Great JOb! Although I find it very hard seeing alex promoting it.  I'm sure alot of his listeners will dig deep.  I used to be a pretty devoted listener.

Did he bring it up or was it a caller?
464  Economy / Gambling / Re: Your all-new, full custom Bitcoin casino is here ;) on: July 22, 2011, 03:39:17 PM
Yes I was also hoping to play as an American.  Not sure why even the green toilet paper has to come into play. Sad.

Anyways the first real casino to deal purely in bitcoins and allow american players will be rewarded handsomely.

Yea feels a bit odd being on a slight uptrend leading into a weekend. I'm used to watching the price slowly drop by this stage of the week.

I agree, I was about to go to sleep and see some big buys coming through might stay up to see what happens.  Someone needs to make an alarm app to wake you up when the price passes a certain level up or down. Smiley

467  Economy / Goods / Re: new real tangible physical bitcoin coin on: July 20, 2011, 08:01:23 PM
I think i'd like the coin better if it didn't have the website stamped onto it.

yeah I feel the same.
468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell into this CNN media hype! on: July 20, 2011, 02:14:39 AM
Yes It is very interesting times, I can't help  but keep checking the price of the bitcoin. I must admit, part of me wants it to go lower because I missed the boat on this one.

Probably my favorite quote on this forum.

yeah I was at a funeral the other day and couldn't help but check my iphone app to see the price during the eulogy.

We highlighted the 11.8-12.5 zone as buy area in the technical analysis subscription. 5 Btc per month and still a few slots available .

5 btc a month or .5 btc a month?

475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mention in CNN on: July 18, 2011, 08:59:59 PM
I'll be rich with bitcoin Smiley.

not if you dont stop your gambling addiction.

offtopic:  I don't have any gambling addiction, moreover I'm making profit with 95% of risky investments I do (for sure, it works for bitcoin itself and some bitcoin-based activities)...

In fact, there is a good correlation between Bitcoin popularity and price, as evidenced by google trends and alexa rankings.

It's obvious. We don't have any other relevant criteria.

I was just messing around, I got a gambling link in my sig too.

480  Economy / Speculation / Re: If I were a gambler who accept bitcoin. However, on: July 18, 2011, 06:16:43 PM
bitcoin is too expensive and rare to gamble with right now.

It's like gambling with gold. A $10 bet would be .0001 ounce. It doesn't feel like you're winning anything.
Also people want to keep their bitcoins hoping to get $100/bitcoin sometime in the future without gambling.

I think that is your own personal belief.  I've got friends who just got into bitcoin so they could play texas holdem and really dont care about the long term value of bitcoin.
