UFC pool is up

ATTENTION: UFC HARD FORK!!! UFC - version 1.5.5

If you have been mining UFC, you'd probably realize that there has been issues with transactions, performance, wallet forking and the health of the network in general. Dreamwatcher has discovered the issue, and he has created a fix.  A few of us have tested the wallet, and it seems to work well. He is in Central time, it's late for him, and he didn't have much rest since the KED relaunch, so I am posting this on his behalf.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WALLETS, AND PLEASE FOLLOW THE CORRECT STEPS

For windows users, the new wallet is downloadable from:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B0wumNRRq9LNbWo1cnF1YnhsR1U&usp=sharing

YOU HAVE TO CLEAN UP YOUR OLD DATA STORE: you need to re-download the whole block chain.
1. Click start -> type: %appdata% on the find/search bar, you'd get an explorer window.
2. Rename the federationcredit directory to to federationcredit_old
3. Copy the original wallet.dat and the federationcredit.conf (if you have it) to the new dir.
4. It's probably best if you add the official checkpoint server as a node in the conf file:
Code:
addnode=ufc.cryptocoinexplorer.com
5. Start the new client, it's going to start syncing the blocks, and your balance should be intact.
6. If you get stuck, try again with completely empty federationcredit directory. After you are synced, replace the wallet file.

FOR LINUX USERS, the source code is available here: https://github.com/scificryptocoin/FederationCredits
Similarly, you need to start with an empty .federationcredit directory at your home dir.

The new ports are:
RPC Port: 7014
P2P port: 7013

Note ufccoin.com pool is down while hard fork in progress.
Balances have been converted to new client. You can withdraw if you want. Pool should be back up fairly soon. But it is Christmas eve so it might be on the 26th before mining reopens
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Latest Cryptsy Additions, News and announcements. NEW SITE on: December 24, 2013, 11:50:32 PM
I am no longer human

Every time I go to log in is a new kind of captcha. That's one way to get from overloading the site.

I guess they are trying different ones . What I would like is 2 factor auth. the google auth would be nice. if that would skip captcha.

GPl is stable no plans for new client short term. There may be a cosmetic update later. there is some talk of optional displaying balance in slips, strips or bars as part of the cosmetic change.

Note there is a brand new client you weed to switch to.

You should back up wallet and remove all but wallet.dat and .conf file and let the new client resync.

is it normal to get errors mining GPL? I got a lot of

Reject REason: "share above target"

or "result does not validate on CPU" errors.

The hash rate is awfully high for 660 ti.  What miner are you using?
This is a scrypt-jane coin, not regular scrypt.

You can check this guide also

Are u getting all x's when u put the cube into overclock?  If so, u prob have one bad board. try taking all the boards out and add back one by one in overclock mode until u find the bad board. make sure to shut down before adding each board.

I'm having the same Issue. Thanks for the hint on how to troubleshoot.

Whats the point to mine BLC if there are no exchanges? BTW i`m selling 282 BLC pm.

To Build up your bank of them for when you can use them in a MMO or to have a large stash onhand when it is on an exchange?

Also to help test a blockchain that is based on a newer hashing than SHA256 help see how it performs as it scales up network is over 100GH/s. need lots of people mining to get the network over 1TH/s

The latest Kramble cgminer has had no high hash of H not zero errors for me at all.
Since I'm pool mining I'm not seeing disconnects on the wallet. If I did there still would be no orphans just a delay in my seeing them in my wallet.

I will try kr105's version when CM1 support is there as it has the standard display and controls.

Edit typo

Well I do different coins based on device that is mining.
BLC-> FPGA
BET-> ASIC
KED-> GPU

 do sometimes move the GPU/ASICs around.
