Mein Problem ist folgendes, a) macht ihr den - nachweislich vorhandenen - Use Case von IOTA durch das Spekulieren kaputt [Nutzung von IOTA wird durch Kurssteigerungen bestraft] und b) schadet Ihr der Community und dem Projekt, weil dieses Preisgerede, Gehype und Chart-Geposte intelligente Menschen abschreckt. Diese Bringen sich dann lieber in Projekte ein wo dies nicht der Fall ist.

Eurer verdammtes Preisgelaber und die dümmliche Investmentmentalität wird IOTA genauso kaputt machen den Bitcoin.

I don't think this statement is correct and valid. The projects are very different.

Dash project is acting like a FinTech-corporation. Its centralized by the masternode owners and controlled by a non-development core team (of CEOs, CTOs, project managers, advisers, marketing people).
It's offering a super legal & serious "digital money"-Payment system, which offers instant payment and privacy for extra fees. They focus on self-goverance, offering of debit cards (that get connected to our identity) and regular, and legal E-Commerce with retailers and services, which mostly do not require full privacy etc.

Monero on the other hand, is a free, dezentralized project, trying to undermine the current authoritative systems.  Clearly focussing on building a secure, private, and untraceable cryptocurrency. Which is open-source and accessible to all. A whole idifferent approach and direction.

So, there is no competition or dependency anyway. Monero will be the next Dark Market coin (will have its price be based on that). Besides that, it will at least be a serious player for all private transaction demands in Crypto-Currency, that are non dark market-related.
Dash is gonna do, whatever they want. Right now, they chosen to compete with web wallets, other existing payment system and 100 others coins to be another additional basic payment systems. There list of merchants shows, they only get accepted at low profile US-based E-Businesses, that all accept > 20 payment systems anyway. And probably integrate every payment system, that offers them a link. :-)
Maybe a great strategy, maybe not.

Ich kann kurz ausführen, was ich gemeint habe.

Zum einem ist es - selbstredend - absolut korrekt, dass niemand weiss, was die mittlere und ferne Zukunft mit sich bringen wird. Niemand kann heute mit Sicherheit sagen, welches Projekt/Coin/Token in > 5 Jahre, das  zentrale, bevorzugte Crypto-Currency für private Transaktionen sein wird.
Da gibt es sicherlich einige, valide Bewerber mit echten Chancen, diesen Status zu erreichen. Das schliesst natürlich auch Projekte ein, die aktuell noch sehr jung sind. Auch Zencash.
Trotz der offensichtlichen Fakten, dass  a) deren Whitepaper gerade mal 6 Monate alt ist, b) das Projekt in der aktiven Szene - rund um digitale Freiheitsrechte, Crypto-Anarchy und Decentralized Economy - die seit vielen Jahren insbes. für Anonymous Cryptocurrencies kämpft völlig unbekannt ist und c) niemand in deren Team, irgendwelche relevante Referenzen in den Bereichen Cryptography, Cryptocurrency, Kampf für Digitale Freiheitsrechte oder Dezentralisierung aufweist!
Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass sich Zencash mal als zentrale Privacy-Coin durchsetzt oder sich als interessante, nützliche Alternative & Ergänzung, zu dem dann führenden anonymen Crypto-Zahlungssystem etabliert, mag jeder bewerten, wie er mag.

Eine seriöse, fundierte Einschätzung, wie sich das Projekt entwickeln wird, ist aufgrund des jungen Alters doch aktuell überhaupt nicht möglich. Niemand kennt die Code-Qualität, den Reifegrad & die Robustheit der Implementierung, es gibt keine akademischen Reviews des Whitepapers, ob deren Goverance-Modell und die ganze DAO-Organisation funktionieren wird, ist zumindest mal unsicher, weil aktuell noch nicht mal definiert ist, sondern nur grob mit paar Ideen in Planung.
Frühestens in einem Jahr und ausgehend von dem dann wirklich Erreichten (und nicht nur angekündigten Features & Szenarien), könnte man dann Zencashs echte Chance auf Erreichung möglicher langfristige Ziele, wie Marktstellung allgemein, Position im Wettbewerb um angestrebte Zielgruppen, generelle Sustainability.

Das ist aber unabhängig vom Zencash. Das betrifft alle Projekte, die sich aktiv selbst mit nicht implentierten Features oder dem Aufbau von irgendwelchen Ökosystemen, mit möglichen Apps, Services & Integrationen.

Es war auch nicht meine Absicht Zencash Technologie irgendwie in Frage zu stellen oder zu diskreditieren. Es ist auf jedenfall mutig, auf so viele noch nicht erprobte Technologien (eigener Netzwerk-Stack), externe ebenfalls in Entwicklung befindliche Netzwerke (IPFS, GNUnet) und ein DAO-Organisationsmodell anzustreben, welches noch niemals in Praxis wirklich funktioniert hat. Ich stehe dem zk-SNARK-Konzept sehr positiv gegenüber und wollte dieses weder bewerten, noch mit Moneros anderem Ansatz vergleichen.

Was ich eigentlich nur sagen wollte. Ich hatte deinen Kommentar so verstanden, dass er sich auf die von mir beschriebene, aktuell stattfindende Ablösung von Bitcoin als führende und einzig bedeutende Dark Market
bezieht. Zencash wird hier ganz sicher keine Rolle mehr spielen. Denn es hat trotz offensichtlichen Bedarf für eine anonyme Lösung bei DM Kunden, Betreibern & Vendoren ganze 3,5 Jahre gedauert, trotz intensiver Bemühungen (ab 2014) und viel Sympathie aus der Betreiberszene für Monero, bis es möglich war ein Ökosystem und die Infrastruktur aufzubauen. Die nötig sind ein solches Volumen an Liquidität, Marktvolumen, Anzahl von Transaktionen, bei maximal möglicher Sicherheit sicher zu verarbeiten. Genau wie Vertrauen in ein neues Protokoll und dessen sichere Implementierung in der Software.
[Logischerweise sind die Betreiber von Dark Net-Angeboten sehr konservativ was neue (Software-)Lösungen und deren Sicherheit und Vertrauenswürdigkeit, weil sehr viel davon abhängt dass alles sicher ist.
Und logischerweise nutzt die beste Technologie, die tollsten & neuesten Features und die coolste Cryptographie im Whitepaper nichts, wenn die Coin von den Usern im Dark Market-Umfeld (warum auch immer nicht angenommen wird). Keine Verbreitung & vor allem erarbeitetes Vertrauen unter Usern, heisst: kein Market wird diese Coin jemals anbieten und kein Vendor wird diese Coin jemals akzeptieren.]
 
Falls Du mit deinem Posting gemeint haben solltest, Zencash hätte jetzt eine Chance, die - von mir angesprochene & allseits erwartete - anstehende Verdrängung von Bitcoin im Darknet, siegreich zu sein. Dann ist meine Antwort: Die Aussage ist einfach hochgradig unsinnig, fern von Logik und Sachkenntnis. (Und falls irgendwelche "Experten" eine solche Meinung vertreten ist dies hochgradig lächerlich.)

Falls Du aber einfach nur meintest, Zencash hat in ferner Zukunft eine Chance auf den allgemeinen Privacy-Coin-Thron und könnte mit Monero gleichziehen oder es ergänzen. Dann hast Du natürlich damit Recht und ich habe mich missverständlich, weil abwertend, ausgedrückt. Das tut mir leid, das war ernsthaft nicht meine Absicht. (Ich kannte das Projekt ja bis dahin noch nicht mal.)

Kein Kommentar zu diesem "Experten"-Urteil. Die Einschätzung spricht für sich selbst.

Ich sehe drei fundamentale Gründe, warum Monero aktuell gut läuft und vermutlich noch etwas wird.

1.) wichtige technische Meilensteine (GUI release, Mergen Multi-Sig Branch in Core, große Performance-Verbesserungen) wurden geschafft oder sind kurz vor Fertigstellung (Kovri, RFC-HW-Wallet, verschiedene Light- & Mobile Wallets).

2.) Fortschritte bei Cryptography-Themen: theoretischen [White papers releases (RuffCT), erbrachte mathem. Beweise (Range Proofs aka "Bulletproofs ")] und Praxis (Erzwingung RingCt für alle TX, Implementierung von Subaddresses)

3.) weiterer XMR-only "Dark Market" ist gestartet
- es ist absehbar, dass mit dem MultiSig-release Monero Bitcoin endgültig als führende "Dark Market"-Währung ablösen wird
- die historischen Konkurrenten sind hier dauerhaft gescheitert (Dash, ZCash)
- Stimmungsbild hierzu überall  (crypto scene, DMN scene, relevante Medien) gleich: "Monero löst Bitcoin, Transformation bereits aktiv im Gang"
- obvious geht dann so bald dieser Meilenstein in 2018 erreicht wird, der Kurs nochmal schlagartig hoch (analog Bitcoin-History)

Verstärkt durch ordentliche Fortschritte in der Infrastruktur (Android Wallet, diverse Integrationen, mehrer aktive HW Wallets-Projekte) und weiterhin eine gut organisierte (Slack, Taiga, IRC), aktiv unterstützende (hohe Aktivität bei Meetups, Workgroups und CryptoScene-Events) angenehme Community.

Ich bin wirklich positiv überrascht & wirklich glücklich. Läuft verdächtig gut.

Ist nur meine persönliche Meinung und explizit keine Empfehlung (zum Kauf).

Da a) mir als Involvierter im Projekt ein solches Urteil nicht zu steht und b) ich generell keine Kaufempfehlungen ausspreche für Coins, ICOs oder sonstige Crypto-Investments.

Was ich aber weiterhin gut finde, ist dass Roger für seinen Überzeugungen eintritt, seit Jahren. Wie kontrovers sie auch sind. Ich bewundere dass.

"Digitales Gold" kann nur eine Crypto-Currency sein, die "sicher", "anonym", "nicht-rückverfolgbar" und "fungibel" by-design ist. Also diese Features bereits auf Protokollebene vollständig und verpflichtend für alle TX implementiert.
Darüberhinaus sollte das Projekt "fair" und "elementar dezentral".

-> Kann es niemals Litecoin sein.

Vielleicht hat Litecoin ggf. eine Zukunft als "Crypto-Kleingeld", z.B. auf Handy-Wallets für kleine POS-Einkäufe.

Overview
This is the v0.11.1.0 point release of the Monero software, and it is part of the v0.11 mandatory update. The major release was due to the September 15th hard fork, which in turn increased the minimum ring signature size to 5 across the network, banned duplicate ring members in a ring signature, and enforced the use of ringCT for all transaction outputs. This release of the software presents a number of major improvements to Monero, as well as a large set of bug fixes.



Some highlights of this point release are:
GUI

• fixed a bug where, in an edge case, the wallet wouldn't see the first transaction to it
• added an option to change wallet creation height and rescan wallet cache
• changed the default required confirmations to 10
• reworked testnet settings in the wizard
• updated the Windows installer
• made the privacy slider smoother
• the password dialog box is now shown when making a transfer
• added a Romanian translation

CLI

• fixed an occasional sync failure that occurred when a transaction was already in the mempool
• added an underflow check on low block heights
• added a guard against a mined block not finding all the transactions in the mempool
• fixed the transaction size estimator for transactions with a large number of inputs
• fixed an LMDB issue on 32-bit systems
• the get_tx_backlog RPC call was unrestricted
• threads now guard against exceptions during transaction verification
• fixed a crash that could occur when checking pre-validated transactions
• various other bug fixes and improvements

Some highlights of the major release this is a part of are:
