So where is CCX goin from here?
Good question. Without a dev or devs, I don't think there is much we can do. What I am doing right now is supporting the network... although a lot of wallets out there get stuck at nowhere near in sync... my pc is online all the time so i'll keep the wallet running as long as i can. maybe we could use a trusted but disinterested 3rd party escrow service to keep a donation wallet for a new dev. does anyone have mod-acess to this thread? |

Can someone explain how to POS system works? Also does my wallet need to be unlocked to mint coins?
PoS = proof of stake. coin age = the "weight" that drives the staking engine, staking is auto-mining! if you look at the coin specs you'll see that after a certain time coins are eligible for staking. when they are moved into 'stake' they are not available for sending. while staking, they will earn income based on how much coin-age (weight) they have. nice thing is it uses very few resources compared to hashing and yes, unlock the wallet (wait for it to synch up first) to begin the process |

I found a programmer that will help the coin with checkpoints and wallet upgrades. 0.3 BTC needs to be raised. Is there any community interest?

It was messy but no fork. There wasnt one group of nodes that knew what was going on. I added my world wide supernodes and updated the GIT Source with them. You can compile now and get a good Sync if you know how. There still are an overwhelming amount of stuck Wallets on the network.
