1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: May 01, 2023, 02:02:38 PM
-cut-
many gambling addicts have lost their minds because their desire to continue gambling overpowers their common sense, hence the importance of "gambling responsibly"
-cut-
That's why it's called addiction and should be taken seriously. For many people it's not something you can shake off but as addictive as drugs. If you could add possibility of financial gains to drugs, that instantly becomes more addictive as well. There's really no common sense in addictions in general and addicted people are acting very much against their best judgement because they don't get that same kind of dopamine rush from anywhere else.

Addiction to gambling is a serious thing that many people fail to realize.

When anyone is addicted to gambling, he or she is out of his mind and he/she fails to distinguish between right and wrong. They have the urge and need to gamble for that they will sell their things, take loans, and do whatever they can for gambling. Even though they are losing in gambling yet they still want to take more risks with the hope to win. Such people are a burden to their families as their families have to suffer a lot of financial issues because of this bad habit of addicted gamblers.

Addiction is very serious or on a critical stage when you considered this kind of situation in your head just to maintain the gambling addiction you have. It's like you are addicted on drugs when you do this kind of thing. Being financially responsible is the least you can expect with a gambling addict but making it worst like this or affecting your own family financial status is just a very irresponsible move. I'm an addicted gambler before but I didn't get into this kind of situation, Affecting others with your addiction more over breaking the law because of the addiction you have is just very serious. Person who even think of this needed a psychological help from a professional.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors so sceptical about Altcoins? on: May 01, 2023, 01:42:10 PM
investors are skeptical of altcoins because when bearish altcoins really show their true nature,
yes altcoins drop to -90% and some even -99%, you know how SRM, FTT, SOLANA, LUNA and many others experience this,
this is why I also very skeptical of altcoins even big investors nowadays are also very careful.
This only happened when the investor bought the certain altcoin on the peak price or in short, The bull market. There are a lot of new coins born during the bull market and I personally don't find it worth to hold since we all know that most of those coins will drop their value if they hit the bear market. Investing during the bear market is different because the peak market cycle price haven't materialized yet or there is a great potential of the price getting very high. This is why successful investors are buying on a winter market and selling during the bull market and the cycle will repeat itself.
1043  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dexsport.io ⚡ the first decentralized crypto sports betting platform on: May 01, 2023, 01:22:16 PM
They got busted so fast. This thread doesn't even last for a month before receiving scam accusations. This shows that we don't really cater scam and we want to help each other by giving warning to this forum. I suggest to victims to post a scam accusation with proofs in the Scam accusation board for it to be recognized as scam casinos. This is why I don't even try playing on new casino because the chance of you being scammed is so high. Be careful guys especially on new casinos.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: they change the way we handle money and own things ? on: April 30, 2023, 07:40:14 PM
There are actually different ways to handle money now. Some still use the old-school style and some do try the newly created applications.
Now, it's always up to who will use it. You cannot force something that ain't gonna be understood by the mass. If they prefer the traditional ways then they can stick with it.
If it's about the handling of the financial system then I do believe many things could be achieved faster and more accurately by adopting the new inventions of applications. But as I said, it will depend on who and what will it be for.
Mass adoption though had always been the hardest part to accomplish, there will be those who will be against it and that never ends.
The technology we have today is far greater than the technology we have few years ago where we want a massive cryptocurrency adaptation to happen. Today, masses has several improved options to use to aid their financial system but we can see that it's not yet enough to gain the trust of the public. I think the public isn't satisfied with the current offering to switch or use cryptocurrency as their primary way to do finance but yes, cryptocurrency projects are striving to capture the heart of masses with their project offerings. Sooner or later, We should expect a one of a kind project that will capture the heart of the public.
1045  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Question] Bitcoin to Fiat alternative on: April 30, 2023, 07:15:29 PM
There's an alternative like mentioned above pero kung gusto mong almost exact version like binance p2p is pwede mo itry yung bybit p2p. Again one time ko palang siya nagamit pero same na same yung experience ko sa bybit if I will compare it to binance p2p. I wonder why switch a platform from binance?
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next bull market comes in June on: April 30, 2023, 06:23:45 PM
There is no confirmed date when start bull market but definitely we can understand of this year last month. You can see btc price not move on yet so btc price without no expected altcoins green market. I have no tensions because i am a little invest but bull market urgently indeed for billionr investors. Anyway altcoin rising possible but after rising btc price.
There wouldn't be an actual confirmed date. Anyone who can pin point the exact date is just bluffing since everything here is just speculative. We can predict the range of the possible bull market time with the help of technical and fundamental analysis but I believe no one really pin point the date of the start of a bull market. There are signs that the bull market will arrive like forming new trends and arrival of big investors that will certainly hype people. Altcoin prices will just rise as bitcoin rises unless we can see an opposite effect this upcoming bull market, No one really knows.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: April 30, 2023, 05:50:28 PM
Bitcoin or ethereum will be the obvious choice. I could buy a whole bitcoin with that budget and just wait for years to grow. I won't take the risk on investing on other altcoins since trends changes and the likelihood that they can be replaced next bull market is high. Choosing a meme coin like DOGE or Shib is just for mad lad. I personally don't want to risk that kind of money into something that is very high risk. The chances of you getting a higher profit on meme coins or dog coins is high but the risk of you losing is much higher in my opinion. I would probably take the safe way and invest on the proven and tested bitcoin and the number one altcoin which is eth.

I don't understand what is the difference between amateur gamblers and pro gamblers, is it seen from the capital they have, or what? Maybe it's true that what distinguishes it is the amount of money owned, because if what differentiates it is skill, I don't think there are any special skills that a gambler must have.
Gambling really has to be in a good mood, because the pleasure of playing will disappear if our mood is not good, maybe we will even do something reckless when playing with a bad mood

@Jody.Drummer I was an addicted gambler who lost lots of his savings while gambling and especially chasing my loses, but after a point I took help and now I only play with surplus money and I advise all to do the same. Also for me a pro gambler knows when to stop, when to chase his loss and most importantly he only plays with the money he can afford to lose and this is my personal definition only.
Self awareness and self control is one of the qualities of a pro gambler. It's a basic characteristic of every professional gambler and you won't climb in a professional level if you don't have those qualities. Being a professional is earned and not by just simply having a lot of money to spend on casino. Professional gamblers do stake a lot of money on every session they have because they earned it for a long time. I'm an ex addicted gambler too and self control is the first thing you need to have if you want to stop being addicted. It's hard to achieve, I had a countless of self reflection before I accepted the fact that I'm addicted and have a ton of losses  that's not possible to comeback.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: April 29, 2023, 10:05:43 PM
Hello everyone, I made my first post here and the words of advice were really touching(maybe it's because I am weak-hearted) and encouraging. Thank you all for making me feel at home.

Now back to my question. My thoughts were that alternative(Alt) coins were created by organizations or developers to serve as a digital currency for their product or service, or improve on the shortcomings of their parent coin. I believed an alt coin with a real purpose was here to stay like Bitcoin.

But reading certain threads made me realize that my thoughts might be flawed and that maybe alt coins are good for making short gains and not long since some analysts believe they are subject to pump and dump. So would like to know

1. What will happen to alt coins when Bitcoin becomes a legal tender? Will they have a massive growth,or would people sell and jump into  Bitcoin?

2. What would happen to alt coins when Bitcoin becomes relatively stable( when it is fully mined and will solve its problem of price volatility)? Will alt coins survive the test of time? Will new alt coins be created later? What would become of the various countries'currencies, especially the Dollar (the global reserve currency) after Bitcoin's general acceptance?

3. If alt  coins survive in the next century what is the reason it would.

4. Should alt coins be traded rather than HODL?
My answers are based on my personal opinions and speculations.
1. I believe that leading altcoins will increase it's price. Most of the altcoins actually can grow in price when bitcoin grows in price. Though it is still a speculation since anything can change for years now. If majority of the country accept bitcoin as a legal tender, Then we can expect prices to soar up as well as majority of altcoins.

2. If bitcoin somehow becomes stable like having a sideways pattern, I think the prices of altcoins will depend on their utility and popularity I guess? and on how the market will value the coin in it's current standing.

3. Their utility, popularity and a good project team. No project will survive if none of those exist in a project.

4. Traded. Majority of the altcoins are just being replaced every bull market, This is factual and I don't expect less popular altcoins to survive multiple bull run IMO.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your opinion on shikoku inu? on: April 29, 2023, 09:09:12 PM
I think shikoku inu coin is still very unclear and high risk, I don't want to say that don't invest in coins like this, but in reality meme coins like this will end up dying sooner or later
will definitely die and will be abandoned when the developer has made a fortune from the hype that has been made. meme coins are also appearing frequently nowadays due to the success of AIDOGE on the arbitrum network. more and more emerging memecoins are obscure and just want to capitalize on the AIDOGE hype that hasn't died down. there are even many traps that will harm many people through the memecoin hype as it is today. must be more careful not to lose money for free.
Scammers also follow the trend. We have seen a lot of late comer projects that had been only made because of the hype. This token might be one of those. When the hype is dead, The token also will either be rugged or will be abandoned. Always expect new token during a new trend given that many scammers also want to make money from it. It's not bad to invest in this kind of tokens, Though the risk factor is just so high that investors such as newbies will easily lose their investment if they don't know how to play the sh*tcoin game. This is why I don't recommend buying meme coin or sh*tcoin because newbies are the one who are being the fuel of the hype.

  • "Kristocurrency"
  • "Iglesia ni Crypto"
  • "Pray to Earn"
  • "Cryptojerusalem"
  • "To the moonheaven"

Do we have an update kung ano ang magiging name ng kanilang token?
Pinipigilan kong tumawa kase baka magka minus points ako pero this one really hits me.  Grin

Anyway, if the purpose is good then why not but I think the church should stay away from this kind of investment and don't force their followers to buy or invest into something because that is already beyond their calling. Well, there's a big money in church and there's no doubt for this.
Parang you can give donation sa simbahan using crypto then bibigyan ka nila ng token nila as an acknowledgement. I doubt that their plan will work. Even me wouldn't donate to a project like this kasi I believe na isa itong way to do corruption.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: April 29, 2023, 07:07:55 PM
People will try to use AI for making profits, in gambling, or some other ways. I think some people are already deep into that... it's a question is it working for them or not? When it comes to poker, AI can't destroy it, and I am sure it will not work perfectly all the time... just like I have lucky and unlucky days, AI will have them too. And can you imagine a table with all AI players? In the end, someone needs to lose on that table... poker and cards can be crazy sometimes, I am not sure that AI is aware of that.
This is not worth risking big money and account with experiments like this.
I think that casinos would notice something strange is happening and that human is not playing this poker game, maybe even ban use of this, but AI bot would not mean more profit for player.
They can only learn and repeat what was done before and it is not easy to repeat that in poker games, with different players and stakes.

Its just that some gamblers do not know that many casinos are so smart that they have not detectors and if they find out that they have a particular customer that seems to be using not to book games and bet on there platform, they wouldn't waste time to block the account and make sure that the gamblers do not have access to the account because it break there terms and conditions.
Any person that want to use AI to bet on casino should do that on their own peril because many gambling casinos frown against the use of AI or bot on their platform.

Any suspicious act of gamblers could be tracked by casinos so there's no way Chat GPT could destroy any casino games, especially poker. It's fine to rely on it sometimes in case we need help and guidance because of confusion but we should always use it as a tool to abuse the casino. The casino has the right and prerogative to ban or restrict abusive players anytime. It is better to enjoy the game using our own skills and strategy so we won't face the consequences in the future.
I think casinos are safe from ChatGPT, the gambling systems are development for decades and are safe. Now only think that could change that are quantum computers since they are a different beast in global and big danger for aspects of life even for gambling.
For ChatGPT, Yes because it's a chatbot but it doesn't mean that systems are safe with in the use of AI. I'm pretty sure that in the future, Someone will develop an AI for primarily to beat out casino games. AI development today is hyper fast and no wonder if there's a developer that is trying to be rich in developing an gambling focused AI. I don't know what is the the connection of quantum computers, If we are talking about AI, A high spec computer can run an AI and it's computation I believe, there's no need for something like quantum computers.
1053  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [LIST]Cryptocurrency Platform sa Pilipinas. on: April 29, 2023, 06:03:25 PM

Masyadong generalize at dapat maging specific sa list since local board tayo.
I agree, I think mas better kung Philippine company or Philippine based yung mga nasa list like pouch.ph, coins.ph or pdax. Pwede din ma include paymaya or gcash since may crypto features na sila. I also agree na international na kasi yung iba, Kung mag susupport local tayo dapat yung mga nasa list is Philippine based kasi normally sila yung always nasa crypto events at even crypto promotions nila is for PH residents only.

I hope mapalitan ni OP yung mga nasa list kasi kung ganyan yung list ehhh halos lahat ng website for crypto is passable mapasok sa list.
1054  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: DOH Twitter na Hacked, Promoting Fake Crypto Airdrop on: April 28, 2023, 08:10:38 PM
I wonder if may nauto nitong super obvious scam looking website.
1055  Local / Pilipinas / Re: {Babala}: Mag-ingat sa P2P trading on: April 28, 2023, 07:38:12 PM
Happened to me once on Binance, Madami na ding gumagawa nito noon pa at until ngayon meron pa pala.
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoiner still support the use of centralized exchanges? on: April 28, 2023, 07:04:53 PM
I did some research on Bitcoin because I was interested in it, and I discovered that the key principles of Bitcoin are peer-to-peer, anonymity, pseudonymity, decentralization, and operating without a middleman to ensure that Bitcoiners can have financial freedom. However, despite knowing that Bitcoiners adhere to these tenets, why do some Bitcoiners act contrary to them? Why do they continue to support centralized exchanges, use them, and retain their Bitcoin there?
Not all people who has bitcoin are inclining the bitcoin characteristics on how they use it. Most of the people who has bitcoin today treat bitcoin as an investment and doesn't really care how bitcoin really works. As long as they have profits and they are still earning, they will continue to have bitcoin. I'm sure they won't use a decentralized exchange because of the fees that they hate, Instead they will just rely on the centralized exchange that has a massive fee differences. It's a hard to swallow pill that centralized exchange is part of crypto and it definitely has it's part on the growth of majority of the cryptocurrency. I don't think that centralized exchanges will become obsolete in the near future.
1057  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: April 28, 2023, 05:56:08 PM
There is no point to argue about this further but yeah Im going to try flush's original game as well after they launched it
We apologize for the delay in the launch of Flush Original Games. We're doing everything we can to release Flush Originals as soon as possible. In the meantime, please feel free to check out the other games that are currently available.
It seems that there are gamblers patiently waiting for the original game you are about to release. I recommend to don't rush it and take your time developing and perfecting it. There's no sense on releasing a bugged game especially you are a casino. You potential gamblers will just be disappointed if they found your original game bugged or not really doing the intended features. I have no idea about the original game you are about to release but I hope it's truly an original concept game so that we gamblers can try out new games. The new game you are about to release might be your catalyst on making your casino popular or not.
1058  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 28, 2023, 05:21:01 PM
Many got always get reminded for that as this topic is always discussed everywhere and its just there are still lazy people exist then ignore this actions because they can't afford to read long words written. Then just proceed without any hesitation, I don't know why they ignore the warnings since this is really important for a player to know what those casino prohibits and what they can do for the casino they are playing.
If there is prohibition about something and players still do the same thing it's consider violation of the rules for which they have to face consequences but they don't look at these terms first of all which we have already talked about so now taking it long is no fun because you have to follow the changes rules that's it.
People are lazy and that's a given and even if we say it should account them and it will cost them some money, they'll not care as long as it's convenient for them to play without inconvenience. Well, that's always the case when playing on casinos but if you're winning or something they'll start to notice and impose those prohibitions. It's ironic to think but casinos should be strict too on the very first day and be consistent throughout your playing days.
So this means that they will disrupts players while playing because they find that a certain player is not following the rules? Also I think that the casino thinks that it is more efficient to block people during withdrawals as people who don't follow rules will be filtered out. Though it's somehow unfair for gamblers who don't follow the rules given that the only moment they know that they are being flagged is when they win. But I guess it's all the gamblers fault given that they don't follow the rules at the first place. People are actually lazy reading rules but when they got flagged, They are very enthusiastic on making long post like scam accusations.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: April 27, 2023, 03:45:33 PM
This makes me to wonder if bounties really pay.
There are so many bounty projects in this space. Few of them pay. Most become scams. But if you work carefully, you will be able to earn some income from here with little effort and no capital. Like last 24 april REEL bounty gave payment. 4 weeks of work each earned about $120. So I would say definitely bounties pay.
Oh that's nice. It seems there are still bounty campaign that is worthy to join after all. Bounty hunters just need to be careful and inspect the project carefully before joining unless they will earn nothing. For years now, I haven't see any one earn a remarkable amount from bounty campaign if we compared it to bounty campaign last 2016-2017 where majority of the bounty campaign pays really well. I remember the days where bounty campaign is the preference of majority of the members here due to lucrative payment and token value. The problem with todays bounty campaign is it is full of multi accounters that's why the token pool is divided to many people which result in low payment compared before where a 100 people joining a campaign is too many.

Hi just new to here. I want to know what are the good altcoins that can be invest and forget until 2026. I'm currently thinking to spend around 600$ for altcoins. Right now I'm holding BNB & ETH only as altcoins. Don't say buy BTC cuz already have nice amount since 2010.

Is it good to invest in HOOk, SUI , ARB or ID altcoins? Since they are new just thought to give a try. Thank you
If you have the major altcoins, I guess we can choose between the options you have provided. My best bet to those choices is ARB. ARB is pretty speculative to me but with the support that I see from the community, The projects that is built with layer 2, I think it would be the next trend during the bull market. I have some ARB in my wallet just in case the prices explodes in the future. Those coins you provided is the being talked by the community and still being hyped because the distribution of those tokens are airdrop. I guess it's ok also to invest on those knowing that they have enough exposure and support.
