I appeared to sync but as soon as I unlocked my wallet for staking it had a bunch of blocks and now I am disconnected.

your coins need to be 4 days old to start staking Not 6 hours? Guys if your wallet disconnects or acts funny just give it some time. Leave it opened for awhile if nothing changes close it and re-open it again. |

Thats a pretty big amount, wondering what and when that person decides to dump could destroy DCM.

Oh thats a relief, was worried that 1 person had all those coins. Really like the multipool idea, using multipools power against them  That would've been a serious problem if one person had all those coins. Thank god its not the case. I'm confident of this coin . Do we have a roadmap or something? Currently there are some items scheduled for the next release, including X11, PoS (these two are not finalized but very likely), updating to latest Litecoin code, Android version, and a few misc items. Development would be faster if there was funding for it, but it is still a serious crypto currency with real time support. Please bear in mind that because the community plays a large role in the value and growth of a coin, any independent initiatives involving the crypto ecosystem are highly encouraged. These can be as simple as making a sticker and putting it on your bike, or more complex like integrating SMC as a currency into a gaming or trade platform. Premine could be used for funding... Its been awhile, totally forgot about SMC. Had to sell my SMC a month ago for about 20$ from my initial 2000$ investment which sucks. Had to start rebuilding my capital back. I know this might be crazy but I think a relaunch of SMC would be the best thing for this coin with all the new features that are now developed along with creating a thread to record everyone that has SMC and simply compensate the old SMC holders with the new SMC coins (a small premine should do the job). I doubt people would disagree, everyone lost alot already and their investment's are basically dead so relaunching SMC now might get their investment back along with possible big profit. I'm sure there are extra devs on the forum that would participate in the relaunch. |

UpdateAnonymous TransactionsWhen BoostCoin was launched, anonymous transaction features were not intended to be a part of the project, But since so many people have requested it i can see this being the must have standard for future coins. At the moment there is only a handful of technologies that claim to be able to achieve this, each in very different ways. A lot of the new coins being released, including some of the direct clones of BoostCoin and also claiming to be 'adding' it, i suppose time will tell... I want to say once and for all that i am experimenting with features in BoostCoin at the moment. But as you can appreciate this is a very new technology with virtually no information available on the internet to help the development process along. And being the only coder on the team only make this process even more difficult. At this stage i cannot guarantee that these new features will work correctly and can also say they wont be ready to release for a long time. Not until all these technologies mature and prove themselves. It's best to have a proven technology, that to release something crap that will make us crash and burn! At the end of the day i love developing stuff, and learning new technologies along the way, but this is more of a journey rather than a destination. and i'm glad to be a part of this Mining BoostCoinToday the Proof of Work phase will end for BoostCoin which means there will be no more direct mining the coin. But the idea of multipooling BoostCoin so that your x13 hashing power can still be utilised is a great idea, I would like some suggestions from the community on how we could best achieve this. i can try compile one its usually not so difficult, and many very good developers still don't know how to do it. even if they write perfect code.. you need homebrew or macports and install dependencies, and use macdeploy script to create package with all dependencies "Great" developer.
Still no Mac wallet...
The Developer claims he has 3 people working for him. So a team of 4 members. And they still struggle to get mac wallet out. Instead of fixing few mistakes in hes coin source code, the dev spams "vote for mintpal" tens of times per day. I already compiled a mac wallet long time ago. It took me 15 minutes. There is couple of easy mistakes made in source code which need to be fixed before it compiles on mac. If developer had any coding skills at all, he would have fixed this a long time ago. By the looks of it the dev isn't even listening to anyone, keeps spamming to vote on mintpal. If your wondering why its pretty simple, he has shitload of BOST from premine and the coins being held at the so called foundation those are probably going to be dumped. Trying to get on mintpal so its value is pumped and he dumps everything, takes profit and leaves the coin to die. Rinse and repeat. There has been no news with the MAC wallet, not even a slight update. No solution to fight multi-pools. I am sure he's happy with multipools mining the hell out of this coin as hes making some on each solved block. Doesn't seem right for a coin with a new algo... |

Happy to see SMC is still alive, was worried for a minute there but noticed that the value hasn't tanked for a few days.

Dev should sell the premine? Are you mental or are you the dev himself? Its worth so little now, like 0.2 BTC. Let him take what is left from his 6 BTC investment. He did put time into this coin and can no longer continue due to his REAL life job. Shit happens but wouldn't be nice to leave with something? You could buy a million SMC for 2 BTC at the current rate. Our market cap is almost 10,000$!!! With 25 BTC you could buy all SMC that exists. Your worried about the 100k premin worth less than a 100$? If the Dev is telling the truth and invested 6 BTC he leaves with nothing? |

This is a huge mess, some people are on the old fork, others on the new fork. Some pools still didn't change to the new fork. Cryptsy still on the old fork and not responding or changing to the new fork.
Its not their fault nor the dev fault well alittle since he's been busy with work but I this is caused by the appearance of a shitload of new coins in the past month. I mean I haven't been following the crypto scene lately and I was just taking a look at coinmarketcap and noticed there's so many new coins now.
Pool owners keep creating new pools for each coin, exchanges adding coins non-stop. Now when a pool owner has 50 pools for different coins how the hell are they suppose to follow each coin's development like wallet updates or forks? This goes to exchanges too.
This reminds of the paid-to-click scene a few years back. Same thing is happening but in a different form: cryptocurrencies.
I invested in SMC about 2 BTC~1600$ at the time and my investment is currently sitting at about 30$.
Investing in cryptos especially alt cryptos besides litecoin is the worst and riskiest investment there is. Gambling is considered a safer investment compared to crpytos.
I've already written off my losses but still holding my SMC, in my eyes my investment is gone. If SMC manages to come back I'll be happy with the free cash I make.
No one should complain or flame the dev, when you investment into cryptos you knew the risks.
