2981  Economy / Economics / Re: Indiana life insurance CEO says deaths are up 40% among people ages 18-64 on: January 06, 2022, 10:52:37 AM
We are still in the midst of the crisis. Unless COVID-19 officially ends, these companies can easily raise the insurance policy, and you will find many happy to pay due to the state of uncertainty and fear of losing life in health centers.
We may witness new waves that lead to more deaths that will put pressure on the insurance systems, which may push more pressure to them.

We cannot compare what happened to the global financial crisis of 2008 because many things have changed and the economy has learned how to recover from these problems, but the crisis will be worse and it seems that we are not ready for it.
2982  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Rally Proved Short-Lived, and $100K Dreams Faded on: January 06, 2022, 10:50:12 AM
Optimism sometimes gives an opposite mood to the market. many of the rises that occurred in the price were preceded by a lot of pessimism and there were no logical reasons for them.
The more negative the price, the more the market is ready for more rises.

We cannot judge that the price will be $100K (Not about ETF rally) but definitely a level below $20K is not expected, and therefore to get an 79% correction, we will need to break some peaks above $60K.

Look at the bitcoin price every beginning of the year and you will realize that the increases that happen will continue in the long term, so there is no need to worry.

2983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Service to see all my NFTs and ERC-20 tokens on: January 06, 2022, 09:25:26 AM
The development of NFT market will be slow, but you will find a lot of differences within a year or less.
A year ago, not many were interested in it, now with this money flowing in.

you will find more people developing software that supports tokens on multiple blockchain.

I use blow links to track my NFTs

Some of NFT tokens are centralized and only appear Marketplace of some sites as Binance NFT.
2984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / One confirmation, two or three. When we say the transaction is safe? on: January 06, 2022, 09:23:39 AM
Today we're going to talk about Bitcoin blockchain re-organization and then answer the question, One confirmation, two or three. When we say the transaction is safe?

All PoW chains perform a process of blockchain re-organization, whereby it sometimes happens that two blocks are mined almost simultaneously, competing at the same height so that miners see one of the blocks and assume that it is the correct block.

On average ّّّ~10 minutes later (Bitcoin Blockchain) a new block is mined. When this block is mined, we will have two blocks. Original one with a longer chain and a new, shorter block, tries to have some "orphans," which try to have new blocks on that chain.

Is this normal? Yes, it is possible to have one block re-organization every few weeks, it is the result of applying decentralization.

what happens to the transactions of the other block? Does this mean that I lost my money? we have two blocks, one is original and the other is ignored. All transactions that were included in the ignored block are returned as unconfirmed transactions awaiting confirmation.

During this process it may happen that a transaction is inserted into one of the blocks (One confirmation,) it is not a double spending.

Can two-block re-organization happen?
Yes, it is possible once several years

Can three blocks re-organization happen?
This process has not happened before

Is waiting for one confirmation considered safe? Well, it differs according to the value of the thing you want to pay for, so buying a house means that you have to wait for 3 confirmations and buy a daily product means that 1 confirmation is sufficient.

Question Paragraph:

Calculate the probability of two blocks being mined at the same time?
Why is the process of Bitcoin Blockchain re-organization every two weeks?
Calculate the probability that 2 blocks re-organized?
Calculate the probability that 3 blocks re-organized?
2985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most private cryptocurrency on: January 06, 2022, 09:01:37 AM
we can divided private cryptocurrency:

  • Coins like Zcash claim to be privacy-focused currencies, but when you search for them in depth, you will find that, like all alternative currencies, they aim to increase developers’ money and do not care about privacy. your data will be sold at any time.
  • Dash also claims to be privacy-focused coins, but it markets itself due to the speed of payments like other altcoins.
  • Monero is the number one privacy coin and is a good long-term investment when anonymity becomes valuable.
  • Grin is stablcoin privacy focus project

other altcoins are blokchain based coins that mean they are not privacy-focused currencies.
2986  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What stopped you from starting crypto earlier??? on: January 05, 2022, 06:20:27 PM
Most of them are due to uncertainty, inaccurate information, fear of learning something new, and losing or profiting quickly.
Most of these fears are uncertainty and ignorance, and therefore learning and practice will reduce these risks.
We do not forget that most of our relationship with money is limited, and even trading in the stock exchanges was organized and did not bear fluctuations of 10% or the huge increase in prices.

We all may not have known about cryptos, but I am sure that after knowing them, the probability of investing in them in the next three years will be the greatest.
2987  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchange coinone to stop withdrawal to unverified wallets on: January 05, 2022, 06:00:19 PM
It just keeps getting worse [SMH]! They were already charging from their users' ridiculous withdrawal fees [0.0015BTC or around $70] and now they've added a second layer of withdrawal fees to that [e.g. for Binance is 0.00064BTC or around $30].
Why? I can withdraw using USDT or any stablecoins or any layer2 solutions (polygon) and then I will withdraw from Binance using Bitcoin with up to 2 BTC with 0.00064BTC, the amount can be around $30 for withdrawing with 2 Bitcoin.

You can also search for any platform that does not accept KYC if it is a problem.

The problem of fees is not great, but the problem remains in classifying the currencies to clean and dirty, and then the difference between them which is something that should not happen to money.
2988  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Arcona.Space | X-Reality Metaverse | Signature Campaign ~ Sr. Members+ on: January 05, 2022, 05:49:03 PM
Has anyone managed to sell one of these NFTs? and price? It has also been more than 10 days and no update of English guide.
And why did the price of NFT changed (from 100$ or 0.3 BNB NFT/Week to 0.3$BNB NFT/Week) without update (it should have applied to the new weeks and not the previous ones), correct? first page still have 0.3 BNB worth not 0.3$
2989  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Robinhood to Tradingview translations for newbie? Is BTCUSD the same as BTC? on: January 05, 2022, 05:20:26 PM
It supposed to be the same scale, but what you see on Tradingview is the price of Bitcoin against an altcoin that is pegged to the dollar. It is trying to be $1 but it may not be.
I did a quick search to prove what I am saying and found that the lowest price of USDT was $0.5683 on Mar 02, 2015 (7 years ago) I also remember the price of it was 0.9 several months ago and therefore the difference between the two measures is caused by USDT (or any stable currency) trying to maintain stability

Introduction

Most individuals who invest in cryptocurrencies want make some profits so the return on investment (ROI) is supposed to be one of the things to study before thinking about investing.
With the increase in projects and methods of investing in cryptocurrencies, the risks increased, and therefore risks must be redefined, the difference between them and Ponzi schemes.

What is a Ponzi scheme?

The name goes back to Charles Ponzi who became famous for his fraudulent system of earning money, as he managed to defraud hundreds of victims.
Ponzi schemes work by paying profits to former investors with funds from newer investors and therefore the belief comes that profits come from product sales and thus continue to invest and the promise of generating high-value returns with little or even no risk.
In the end, other investors discover that they are the source of the funds and therefore they will not receive returns and they may lose their money.

How Does a Ponzi Scheme Work?

The main point is that scammers never invest money that they redistribute investor money to believe that they are making profits, and therefore you need a steady flow of money to survive, otherwise they will run away with the money.

What makes this type of fraud appropriate in cryptocurrencies is the fact that scammers are more difficult to track and there is not enough regulatory framework to protect investors and thus may escape all investments without paying any returns.

How to Recognize crypto Ponzi Schemes?

It is not an easy task, but there are some indicators and red Flags which make more likely the project is to be Ponzi Scheme than as an investment:

  • Promises of high profits with zero risk: “The higher the risk, the higher the reward” When you hear that there are no risks, something is wrong.
  • Consistent returns, regardless of the market condition: The yield from investing varies according to the nature of the market, but when a project talks about double profits in a short period, regardless of the market.
  • Lack of transparency: how to get profits, the nature of the investment, who the investors are, information about them. They try to sell you dreams without providing detail about them.
  • Don’t offer real products or services: Often the investment is a dream, but there are no real services.
  • Increasing minimum investment: These projects need to grow rapidly, and therefore they need to increase their capital, which is higher than the minimum withdrawal amount.
  • It comes through someone with a shared affinity: Often these projects come from a well-known personality or someone you trust and thus reduce caution and search for them, sometimes they lie to developers or give false information.

How to protect yourself?

  • Be skeptical: Ask a lot, understand how you benefit from the investment, how the project works, read about them and ask people in this forum or who you trust.
  • Do not trust. Verify: Do not trust the opinions of experts, and do not listen to all details without checking them.Ask for registration information, legal papers and verify that they are correct.
  • Check out the seller, white paper, developers, their road map, and all the details: Scammers are always lazy so you will find some errors or misinformation.
  • Understand the investment: Do not invest in things you know nothing about.
2991  Local / Bitcoin Haberleri / Re: 2021-12-29 Btcmagazin: Bitcoin’in Yaratıcısı Elon Musk Olabilir mi? on: December 31, 2021, 11:47:03 AM
2992  Local / Türkçe (Turkish) / Re: Kriptopara Yasası Nasıl Olmalı? on: December 31, 2021, 10:54:49 AM

2993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk guesses who bitcoin's mysterious creator Satoshi Nakamoto is on: December 30, 2021, 06:00:42 PM
Do we need to see every day a different topic for Elon Musk’s perception of cryptocurrencies? He is just an investor and he is the richest man in the world, but he cannot influence a currency with a market capacity of more than a trillion dollars.
It may have an impact on the Dogecoin market but we should not take it seriously in the major currency market.

The ambiguity of who is Satoshi Nakamoto is a media and legal issue more than it has an impact on the price of Bitcoin or the future development of the currency.
2994  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchange coinone to stop withdrawal to unverified wallets on: December 30, 2021, 05:23:41 PM
Classifying withdraw address into centralized and decentralized will lead us to classify coins into clean and dirty one, which are not a means of trading money.
These platforms will start behaving like banks and so they may put additional conditions if you decide to withdraw or freeze your money.
This problem can be easily solved now, but its continuation will lead to the development of decentralized platforms.
I will withdraw to Binance address and then it to withdraw to any external wallet, it will not be complicated, but the withdrawal fees will increase.
2995  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID has driven Americans to bank $1.6 TRILLION in savings on: December 30, 2021, 05:12:26 PM
When stocks were at their lowest value, many people bought food, drink, and rushed to buy toilet paper.
Then, the problems of dismissal of workers appeared, so many of them saved, and because the knowledge of many people about investment is shallow, most of them will keep the money in the form of cash due to the ease of its liquidation, and some may buy, gold, real estate or stocks.
1.6 trillion is a huge sum, so many people may think again if inflation levels continue to increase.

Cryptocurrencies are still far from an option for most people, or at least they will be a timid investment.

2997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I know legit and scam investment? on: December 29, 2021, 06:05:15 PM
The difference between scam and the wrong investment, most of us have been scammed once or twice, but rarely someone scam you several times in the same way.
Wrong investment or a strategy that needs to be developed, so it is not a shame to invest wrongly several times, but the most important thing is to build a good vision of how to invest and fix all previous mistakes.

What we need is to develop ourselves to detect scam quickly and take advantage of mistakes in investing.

Greed and lack of learning are what keep scam going.
2998  Local / Bitcoin Haberleri / Re: 2021-12-29 SatoshiTurk Bitcoin’in (BTC), Piyasa Hakimiyeti %40’ın Altına Düştü! on: December 29, 2021, 05:52:55 PM

2999  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about cryptocurrencies prices variation with buy/sell orders on: December 29, 2021, 05:35:48 PM
The law of supply and demand is the ruler, but you look at the wrong part of supply and demand. What you are looking at is a small part of the whole market, and therefore it does not matter the amount of supply and demand inside the platform if it is possible to deposit and withdraw quickly.

For example, if the price rises in many platforms, the price will start to rise in other platforms because they have a future view of the price, and if the price does not rise, the demand will increase because the price of Bitcoin here is cheaper and it will be an opportunity to make some profit for trading between platforms.

Speed of updating orders, buying and selling orders and withdrawing from the platform will reduce manipulation.
3000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trust Wallet or TokenPocket? on: December 29, 2021, 04:57:43 PM
Hello,
For staking the Tron, Trust Wallet is good or TokenPocket? Is TokenPocket reliable?

TokenPocket is not as popular as Trust Wallet, and since the rule says that safety is better than gain, it is better to use Trust Wallet.
Tron is not the best Altcoin to be stacked. read full list here https://www.stakingrewards.com/
