I think that we have to do 3 things first
+ GUI: better usability shows that XMR tech is mature and easy for mass market (== user adoption == liquidity) + Database: amount of memory required for XMR wallet is not trivial any more + Multi-signature: some deep web merchants may need it to protect their buyers
Confirmed. These things are requirements. Admins of the big relevant dark markets are very conservative vs. new technology and OpSec. They wont introduce a coin that is still developed and unproven ATM like XMR, Dark, etc. Darkcoin is in no lead regards dark market acceptance. From what I heard and read, all influencing and respected Dark Market community members (like gwern, Blackopy, mdparity, TMPSchultz ...) are either 100% undecided (and prefer to wait to see which coin is gonna fly) or slightly prefering Cryptonote-technology. If and only if Monero can prove to add real benefit to Dark Market business, Monero will get accepted at the major leading Dark Markets. The coin with the best technology will win this race to Dark Market dominance. Agressive marketing or a well-known brand (like Darkcoin) wont.

It's easy. Moneropool.com owner should sell/redirect his "unhealthy" traffic to other pools and just charge a fair fee from them.
Just set a maximum of hash power like 30% and if this is reached transparantly redirect new incoming mining traffic/connections via load balancing to other pools, that are intrested in getting this traffic. The balancing should be done transparently (like transparent HTTP proxys), meaning its automatically the miner doesnt have to change something/his setup.
I would propose the pool that receives the traffic and MP.com do an 75%/25% split on the fees, earned from the traffic they got fro MP.com. (in other words: the mining traffic buying pool is paying a 25% charge for MP.coms service of providing this mining traffic/miners)
You guys get what I am trying to say. And obvious this isnt new or rocket science. It's the exact same thing e.g. ghash.io & coinotron did in history, when they got much % of the hashpower of BTC/LTC.
The question is how can the moneropool.com owner be motivated to setup this kind of solution.

The Philippine Connection and the Truth behind CryptoRush.in We are BITCOMSEC, please see final pages of this document for more information about us, and how we can help you! PDF Available Here: http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=00012725220068358517Images, Log files and assorted research available here: https://github.com/bitcomsecdev/Research/For the last two years the crypto currency scene had exploded in size as people began learning about and participating in Bitcoin and its alternate currencies. Altcoins as people call them are smaller projects that can be mined and often traded directly for Bitcoin by miners who can not afford to mine Bitcoin directly. With this uprising of alternate currencies came the rise of many Exchanges; sites that provided a platform and medium for supporters, miners and traders of these projects to buy/sell/trade these currencies. One of these altcoin exchanges was CryptoRush.in; a site dedicated to providing a fast paced medium for users to trade brand new crypto currencies which were traded at exchanges sometimes less than an hour after they were released. Unfortunately CryptoRush suffered a series of break-ins that crushed many members of the community but also provided an opportunity for us at BITCOMSEC to research, analyse evidence and track down the perpetrators. This article details over 7 months of logs, evidence and research that we have looked at to pinpoint exactly what happened at CryptoRush, its owners and who did walk away with all that money... It is mid-September 2013 when a contractor decides to accept a job request from an employer on Elance.com. Elance is an international freelance job platform which connects businesses with freelance workers through the site as a medium with a staggering 2 million companies and 8 million freelance workers exchanging jobs, and information on a day by day basis. This job seeker turned out to be Jimmy Bluey Amatong - jbluey for short, and this is his tale. Where it begins: Shortly after being accepted for the job JBA, as we will call him from now on, got into the world of crypto currency thanks in part to another previous client: (Bild: Jimmy Bluey Amatong) With his quick introduction to mining and crypto currency came the creation of an infamous scam site called xtrapool.com. On December 12th 2013 xtrapool was created as JBA’s foray into the altcoin world; it was setup on 85.25.152.63 (which JBA still uses to host AmtechCebu.com an Amatong family owned business) and began being advertised on December 29th 2013: ...

Kaum vergleichbar. Litecoin-Miner konnten/koennen immer noch andere profitable Scrypt-Coins Alternative minen. Bitcoin-Miner bekanntlich nicht. (echtes "Abschalten" vs. Coin-Wechseln)

The way I see it, either this is the fall to 0 or there will be a significant bull run at this point.

Was ist da los???

This guy "Beorn Gonthier" isnt the creator. Software was developed and implemented by an payed web-software-developer.
Why I even reply, reading "Beorn Gonthier" a second time, it just screams lame fake pseudonym. An cryptonote.org-quality pseudonym.

Yeah, I give you and everybody else full citation and link the source. I believe information is free. Yes, still an act of professionalism to ask for permission.
As I want to support Monero out of belief, I am going work as good and professional as I can, to make the site as good as possible/perfect.

rpietila: I going to setup an Monero related website, will be: mostly text-based, fact-based, HQ content info portal.
I would like to ask you, if I am allowed to use some of your very good writings/postings about Monero on this forum, mostly from your observer thread? I want to "preserve" this content, type of information, so its on the web and burried in the thread.
