Das Konzept des Blacklistings, kann ich in gewisserweise noch nachvollziehen.
Diese Rückbuchbarkeit-Idee aber ist vollkommen behämmert. Mit P2P-Rückbuchbarkeit (jeder kann seine TX frei reversen), ist absolut kein (trustless) E-Commerce mehr möglich.
Die andere Möglichkeit: Zentral-kontrollierte Rückbuchbarkeit - durch Clearing-Houses, zentrale Gateway-Server als Kontrollinstanzen oder so ein Scheiss - führt doch das P2P-Konzept von Bitcoin und dessen Dezentralität vollkommen ad absurdum.

Nxt’s long-awaited Monetary System – an innovative platform that allows the fast and straightforward creation of completely new cryptocurrencies on top of Nxt – will go live on 10 January 2015.
The Monetary System (MS) allows users to launch new currencies, securing them with the Nxt blockchain using the second-generation cryptocurrency’s established network, rather than requiring that developers create a coin from scratch and bootstrap it with its own network. Frage ist zu allgemein. Alles neue Tech, jedes Projekt macht es anders. Daher: kommt es halt konkret auf die jeweilige Coin und deren POS-Implementierung an.

Ich kann dir nur folgendes sagen:
- Ich mache und sehr, sehr viele andere machen nicht mit in Crypto Currency-Projekten, in denen Coins blacklist-bar oder rückbuchbar sind.
- Du bist herzlich eingeladen in Crypto Currency-Projekten, in denen Coins blacklist-bar oder rückbuchbar sind, mitzuarbeiten.
- Wenn Bitcoin untergeht, geht der Stern einer anderen Crypto Currency auf. Wir lernen alle dazu. Früher oder später etabliert sich eine Crypto Currency mit Exchanges und Zahlungsabwicklern, die mit Hackern klar kommen. Und so (sich selbst) einen normalen Geschäftsbetrieb & ein (nicht von gestohlenen Coins dominierties) normales Marktgeschehen erlauben.
- Ich habe keine hohe Affinität zu Bitcoin. Für mich ist Bitcoin nichts heiliges, sondern nur ein Markennamen, wie Debian, TOR, McDonalds, BMW oder Napster.

Darauf zu hoffen, dass in einem dezentralen und freien System alle einen hohen einheitlichen Sicherheitsstandard fahren ist unrealistisch.
Das regelt der Markt schon. Bin mir sicher, dies wird noch funktionieren, auch wenn es noch 3 bis 5 Jahre dauert. Kann natürlich sein, dass bis dahin Bitcoins Image vollständig zerstört ist. Dann geht es eben mit einer anderen CC weiter. Es gibt genug andere IT-Systeme die mit genauso großer und größerer Vehemenz angegriffen (weil ebenso höchst lukrativ/attraktiv) werden und die trotzdem online/sicher bleiben. z.B. Kinderporno-Netzwerke/Dienste in TOR, staatliche Militär-Infoseiten im Internet, große Forex-Broker, die klassischen E-Currency-Exchanges (wie XMLGold, BuyWMZ, ...), Real World Spielautomaten & die gesamte Spielautomaten Industrie, Real World Geldautomaten Die haben auch irgendwann(!) ein Level von Security erreicht um ihre Systeme/Netzwerke/Beschäftsbetriebe am Laufen zu halten. Klar wird da auch mal jemand pwned, wie überall, kein IT-System ist bekanntlich sicher. Aber alles bewegt sich eben noch in einem normalen Rahmen. Wenn wir irgendwann 30 große Bitcoin Startups/-Player haben, können wir damit leben, falls aller 12 bis 16 Monate mal einer - im größeren Ausmass - gehackt wird. Idealerweise sind dann eben nur 1/10 oder weniger der Gesamt-Unternehmens-Funds weg (und nicht wie heutzutage Cold Storage komplett leer) und der (Coin-)Diebstahl ist versichert gewesen. |

- Der Vergleich hier FIAT vs. Bitcoin bringt uns einfach nicht weiter. Wir können daraus weder lernen, noch Argumente & Image daraus ziehen für Diskussionen im gesellschaftlichen Mainstream oder der Presse.
Sicherlich könnte man einige auffällige Detals über diesen angeblichen (100 Banken) FIAT-Hack, aus den Presseartikeln, in Zweifel ziehen bzw. falsifizieren. Aber ich tue es nicht. Es bringt nichts. Es wäre frei von Nutzen.
- Ich traue nur den großen, westlichen VC-finanzierten Bitcoin-Startups (Coinbase, Kraken, BitPay, ...), die nachweislich mit anerkannten Industrie-Experten, Sicherheitsaudits und Multi-Signature arbeiten.
Alle anderen Amateur-Operationen werden früher oder später gehackt und leer gemacht. Sollte man sich nichts vor machen.
Diesen asiatischen Exchanges würde ich als Europäer sowieso insbesondere nicht trauen. Weil ich dort viel weniger Einblick in den Markt hab (Background Betreiber) und nicht mal die News lesen kann, wenn sie zB. auf Chinesisch ist.
Beispiel: ich misstraue BTC-E und BTC38. Aber BTC38 misstraue ich noch mehr, weil ich nichts über BTC38 weiß. Wäre ich Asiate, wäre es vielleicht anders rum.
- Positiv ist: die Summe der per Hack geklauten Funds wird i.A. immer kleiner.
(Entwicklung von: 800.000 weg bei MtGox, 140.000 weg durch Staatshacking bei Silk Road, 18.000 weg Bitstamp Hack und jetzt eben nur 7200 BTC weg bei bter.com)
- Positiv ist: jeder Hack hardet das Öko-System weiter (und sorgt im Nachgang für mehr Sicherheitsanstrengungn & -technologie) und verdeutlicht jedem Konsumenten und Business-Player die Bedeutung von Coin-Security weiter
