shit the bitcoin is undervalue. Imagine some investor who enter here to know more about the world of cryptocurrecies and see this kind of shit, he runs away with his money and put it in another thing.

Wolf Rainer is correct; This project is a fucking stupid idea.
You are hurting Bitcoin with your Fucking stupidity.
What kind of a fucking person would think this is a fucking good idea?

Fucking do something you can be proud of.

+1

Honestly, 99% people investing in Bitcoins and driving it's value it don't even know about litecoin.

Currently Bitcoin is seen as a separate entity and altcoins as a separate entity.

So with stuff like 'fuckcoin', 'beercoin', 'shitcoin', trollcoin etc... people will get a bad impression on the alts.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypto Rush - Crypto to Crypto exchange on: April 07, 2014, 02:34:52 PM
wow guys.the new owners have been busting their asses trying to get the site up and running and get your coins back that the old owners lost not these guys.they are doing all they can even though they didnt lose the coins and all u can do is bad mouth them and call them scam exchange.i hope u guys take your coins and run cause the exchange and the crypto community in general dont need people like u with negative attitudes.quite disgusting really how u are treating the new owners .they could of just said to bad your coins are gone we didnt lose them and just carry on from there, but they did not .and u are only making it take longer for them to generate trade fee income to pay back the lost coins by leaving site and not trading there.so if it takes alittle longer to repay people its only your own fault.they are currently moving to the new secure servers which will improve the whole site.this is one reason for some down time.maybe some of u need to step take a breathe and be a bit more considerate.i think it funny how people get on here and abuse them but i bet it u werent hiding behind a computer screen and were sitting across the table from someone u wouldnt shoot your mouth of so much.

At least they could've given an option of manual withdrawing. I bet these 'maintenance mode' will remain in maintenance mode for months. That's unacceptable.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypto Rush - Crypto to Crypto exchange on: April 07, 2014, 08:07:29 AM
I want my Quarkbars off that exchange quick.

Needed it for a bounty hope it doesn't get traded.

It's probably not cause you got less no. of nodes. There're other bottlenecks like disk i/o.

What do you mean?

You use an SSD?
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LDC] Leadcoin LAUNCHED! new exchange added on: April 07, 2014, 07:11:06 AM
Looks like this issue, do the same thing for leadcoin appdata folder: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38510.0
PS. Backup wallet.dat before deleting anything.

thanx for the help, but that didn't work either. i even tried installing the wallet on a different computer and it gave the exact same error. very weird. i downloaded the wallet off this forum and leadcoin.net, with same results. i checked for viruses as well, and i am clear. this sucks, since i was planning to move some LDC around, but now i cant! Angry

I finally got my wallet running...i loaded the CCleaner app and ran a full computer clean-up and registry clean-up, and after the wallet loaded right up! i have no idea if ccleaner got it working by cleaning something out, but the wallet is running again. i got the two new nodes setup and it is syncing up again. hopefully i wont have any more issues... Cheesy

Ok, so should I do a re-ann?
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypto Rush - Crypto to Crypto exchange on: April 07, 2014, 07:05:07 AM
What does 'offline' mean? Your balance was eaten away by the site owner?
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ★★ EBT Coin - PoW/PoS - New EBT Qt 2.0 Wallets Available!!★★ on: April 06, 2014, 04:55:11 PM
Please help to vote EBT up in mintpal!

https://www.mintpal.com/voting

http://cryptofleamarket.com/buy2.php  and http://cryptofleamarket.com/sell.php and http://cryptofleamarket.com/rates.php Wink Can't wait for them to finish the site!

And don't forget to comment on https://swisscex.uservoice.com/forums/238010-general to get EBT added and vote on https://comkort.com/vote

We need a wider distribution of EBT users if we want to buy stuff and not have items cost 1 million EBT a piece.

The dev needs to update the top post to add these voting links.
