1121  Economy / Gambling / Re: Information of Crypto Casinos License and KYC requirements on: April 13, 2023, 05:14:07 PM
Actually there are instances authorities or state is supporting gambling activities; lotteries and horse racing are to name a few. What makes them legal in countries gambling is prohibited, is simply taxation. In my country, lottery operators are under government by means of registration. In such way, casinos or gambling platforms are being considered. But in this industry wherein transactions occur in chains and with anonymity,  it would be hard to imply such system. It is not the blame which makes the legalization a big deal but the social norm in accordance with the bible and also the manner of taxation given how it contributes to a country's economy. Therefore, there's an excemption in some cases.
In any casino that is regulated, they must always give answers or give explanations to the governments, because otherwise they would be left without their licenses, they would not be left alone, I lived in a country where casinos and betting games were not legal, for 20 years they were suspended only because the government was dictatorial, the one that exists now is dictatorial but accepts the casinos, but they have to pay them very well, it is the only way they can operate, otherwise it is illegal and they can go to jail, it's hard.
It's understandable that the government should tax those casinos but I believe a government that is dictatorial that change it's mind to legalized gambling again will ask for a hefty tax to them. These will leave smaller casino not to operate in that country given that most of their profit will only go to the government which big casino can prosper given that they don't have much competition in that market in that country. Casinos will just comply to that certain country requirements just to operate, if not I'm sure the operators will surely be put in jail especially that your country is dictatorial.
1122  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asking me for KYC although their site explicitly states no KYC on: April 13, 2023, 04:53:56 PM
I have been playing some time now on justbit.io. Won some money, and my account stands approx 8 mbtc. I asked to withdraw 5 mbtc and today they asked me for KYC procedure (ID and other stuff). By their site states explicitly that they do not ask for KYC if crypto was used to deposit. This sounds me like scam. They will not pay me
Sounds like when you were going through the terms and conditions of the casino before you started gambling there, you only searched for terms and conditions regarding some key details like KYC verification and did not take time to read through the whole thing. You did good even trying to read the KYC in the first place, but you will do better just as everyone else here if you read the whole thing. That I know can be stressful, but it is advisable because only then will you get the whole scope of the terms and conditions and know if you will still play there or not.
I am a strong opponent of identity verification when it comes to gambling with cryptocurrencies.
Because KYC with cryptocurrency payments is just a mockery of common sense and the very idea of anonymity of cryptocurrency payments.  Bitcoin itself was invented by Satoshi to preserve the anonymity of payments.
This is the main meaning and advantages of cryptocurrencies!!!

Here is another example, when, in general, the casino will simply not pay a large amount of money to the player if he does not tell exactly who he is and where he lives.  And he will give his personal personal data.  In these dirty tricks that casinos constantly do, apparently there is a lot of sense for them.  After all, the money will not be partially returned to those who do not want or even simply cannot go through KYC for their own reasons.  Sometimes it's not even safe for the player or can cause serious trouble.

I'm sorry, but I must admit that now "sudden KYC" is always to be expected even from any casino.
Alas!  All of them are afraid to break the laws, which are becoming tougher in relation to the population.
And on the control of finances in the first place.
It's sad that most casino is now asking for KYC. Non-KYC casino is a luxury on our current standards this is why new casino has these no-KYC offerings to have an edge to other established casino. Our only choices is to pick new casino that has no-KYC that has a potential to ask kyc on the future or a good casino that is establish but ask for KYC or a decentralized casino where fees are everywhere. Actually casinos don't really care on the anonymity that satoshi want, They just want to earn profit as a business and we can't really much do anything about it since it's their platform. Let's just hope that in the future there will be a decentralized casino that will offer an equivalent service just like a centralized casino that don't have too many fees to use.
1123  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bybit P2P Exchange Scam Modus on: April 11, 2023, 11:54:43 PM
I've experienced this  fake SMS scam before on binance p2p and unfortunately this is still being done by scammers on bybit. Never trust anyone no matter how good they talk or how good their score are. After experiencing this kind of scam method, I stop trading on people who doesn't convince me with their ratings eben if they offer higher exchange offer to those rating who really stands out. This is avoidable even if you noticed it late as long as you haven't sent the money. Appeal button is always be your friend. Though it's a hassle given that there is some process to it. It's just better to avoid it and just sacrifice few penny gains than a big hassle.
1124  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin price trajectory gamit ang AI on: April 11, 2023, 11:28:04 PM
With the rise of AI. Still mahirap padin mag tiwala kasi wala pang AI history na na predict yung galaw nf bitcoin pero according sa image na included sa post is mukang logical naman yung sagot ng AI and possible siya. Naka depende nalang sa point of view natin if ok ba saatin yung sinabi ng AI. Long term personally is bullish ako sa bitcoin and I know majority satin yung ganun kaya yung laman ng internet is bullish din long term, this is why I see na ganun din ang AI since finefeed lang sila ng data galing din sa internet.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: they change the way we handle money and own things ? on: April 11, 2023, 10:58:19 PM
as decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and non fungible tokens (NFTs) become more popular, will they change the way we handle money and own things,

or will they only be used by a small group of people(like now being used) ?

Have you heard of the hacking and scamming in DeFi, it used to be huge and people are looking for its potential but it's not 100% safe and perfect, you cannot trust a protocol with issues to your money, yes they are popular but not the majority of the masses can handle the technicality.
And NFT is not yet gaining popularity among the masses only a small community adopts NFT, honestly, I'm one of those who do not believe in NFT, I consider it just hype.
scammers and hackers main targer are always the one who are in trend because it is where the money is. There are no perfect unhackable system and these defi projects are full of contracts which is also full of flaws that hackers like. This is why we do have audits to check id it's heavy flawed and I also don't think that masses are technical on these side of things because I believe that majority of the people even today is we still rely on audits.

NFT is also a very popular. Did you know that it became a trend? Since major celebrities are promoting and having these NFT as the way of NFT marketing? Resulting on many news about fans also wanting those NFT to become one of their idols. This is only one scenario that made NFT become a trend.
1126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signals vs Own Analysis on: April 10, 2023, 07:03:30 PM
Getting help from crypto signals and then try to use your own idea will be better because sometime the market is so harsh that no one knows what to do so in such situations getting help from crypto signals is not bad. Depending on crypto signals sometimes become disadvantage for you because there are a majority of individuals who doesn't not know about signals but they give it to another just for getting cash in return so try to hear everyone but take a decision what you really want to take and what is better for you.
I personally seek other charts analysis to have my own analysis a validation and to gain some ideas that I missed. I do this when the market is in chaos or I'm not really confident on how my technical analysis will turn out. It's never a be mistake to ask for someone opinion especially if you are trying to improve your self by asking validations. The bad thing about it is to just purely rely on the charts that you saw and abandon your own analysis. I encourage even new traders to practice their own analysis even if it's a bit rough and just try to compare it to other signals as a way to check their growth and improvements.
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving out to promote Bitcoin on: April 10, 2023, 06:42:12 PM
Happy Easter everyone
Today I gave out $20 to 5 random high school students each in a WhatsApp group after of course enlightening them about Bitcoin and conducting a quiz for them I did this in hopes of trying to assist in developing the Bitcoin ecosystem although it's of small impact
I sent the Bitcoin to Thier noncustodial wallet and also enlightened them on how to manage Thier wallet
What do you think!?
That's a generous action you made. I hope it's not just a made up story since the thought of giving out something and also feeding them with knowledge would absolutely help those high school students in understanding and knowing cryptocurrency deeper. Spreading the knowledge and teaching them is generous enough but giving them a portion of bitcoin is just very rewarding for them and I believe will inspire them to collect more of it become a single unit of bitcoin.

Of course members here will expect for proofs especially you mentioned that you have sent on their non-custodial wallets. I believe that you can earn merit for posting those TX here  Wink thus helping your account level up.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb below 1$ on: April 10, 2023, 06:15:46 PM
This coin has a strong support indeed even after some FUDS it still can't go below $1 which is I'm waiting to buy some. The community and supporters behind it is strong and I'm still hoping that I can get some below $1. I'm still trying to be patient for some FUDs that can make the price go down since the coin is pretty brand new to the market and it's hard to make a technical analysis for it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is waiting for this coin to go below $1 and accumulate it. There are still too much that can happen, I'll still be waiting.
1129  Economy / Gambling / Re: STARTING OWN CRYPTO GAMBLING SITE on: April 10, 2023, 05:40:30 PM
It's better not to get ourselves into trouble by skipping reading the FAQ because reading the FAQ is the most important part so we don't break any of the rules in the casino.
We want to play gambling safely and quietly at the casino, so we must make sure to know what the rules are.
Even if you are using small money, you better not skip reading the FAQ because, who knows, you might accidentally win a lot of money so you want to withdraw the winnings right away.
That way, you can know what you must do to get the winning money.
Agreed, Every gambler should read the terms and condition thoroughly before engaging in any new gambling site. But most of the gamblers skip these topics but those who skip the FAQ may be he can face big loses. Every gambler should thoroughly read the FAQ of that site even once. If a gambler has a large amount of money it can be very unwise to avoid it. Betting amount is not the fact weather it is small or large but everyone should read carefully FAQ before registering.

These things sometimes tend to be quite hard, because when you enter a casino the least you think about is reading all the terms and conditions, apart from the fact that they are quite long, at the time of registering what you least think about is reading but rather reading. do it quickly to take advantage of everything in the casino, I think this can be interpreted as an emotion to be able to play the most games possible, this is something that cannot be avoided on occasions, the only thing is that when you choose promotions and bonuses, well, no it is read, that is where the problems and inconsistencies come in, and where the annoyances begin.

This is why I appreciate a casino that has a clean and organized ToS or FAQ. It is easier to read and to find the important things that we need to do and to avoid. ctrl + find is your best friend on reading ToS. After reading so many ToS I find the ToS contents is almost the identical to other casinos except on the country restrictions, KYC, Limits and other things that is modified to that certain casino. The things you need to avoid such as cheating or use of third party applications is one of the most common thing you can find and I think it's a common sense nowadays.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sushiswap hacked on: April 10, 2023, 04:22:02 PM
No system is safe. I believe that every platforms or system has it's own vulnerability and it is just waiting for it to be exploited. The hacking scenario of sushiswap doesn't have a big impact on the market because of how small the hack is compared to other big events that triggers a bear market though this hacking scenario show that there are still a lot of vulnerabilities on exchanges and there are still improvements needed in the security part. I hope this won't trigger the hackers in targetting crypto exchanges.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still hunt for airdrops? on: April 09, 2023, 10:47:12 PM
yes, airdrops are still very good to follow, especially now that the trend is to follow the testnet from Layer 2, like Arbitrum,
many people get thousands of dollars, and of course that is the enthusiasm of airdrop hunters to be active again looking for potential airdrops.
I really regret it because I didn't follow ARB and make transactions there, therefore we don't do this mistake again as an airdrop hunter.
With the trend that we have now, It is very possible to profit on airdrops especially that Arbitrum who has recently release is one of the biggest airdrops that has airdrop hunters profited on. It is one of the anticipated projects and there are other airdrop projects that is being waited by everybody to be released. I believe that Arbitrum is what makes airdrop hunting lively again and encourage airdrop hunters to not to give up despite of scams and unreliable airdrops before. Today, Airdrops projects are increasing day by day because of the trend and I believe that there will be more airdrops like these soon.
1132  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PHLWIN Fraud/Scam nga ba? on: April 09, 2023, 09:51:36 PM

1133  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: April 09, 2023, 09:33:54 PM
Someone smart enough to develop such tool will not share it with anyone, after all if you have a piece of software which had the power of literally making money for you every day without you lifting a single finger, would you share it? I know that I wont and I am pretty sure that I am not alone on this, so it is even possible that someone has already developed an AI like this and they have been enjoying the benefits for a very long time already.
It is a selfish thing to do but yes, I certainly do not share it until I reach my goal. Unfortunately, there is no such tool that really exists because even though we say that AI is an advanced technology but it wasn't built for gambling nor to stop casinos. Might this technology is very useful in other things but thinking about using this in gambling, I don't think it was on the market today, they'd rather keep it on their own if they know that it will work 100% efficiently.
One of the aspects which has in a way slow down the development of AI is that no one wants to share their findings, the algorithms behind AI are very well known and they have been around for decades, however the problem was there was not enough data to give them, but now thanks to the internet if there is something we have is data, which means that companies like Google or Facebook have a huge advantage as the way they earn money is by using and selling the information of their users.
Big tech companies who has collected a lot of data are the one ho can dominate the AI technology space but yeah there are a petition right now on slowing down the AI cutting edge development because on how fast AI project development has become. I'm sure that there are someone who tried to develop an AI that is focus on gambling but as of now we don't know where to find it or it may never been released on public. Online casino should be ready for preventing AI to be used on their casinos, They should be ready for upcoming users who will take advantage of these AI's.
1134  Economy / Gambling / Re: We NEED Bitcointalk Members Feedback on Casino Challenges! on: April 09, 2023, 08:59:30 PM
This will always be done by the casino so that it can easily get a lot of interest from gamblers and even casinos are willing to spend money to be able to get more players because the more players, the greater the profit the casino will get.
If you say this strategy is like a strategy in business, but not all casinos can implement it.
Yes, because the existence of different promotional bonuses can generate curiosity and interest for gamblers to try new casinos, but all the developments and progress that each casino has have a long journey and hard work which is quite difficult, not even all new casinos can go through what some big casinos have gone through.

   -   You're right mate, there are also casinos that I just noticed that don't even release a lot of money in their business, but it's a very good strategy so they can build a lot of community right away to play gambling in their gambling platform casino.

Or sometimes even if they have paromotion bonuses, they put a due date on it as to when the gamblers will receive the bonus, who must also complete the task requirements for the bonus to be received.
Of course, Casino is still a business. It will be an advantage to them to have a promotion that doesn't cost them much money and also being effective at the same time. I think it is one reason why punt.com is asking the community what are their feedbacks on other casino promotions or challenges, For them to filter out ineffective and un-attractable challenges or promotion so they can avoid it out. We give them our wants so that they can release it to make it available in the public and let us play on our wanted promotion or challenges. This is why I think punt.com is smart in doing their promotion because they are being efficient and don't want to waste money on trying and testing out what kind of promotion will be effective on the gamblers.
1135  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: April 09, 2023, 08:27:47 PM
I saw the super rain yesterday from  diamond player maybe the biggest rain I have ever seen, are you guys one of them?  Cheesy
Surely I am not one of them but hoping for the next it is my turn  Grin By the way, if you are Stake.us user you can claim this code easyclaim123
This is a special code that was shared when Eddie live a few hours ago.

Oh wow, seems like it's worth it to hang out in the chat, haha. I always have it closed and if it's open then I mostly only check the German chat room.

I have read of several high level diamond players doing this but in whatever room I have never been so lucky to catch some of those crazy rains.

Biggest I ever got was maybe 5$, I mean it's better than nothing and still free cash but if you see these crazy things happening you start dreaming of course.  Grin

Must be nice to receive a rain like this but I keep avoiding the chat on almost all sites as it is not really enjoyable. There are too many leechers and spammers. A lot of sites have put actions in place to minimize it but it is almost impossible to really eliminate that kind of behavior.
These people just know how to take advantage of the current system. We can see how stake really try to lessen these spammers but these spammers just don't know how to slow down. It's like chatting on stake is just the only thing that they are doing for the most of their time. These also happens on some casino but even with the requirements of wagers, KYC and other requirements, These spammers just don't know how to stop as if they are just being active on a casino to chat and receive a rain. I think that casino should lower the rain received and distribute it on lower amounts and on many people to avoid these kind of events.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: April 08, 2023, 11:57:03 PM
it's mainly because the success rate of building project around bullish is higher, since the flow of capital was massive, even if the project are generally shit it'd still gain some of the investment because many people out there getting fomo'd they'd just throw their money around thinking it'd make them rich overnight, that's the reason very few project released at bearish, because to be success in bearish, require tremendous quality and fair tokenomics in general.
This is why I like the projects that started on bear market because I noticed that most of them aren't shit quality compared to those who started during a bull market. Bear market projects mostly doesn't have funds and struggle with funding it and this is how we can see how determined the project team behind the project. projects during bull market are just hit and miss. From my experience, shit projects are mostly borned during bull market and still being funded generously by the public.
1137  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Thoughts sa Exchange P2P transaction on: April 08, 2023, 11:25:49 PM
<snip>
Madali bang mapeke yung text? Anyways, doble ingat talag dapat sa p2p transactions, both buyer & seller.
This is why need natin maging lowkey always at attentive sa mga financial accounts natin.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 07, 2023, 03:07:51 PM
As per CoinGecko, it is up almost 20%, in the meantime. Upon checking further, I can not find any news regarding it. Does anyone know the reason behind it? Does Elon just playing around?

Or is it has something to do with the matter of Elon's lawsuit in regard to market manipulation with Dogecoin?
Do we need a news regarding that? Of course Elon is just playing with the investors again, and look what happened to the price of DOGE a few hours after he changed the logo of Twitter to logo of DOGE.

Currently, the price of DOGE is going down already, and it just shows that Elon is still capable of tricking newbie investors with regards to DOGE. He is making fun of his newly acquired social media platform, the coin itself, and the investors themselves. I still can't forget a meme (I think) where it says there "Let that SINK in." a few hours after he acquired Twitter, and in that picture, he is going to his office holding a real sink.

Elon's mind really isn't the same as other rich businessmen out there. Well, at least he has a humor unlike others. Cheesy
This proves that Elon can still manipulates people that follows DOGE. Now that the DOGE logo is removed and reverted into original twitter logo again, The price of DOGE suddenly dumps making those people who bought DOGE at that time lose some money. I hate it how people are still buying these non-sense logo changing. We know that it won't be a permanent change and I personally think that it isn't an achievement that a twitter logo is changed by a dog logo. We can see how powerful people are when they acquired a platform that is being used by many especially in crypto space.
1139  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: AirDrop Lovers PassoooooK ;)NEW Update: WTF AIRDROP!! on: April 07, 2023, 02:51:19 PM

1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask - new feature that detects scams on: April 07, 2023, 02:28:08 PM
We still own the wallet and freely do what ever we want. It is still our fault if we get scammed and the maximum effort that metamask and other wallet can do is to provide warning just like what metamask did. I agree that this isn't a fully scam proof feature but at least we have this kind of feature that is offered to us to potentially avoid these scams. Newbies are the one who I think will mostly benefit this kind of feature as they don't really know much on how things works and they are the target victims of these scam projects.

This feature is great indeed.
