Can anybody tell me how minting works? I had 73498 FAIR total in my wallet (recovered from Mintpal v1) divided by 2 transactions (50 000 + 23 498). After 24 days (why 24?) the 50k part of my balance became "transaction is mature". Today they minted 88 FAIR (why 88?) and 206 FAIR (why 206?) in a few hours. After that there appeared two new transactions for every old transaction in the minting view. Old ones were divided by 2 and there are now 4 transactions (25103, 25103, 11793, 11793). And they are all zero age! I have to wait for 24 days again to mint something else?
i'll try if i understand it right - coin-age is the fuel that makes the mining engine run. the more coin-age you have,= the more stakeweight you have, which is balanced against netstakeweight to drive the engine. so you have so many blocks with so much weight that compete with so much netstakeweight to generate so many coins

fwiw i've always felt that tzm was good but falls just a little bit short of just right. (lot like AJ ) i loved that first movie, (but not quite enough to put it on my uploads page) i think it has and will help many ppl wake-up. we are inspired by tzm - yes! but we can be different too and viva la differance to be strong in the future we need to keep our heads-up and eyes open NOW. let god separate the wheat from the chaff

@groggin, what skill level are you at, could build a binary from github? hi Thom. @ me i'm a win-lin multibooter user for a long time (12 years now omg) but i've never done a compile, also i can't find a 64 bit distro that my new mobo will like, so i'm kinda stuck in win7 atm. i do have a 32 bit (ubuntu) >(white os) installed if i need to do something. i will be happy to give a xx% bounty for someone's help and a successful recovery

lol, it appears that i didn't. i didn't know i had more than one, but i will find them. thanks and sorry for the extra trouble hello fellows, heartfelt congratulations on the successful recovery campaign, and getting the coin listed again. i seem to have lost the keys to my recovery address. apparently, this is the case: the wallet seems to be corrupted, the qt will start and run, and shows the correct balance, but when i go to the recieve tab, there is only one unlabeled address! (i think i had 3 or 4, all labeled) i ran -checkwallet and -repairwallet, no results, but when i ran -salvagewallet i get this error msg: Cannot initialize keypool then the client just quits. also i managed to dig up atleast a half a dozen backups, but they are all too old (so i have the orig and a copy) any help guys?

Wondering if there are any current addnodes? I was connected fine, but it seems only to a single peer, which has now dropped off.
I keep historical logs and there were 92 different IPs that I've connected to in the past month or so, but none seem to be valid now.
Is this coin dead? Was I just connected to the exchange as a peer?
hey allmighty - seems i've seen you around here somewhere? i just went through the threads, and put this together - and so far 1 connection. i will post any other nodes i might acquire Electric.conf:listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 rpcuser=username rpcpassword=password rpcport=9345 port=9346 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 addnode=electricsherlock.no-ip.biz addnode=203.86.207.226:9346 addnode=94.209.131.149:9346 addnode=54.72.113.27 addnode=101.187.42.235 addnode=123.243.112.171 addnode=198.204.227.118 addnode=94.209.131.149:9346 here we go - lookin' good 23:04:33  getpeerinfo 23:04:33  [ { "addr" : "54.72.113.27:9346", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1418442509, "lastrecv" : 1418442510, "conntime" : 1418426269, "version" : 60003, "subver" : "/Satoshi:1.1.0/", "inbound" : false, "releasetime" : 0, "startingheight" : 460005, "banscore" : 0 }, { "addr" : "101.187.42.235:9346", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1418442509, "lastrecv" : 1418442510, "conntime" : 1418427094, "version" : 60003, "subver" : "/Satoshi:1.1.0/", "inbound" : false, "releasetime" : 0, "startingheight" : 460019, "banscore" : 0 }, { "addr" : "23.227.161.165:49467", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1418442509, "lastrecv" : 1418442509, "conntime" : 1418427278, "version" : 60003, "subver" : "/Satoshi:1.1.0/", "inbound" : true, "releasetime" : 0, "startingheight" : 460025, "banscore" : 0 }, { "addr" : "203.20.114.252:28559", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1418442509, "lastrecv" : 1418442509, "conntime" : 1418427496, "version" : 60003, "subver" : "/Satoshi:1.1.0/", "inbound" : true, "releasetime" : 0, "startingheight" : 460025, "banscore" : 0 }, { "addr" : "62.238.171.196:60888", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1418442509, "lastrecv" : 1418442509, "conntime" : 1418434517, "version" : 60003, "subver" : "/Satoshi:1.1.0/", "inbound" : true, "releasetime" : 0, "startingheight" : 460185, "banscore" : 0 }, { "addr" : "89.223.47.214:58762", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1418443100, "lastrecv" : 1418443099, "conntime" : 1418443097, "version" : 60003, "subver" : "/Satoshi:1.1.0/", "inbound" : true, "releasetime" : 0, "startingheight" : 460353, "banscore" : 0 } ] 23:05:02  getmininginfo 23:05:02  { "blocks" : 460369, "currentblocksize" : 0, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.02305295, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 1946494, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false } 23:05:14  getinfo 23:05:14  { "version" : 1010000, "protocolversion" : 60003, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : ---------------, "blocks" : 460369, "connections" : 6, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 0.02305295, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1411130265, "keypoolsize" : 100, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.01000000, "unlocked_until" : 0, "errors" : "" }

correct me if im wrong but theres really no point in having a btc market until we're over 100 liteoshis for good. otherwise it will just be an empty order book on the bid side.
i agree - it totally sucks being pinned to the floor @ gregofdoom - idk but prolly plans will prolly change now n e way, maybe figure from the dates given

Ok cool, I wounder whats up with that exchange then. I sent them a email and no response. Huh good luck with that my friend, i locked myself out (broken 2fa setup) recently, it was a month before i got back in. though, they do use the same support as mintpal, and my lock-out happened just after minty went, so maybe they were just busy ...

I see no issues with that, uki. Thank you. BTER was our decision for the asian market, but since the Bitbay disaster I'm not sure if we're doing right. and definitely not with paid votes 100% agreed! Cheers, Ray this? http://pastebin.com/iintnvAjnot sure what happened w/bitbay but this looks nasty @ BTER credit to mangled blue for the link

Please don't back up the value of any coins, especially DOPE, with groundwater.
The process of taking water from the ground, bottling it, and shipping it elsewhere is one of the greatest modern environmental mistakes and travesties.
I will gladly dump all of my DOPE, at a loss if necessary, if it is decided that this coin is to be backed by Finnish groundwater.
Let's take something representing a plant that is good for the planet and back it with something that is terrible for the planet.
Bad idea.
Yeah you're going to have to back that claim up. and let me know how much you want to dump so I can set my buy order. I'm a busy man. I'd love to hash out every last detail of this well-documented modern environmental dilemma with you, but I haven't the time. If you care to watch any of these documentaries, you will be provided with a decent summary of the dynamics of water privatization and bottling. http://www.inspiredwater.org/2010/06/top-5-must-see-water-documentaries/And if you want my DOPE, that's my sell order at 73 sats. lets look at this. i think jyri's idea has merit; so does infinitechaos' objection have merit and should be considered. the problem is that world-wide so-called 'capitalists' are buying up land and resources and privatizing them in order to profit. water, being something that we are ALL addicted to, NEED every day, should NEVER be allowed to be privatized, ever! it should be a public resource, period. (will fresh air be the next new product on store shelves? (have you heard of chem-trails?)) so what if our friends in finland set up their operation as a not-for-profit org? the ppl running it would still make money (for performing a service), and if it were done right the world might gain a new widely distributed water supply at a very reasonable price. lets crowd fund this thing and get rid of the greedy privateers!!! w00t!

Now i notify that my wallet doesn`t sync. It says No block source avaivable. Any ideas?
try restarting the wallet. maybe a few times. wait a while. is there a .conf file in the roaming/cannabiscoin folder? if yes check if it has this: addnode=seed.cannabiscoin.net addnode=seed2.cannabiscoin.net addnode=seed3.cannabiscoin.net addnode=seed4.cannabiscoin.net addnode=seed5.cannabiscoin.net add them if they're not in the file, if there's no .conf, just make one, plain text, it should be cannabiscoin.conf or Cannabiscoin.conf, someone check me, my wallet's cold atm -- make sure you don't accidentally name it *.conf.txt ( save as all files in win)
