Will setting up a NAV masternode be similar to that of a Dash Masternode? It would be cool if someone would post a link to where I/we can get more information on NAV masternodes? Perhaps I missed it. Oh, and how do NAV masternode rewards differ from the 5% staking of the qt wallet? Thank you.  There seems to be a lot comments going back and forth about Masternodes. Not following Dash so what makes a masternode a masternode? Similar is a mater of opinion. You do have to put a list of anon servers in your navcoin.conf file like addanonserver=95.183.52.55:3000

If NAV Dev team said Decentralization will be launch on the 21st why doubt?

Why would anyone give a rats ass if it is the 21st, 22nd, 23rd etc? If the Dev team can get their forecast right within +/- 10 days I will be impressed. I'm hoping that there is a glitch and they miss the 21st so that Team Moron will bring the price down and I can buy more. I think that bruce willis revealing proof of being a tranny on bitcointalk forums is more likely to happen than this team building their anon tech before dec 21. |

Well when NavTech server source is on github and anyone can make one. So you can make a server and get paid the navtech .5% fee even on a ETH to BTC anon tx.
But as people understand what is going on they will want to save a few conversion fees and just use NAV

There are already quite a few places you can get a Debit card that yo pay in BTC but can use as USD EUR etc. It would be nice if someone offered a credit card with a X BTC limit.

I use Coinbases Shift card so I but BTC and use the Visa card anywhere i want. If more of my bills accepted BTC I would set up monthly payments on coinbase. I'll close my 'normal' bank account if/when that happens. My savings are in a altcoin (NAV) that I like that stakes 5% much better than my banks interest rate. do i want someone else handling my money? no! do i think someone else can handle my money faster/better? maybe faster, maybe better and even maybe safer, but i do not want to be looking for such a person, because they also have to be trustworthy.
Let's remain realists We don't yet have any real Bitcoin banks yet, but people are already using web wallets like Coinbase or Xapo and trusting their money to someone else. How come? Because they don't want to get into all the gory details of installing a desktop wallet and risking losing their hard-earned coins due to a misconfiguration, hardware failure or virus attack. Or they themselves doing something stupid with their wallet and coins sorry, i do not understand you. you use coinbase to pay your bill if i understood this right and you habe your savings invested in an altcoin that earns you an interest rate of 5%? for me the important question is: are you in charge of your money or do you depend on other people? can the take your money rightful/unrightful or cut you off? I can't pay all bills yet. from coinbase. The altcoins are in my local wallet doing POS Proof of stake. It's kind of like mining. My Balance grows ~5% a year. No central server to steal from. Of course the coin could become worthless but so can USD. Also this some savings not my life savings or retirement account. some risk but good reward also. |

I've just been buying on Bittrex. helps keep the daily Vol up on that exchange. I also have some open NAV buys on Bitsquare.
