Monero has today passed DarkCoin in Price/Coin for the first time.

Tut mir leid wegen dem alten Link. Mein Fehler.
|
|

No. Because: "Our hardware supports wide range of crypto algorithms: Scrypt, Scrypt-N, X11, X13, Keccak and others." Monero uses CryptoNote.

|
|
If you look at Monero pools you'll see lots of miners with hashrates equivalent to 20,000 CPU cores and more and it wouldn't be profitable for people to buy or rent that many CPU cores.
Can you please show two or three example, where this could/was be seen? And please define "lots" so we understand, what you mean.

I would very much like a payment gateway which enables me to transparently use XMR, to send to a BTC address, and to receive BTC in the form of XMR. It's a relatively simply thing to implement, and makes it more practical to save primarily in XMR.
Implement it. I would run it for the community as stable clearnet service and HS, to support the community/ecology. (In normal TX limits. I dont have super much BTC or XMR.)

Right, so Monero is now the replacement of Bitcoin? And, I heard on the trollbox that XMR will hit $1000 a coin. If true, Monero will have a market cap greater than bitcoin, however, monero doesn't have any economy. confused! All true. Dont be confused my friend, we are working on starting the economy the next days. (+ a casino is already live)

Is it theoretically possible to fork Bitcoin and implement ring signatures? Or is the current protocol something that fundamentally can't be adapted in that way?
As far as all I heard from core-devs, as I hang out on #bitcoin-dev on IRC the whole day and read Bitcoin dev mailing list: This change (bringing in ring signatures) is so big, it will never happen, like 0,00000% chance. Its obvious possible as othe said (with an or more hard forks), but it not gonna happen.

Unlikeley that companies will run an consensus based 100% true crypto currency, where they cant manipulate.

I can provide anonymous shipping addresses in Germany (DHL Packstation logins and magnet stripe cards). Contact me, if you are part of Monero community. Can be done for free.

100% white text on Black
Also consider white text on (Dark or Navy) Blue. (lots of tshirt shops sell white text on blue color shirts, it looks good.)
Good effort btw.

LTC has very strong fundamentals. I don't know what you mean -- it has an extremely dedicated development team. They just don't have much to do much because LTC is already the perfect coin. Oh yeah, and intrinsic value. LTC has intrinsic value, dude.
You are wrong. LTC once had two developers, but Charles and Warren quit development. They lost intrest and do other work now. See: https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/graphs/commit-activity

LTC has no developer. How can you buy a coin with zero developers?

Of the 7 devs working on Monero, how many are working on it full time?
Anyone? I'm considering an investment in Monero, and this is important to me. AFAIK no one full time. Most have of them software development day jobs. (---> quality code) But they spent like 90% of their avaible free time on Monero. (my guess)

Easy question, easy answer?
What's up with DarkCoins price? Why it is imploding? Any reasons?

Who can port http://bitfreak.info/?page=tools&t=bitsci to Monero?
That would be really cool to have Monero processing software in PHP, to finally start an Monero economy. I am ready to run an Monero shop with some good digital content, but no payment processing software is avaible for Monero. Maybe we pool money and pay someone to port it? Can't be that expensive.

AFAIK Doge has DGW since > 3 months.
