4021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 30, 2019, 10:13:45 PM
Whatever happened to that guy ? His postings were always too crazy and conspiratorial to take him seriously. Sort of dropped off at some point and haven't heard much from him.

He moved to Reddit where there must be more people willing to be wowed.

https://www.reddit.com/user/jstolfi/

Judging by that he has not let up in the slightest. That's five and a half years of producing enough foam from his gob to fill an Olympic swimming pool on the hour every hour.

Why haven't his family staged an intervention? I'm not sad about his opinions. I am sad about the utter waste of his life.

4022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 30, 2019, 09:28:59 PM
Not to mention he spends his own free time writing to the SEC in their comments section how shit bitcoin is on every single ETF proposal.

Why didn’t he just buy loads of bitcoin & HODL. He was aware of bitcoin early, he’d be a multi millionaire now & not a sad wanker.

Nowt wrong with being a sceptic, or simply disliking it. It's the commitment that's freaky as you like.

Give a derisory interview or two, post a vid on Youtube of oneself dancing suggestively with a Ledger sticking out of your urethra, then leave everyone to it and get on with your life.
4023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 30, 2019, 09:19:48 PM
uuuuuh

I'm in the top 10 despite being gone for 3 years...

just what are you saying G?

You started off torturing small animals and have only grown from there.

If you look at Stolfi his numbers were put in over less than two and a half years in total.
4024  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 30, 2019, 09:04:09 PM
Fucking Stolfi, what an asshat, Professor of fucking bull shit.

Considering how dead and gone some of those posters are and how high their numbers are it goes to show how psychotic they were.
4025  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-29] CNBC-shilled cryptocurrency exchange Bitsane pulls exit scam on: June 30, 2019, 04:52:56 PM
Agreed. However, who was the newbie? The viewers who had coins in Bitsane because they listened to CNBC or CNBC who recommended Bitsane hehehe?

I reckon CNBC would never promote Bitsane if the people behind their cryptospace news shows were competent.

Incredibly stupid for any long established entity to be recommending anywhere in such a fucked up space. If they want to hype they can still do it without naming names.

If money did change hands, and I can't imagine any other reason why they'd nominate such a nothing fuckhole, then someone should be ending the day with a smacked botty.
4026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I am so frustrated with bitcoin on: June 30, 2019, 12:46:26 PM
Let's revisit this in a few months. Bubbles are psychology. That never changes. The psychology of alts will never change either. Enough people will always believe they're 'cheaper' when temps are high.

No doubt a ton will never return to previous valuations but some will far exceed them no matter how much of an empty piss take they are.
4027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I am so frustrated with bitcoin on: June 30, 2019, 08:34:05 AM
I would start here - https://www.bbb.org/consumer-complaints/file-a-complaint/get-started

Then here - http://en.kremlin.ru/contacts

And this will probably get the result you're looking for. These guys are the ones making other governments do their bidding even when they're unaware of it. That's true power - https://www.tristandc.com/contacts.php
4028  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: June 29, 2019, 10:44:33 PM
It's so sad that people like this one still exists.

Woman only good for fucking and sucking, they just a toy.  They don't have any actual intelligence like men do.

Not particularly surprised myself. One rarely hears positive opinions expressed about women here. I've seen posters start to become intensely uncomfortable when a female enters a thread and declares herself. And it's probably just another fat male recluse trying to get some obscene PMs anyway.
4029  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 29, 2019, 10:37:57 PM
Seals are uniquely stupid cunts

Sheesh, this place is a regular cuntfest. They're on here. They're even in the sea.
4030  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Becoming hero/legendary from scratch is it possible now??? on: June 29, 2019, 10:29:34 PM
If I remember rightly it took me about three and a bit years to become legendary under the old system which was of course a bunch simpler. All you had to do was shitpost for long enough without getting nuked.

Probably by the end of the year I'll have earned 1000 merits and the system was introduced in January 2018 so that's two or so years. I wouldn't exactly class myself as a quality poster but I try not to spout totally mindless shit. If I can do it then any old donkey can. All it takes is some alertness, interest and self awareness.

If it's an aim to do it from scratch for better or worse there are areas of this forum where you won't get enough merit no matter how good a poster you are. Alts is obviously the biggest merit desert as few users have any merit of their own to give away.

Meta appears to be where the merit rains. I'm not completely sure why.

As for buying an account, people are getting ever more vigilant about this and as it's so much harder to rank up they're more protective about any old asshole waltzing straight into a sold legendary account. I personally wouldn't ever feel totally at ease with an account like that. You never know when someone will unearth you.
4031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin remains the king of Crypto Market? on: June 29, 2019, 09:59:52 PM
Yes.

There are now proper rumblings of Big Money. Few of them are expressing much interest in anything other than BTC. Once they're in place and have some decent traction any chance of a 'Bitcoin killer' coming along will be vastly less likely.

I'm still far from convinced about lightning networks, but if BTC is fully entrenched the incentive is there to attempt to build further function on top of that, not lash up some nothing chain that will never get anywhere.
4032  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whats fair price for Legendary Account? on: June 29, 2019, 09:45:38 PM
I believe that you are from Nigeria, and you are a farmer. As a Guy working in IT sector i can say you that dont invest in such assets which are meant to pass the line quickly. You earn money by hard work toiling day and night in farms, your money is not worth of such accounts.

Lol sad to say this but if he was in one of those signature campaigns, he would make a lot more than doing hard work all day in a field.

There seems to be quite a bit of automated resentment against people in less developed places making good money on here, as if it's some sort of cheating.

I've never really got it. If you're in the right campaign here and make the right moves you could be making more than your local police chief or heart surgeon.

That's to be celebrated in my eyes. Of course if you're doing it by mindless shitposting that's not good but you're not going to last anyway.
4033  Other / Off-topic / Re: Kleiman v. Wright case 6/28/19 (show cause) hearing likely open... follow 'live' on: June 29, 2019, 09:10:36 PM
This is getting really laughable. Are the guys in court that naive?!

I presume they're wondering who the fuck these people are and what the fuck they're all playing at. That goes for the Kleiman too. I wonder if there's been a bigger waste of time and effort in recent times than this crap.
4034  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitsane Pulls Exit Scam on: June 29, 2019, 08:52:16 PM
I have never heard of bitsane, like ever, and I am surprised the number of people that have used it and kept the amount of funds in it. Coindesk reported that a user allegedly lost 150,000$ on there.

Me too. This is the first time I've ever heard of this place in my entire life.

I'd love to know how it got in with Ripple enough to be listed on their site plus the CNBC recommendation or wherever it was. Presumably since they've shamelessly exit scammed they put no identifiable info out there which makes their endorsements doubly weird.

Cheers brother, do not spend BTC’s Cheesy

Actually I spent some on swimming with seals. They didn't like me. Probably because I can't swim. Their loss.

try the dolphins

I hear they aren't very picky

Due to an inappropriate incident in Poole harbour I'm not allowed within 100 metres of a dolphin. I would like to point out the legal restrictions have been placed on dolphins, not myself.

$12,000 acting as a sell off point? Is it psychological or something? We don’t seem to be able to stay above it for very long at the moment.

Is there going to be a mic classic tonight? (Pissing).

I’m just drinking Prosecco at home, not out tonight. My girl is really drunk though, fucking annoying. She’s singing with earphones in, drinking. Roll Eyes

This is where I'm at tonight.

I stand for family fun AND family values and this is the type of place that's perfect to preserve them. I will be conducting a Sharia patrol later on.
4038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK - based service that issues cards, anyone? on: June 29, 2019, 06:37:18 PM
Go on localbitcoins.com , and just sell your coins.

Using Localbitcoins drives banks nuts and UK banks are pretty twitchy at the best of times. Multiple transactions from multiple different people will make them very paranoid.

I totally get where OP is going. Having fiat availability without your bank involved is worth some hassle and percentage in fees.

If OP has a vast amount in crypto he may as well do large one time sell which may be more palatable to a bank if they're given some warning.
4039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK - based service that issues cards, anyone? on: June 29, 2019, 06:33:23 PM
Coinbase and Wirex both do GBP Visa debit cards. Both aren't super cheap to use in terms of fees but the actual card part works fine.

With Wirex you have to manually convert your crypto in app to GBP and load it on the card. With Coinbase it's linked to your crypto account balance and you spend whenever from there.
4040  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Insurance on: June 29, 2019, 06:29:44 PM
Plenty of financial markets self insure with pooled funds or governments back it such as bank deposits.

No conventional insurance company would touch it with a barge pole unless they had full control of the process.

They should be using an escrow that releases or returns the funds on evidence of results. NEM has a venture fund that works just like this. Of course no ICO operation will do that as they 'need' $10 million in ETH to maintain their one page website.
