I would prefer closed source code  I say open source without onejury. You can't avoid illegal activity, people use paper money for illegal activity. With or without onejury there's still going to be illegal activity. People always find a way around it, doesn't matter what you do there's always a way. Everything that was invented has its goods and bads, bitcoin is one example. I think we owe to the creator of bitcoin to have everything opensource. CLoak devs will always and forever be remembered for being the creators of onemarket and other features. You guys haven't noticed how cryptos have evolved. Bitcoin was the first, litecoin the second copy but a better version then came pouring in the litecoin clones. New Algos were being created then anonymous features. Bitcoin was the first crypto and still the 1st crypto in the world, copy cats are dead. Litecoin is still the silver of cryptos and still strong even though there are better alts than it but it was the first scrypt coin. Copy cats are dead Then came anonymous features: Darkcoin, first of its kind and look at it now, copy cats try to compete but are all crap and are dying/dead. (mostly Pump and dumps). Next in line is Decentralized markets with real anon features, Cloak hopefully the first, there will be copy cats but Cloak will still be the first and the strongest. Copy cats live then die pretty quick (P&D coins once more). A coin that comes up with a new innovation never dies and never gets taken over by another coin unless it has better innovations and features. People will copy cloaks features eventually but crypto community evolve and figure out the copy cats are all shit coins eventually. What I think is the real breakthrough that will make cloak is oneledger. |

I bought at 30 and still holding.
I bought at 20 Pretty sure Artoo was referring to buying XC at 80k. Not Cloak. I have my sell orders for Cloak set at 130-180, some of them already got filled. I want to hold longer, but considering whales and pumpers have been bragging about it for the past week is a red flag to me. Also dont forget that even after the POSA countdown announcement a couple weeks ago, the price went down to as low as 34k. Its seen a 4x-5x increase since. Dont be surprised to see POSA already priced in. Just saying. CloakCoin and DarkCoin have almost the same amount of coins available. The way I look at it, that either means this is horribly underpriced, or DarkCoin is horribly overpriced. I'm leaning towards the former, so that's why I'm not nearly selling this low. Cloak only has 4.5 million coins. Drk has 22 million Total number of coins does not matter... The important matter is how many instamined coins does the whales have to be able to control a market and to pump that market... With DRK, that number is very high, that's why dark was pumped that high... Look at ppl who bought in at ~0.02, they'll never touch that price again before the coin will be forgotten and ppl will move to something new, or some coin offering more things on the table... Anon features start to look for many as it really is, an useless thing, which you can't use because you don't have the places accepting it...meh... Its not all about anon features, its how it works. I'm personally not banking on anon features, onemarket, oneledger is where we see the real innovations. There's quite abit of additional features down the pipeline. Using POS protocol to create anon transactions is quite a smart idea and this could be use for other things too. I still don't see the difference between drk anon feature and coin mixers, its price jumped so high because they were the first to come with with the idea of anon transactions, whales have had their part too. OneMarket is nothing special at all, anybody can create a classifieds website to list items for X coin, and have a script into the wallet displaying the listings on the website...it piece of cake and nothing special...the real problem with something like this is the incentive to use such a thing... why should I sell my things for cloakcoin, this is the real question...I can sell them directly for Bitcoin in the near future on eBay... Good luck with ebay. Before starting a debate, please read the whitepaper of onemarket at least. Your seem to have no clue on how its suppose to work. |
