I guess topics are first ranked by "bumping" and then by latest post if I'm not mistaken.
Does this function's implementation mean that using posts to bump topics in said sections is now forbidden and should be reported?

Aber vor manipulierter Hardware ist man immer noch nicht geschützt.
Natürlich nicht. Aber auch das kann bei bestellungen bei Ledger passieren. Ausserdem erklärt Ledger in einem Artikel wie man prüfen kann ob an der HW was geändert wurde, zumindest sichtlich. |

Le post le plus flippant que j'ai lut depuis longtemps... comment allez vous protéger les données avec une blockchain? Une blockchain est par definition publique et toutes les transactions sont visible pour tous?!
T'es comme bien souvent complètement à l'ouest techniquement. Les contrôles d'accès ça existe aussi sur blockchain. Le dessin de tes veines est simplement passé dans un algorithme, qui te donne un hash. A chaque fois que tu les scannes, l'appareil compare le hash généré à celui stocké sur la blockchain. Ce n'est pas réversible. Sinon même si c'était stocké de façon explicite sur la blockchain, c'est facilement chiffrable de façon à ce que seul le propriétaire de la clé privée de chaque "compte" ait accès à cette information. Tu n'en loupes pas une pour étaler ton incompétence.

The delay is quite long already. If they can't manifest themselves within 10 days, I don't see any valid reason to wait for them. Penalizing the 80% because some are not reactive is far from professional. I'm not sure if that's the kind of publicity Beaxy or you as a BM want. |

La centralisation c'est le fait de pouvoir ajouter et supprimer des transactions a volonté comme avec un contrat ERC20 euthereum, ou Libra, ou Ripple etc...
Continuer à répéter ces inepties ne les rend pas vraies pour autant ! N'importe quelle transaction d'un erc20 est tout autant inscrite dans la blockchain eth qu'un transfert d'eth. Stop le FUD mec. |

Wenn du magst kann ich probieren dir die Dinger wieder funktionsmässig zu bekommen. Müsstest mir nur Porto erstatten falls es funktioniert und ich sie dir zurückschicken soll.
Ledger hat nicht direkt gesagt es gibt kein Risiko. Die haben damals gesagt der einzige Weg gescammt zu werden wenn du alles prüfst ist wenn du ein gebrauchtes ledger kaufst, und die Mnemonic Phrase benutzt die "mitgeschickt" wird. Das bedeutet genau das selbe wie "Genuine + neu initialisieren = safe". Sonst hätten die garantier von gebrauchten Ledger abgeraten, was sie aber nie getan haben. Ich bin nicht der einzige der sich das erinnert (Kontext ist gebrauchten ledger kaufen): Yeah, the CEO and CTO of Ledger have posted here that if you set your own PIN, derive a new seed from the Ledger (writing the 24 words from the Ledger display) and verify the authenticity of the device by connecting to a Ledger app, you're good. And to my knowledge the only reported supply chain hack was that poor guy who got the preconfigured wallet with the pre-printed seed card. But Saleem Rashid showed that a third party vendor can set it up so that even if you configure the device yourself and generate the seed from it, a malicious vendor can predetermine what the seed will be that is displayed by the Ledger. And you wouldn't know that you've got a compromised device. Ledger says that the latest firmware patches this. It's just whether you're comfortable accepting that. People here seem to be evenly divided on the issue. I think I've also read about the possibility that a third party vendor can replace hardware components but I"m not interested in opening the back of the hardwallet to check for it. For my part I'm ordering a new Ledger Nano S straight from Ledger. |

Very pessimistic view. It's a new concept, so I think we should give it a little bit of time before condemning it definitely.
Every single shitcoins features at least one new thing. It doesn't mean there is a market for it. The basics of P2P and bitcoin are sharing/decentralisation. And here comes a guy offering a "pay 2 play" mecanism, and you say "it's new, it's gonna work". It's utterly bad. There is absolutely no usecase for that token whatsoever in it's current state. I might change my opinion if they drastically change their aim, but I doubt they will. They are trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist. |

Vorsicht. Es kann vorkommen das trotzdem eine Verifikation verlangt wird. Das kann ohne weiteren Grund passieren. Es müssen nur bei denen die Algorithmen etwas sehen. BTC des aus einen Mixer kommt kann schon dafür reichen. |

Ich hoffe du bist dir aller Risiken bewusst bei Hardware Wallets welche nicht direkt vom Hersteller oder offiziellen Resellern kommen.
Hör doch bitte auf mit diesen Unsinn. Ledger selbst sagt das es so gut wie risikofrei ist. Und wenn du schon von Ledger direkt kaufst, die bauen die Teile auch nichts selbst. Die Gefahr die dir so viel Angst macht gibt es sowiese in der ganzen Supply Chain. Ob jetzt Ledger direkt oder nicht macht da gar keinen Unterschied solange du Physisch und Softwaremässig prüfen kannst ob das Produkt genuine ist. Und das kann man.
Wobei sich ja eben die Software genau mit einer Fehlermeldung, die auf eine nicht originale Hardware hindeutet, nicht installieren lässt.
