GOOD NEWS, FINALLY!!!  Mintpal V1 has sent the wallet.dat and user/ balances info to the faircoin dev team! Now, we are in control of the mintpal v1 coins -> https://chain.fair-coin.org/address/fFcy7XH7hY7o4BwaRgkFQVooM9m4dZGUwZTomorrow we will begin withdrawals with the already filled forms, will ask adress to the other users, and will begin proceding with the next steps to recover the faircoin normality!  does the faircoin team have acess to the old db to confirm bals? is the requested bal from the forms<the bal in the wallet? |

do I need to do anything for POS. How long does it take before it starts after i put coins into the wallet?
no and yes your balance has to be at it's address for atleast 2 hrs, coin-age maxes out at 84 days (coin-age fuels the mining engine) you can run the wallet as often as you like, the more you do the more your 'interest' will compound and the more you will be suporting the ECCoin network. if you don't do anything for a long time you'll still get stake the next time you run the client |

Then why do I get no coins via staking, too? That was why I was asking for how the payout of stakes is working in detail. To find out more about that. I received my first coins on November, 6th. Had the wallet on most of the time, but still no staked coins. ditto that. no stake. the new wallet's been open & unlocked for ~24 hrs, i have aprox 182,000 coin-days accumulated. i'm using win7 64 bit Did you delete the old. Metalmusiccoin folder in your appdata folder and installed the new one, try that it should stake now. Coz i tested it my wallet stake twice last night no, i didn't delete anything, proceeded in the usual way, backed-up the wallet, unzipped the bin and hit the .exe. i don't want to delete the blockchain now cuz i'm solo mining, and otherwise, the wallet is working fine |

Thank you for your quick answer. I was inquiring about coin control because I would like to increase the number of coins in a single transaction. That way the wallet does not stake as little as 0.008219 TALK.
And one other thing, if I try to send all my coins to myself (get them all in one transaction) the response is: Error: Transaction creation failed.

you could try sending smaller ammounts, if you have too many inputs. recently, working with another coin, (that had coin-control), i would get a similar error if i tried to send any amount that required more than ~500 inputs (i had over 16,000 I/Os from P2pool mining, the fix was a LOT of clicking) |
