New wallet synced but coins are not received. I've just checked the list for first giveaway (from second post in this thread) and my address is not there anymore... It was there when i checked it about 3 weeks ago. I've sent the PM with address to PMPgiveaway on July 10.
If your account was suspicious you might have been removed. I just checked and I'm not sure why you were removed though... it might have been by mistake. We had several people helping with the giveaway list by the end. All though you are the first "sockpuppet" to step up and claim otherwise so I think our track record is pretty good We did set aside 20 stakes (I added 20 stakes) to the total amount of stakes after we removed the sockpuppets to cover any mistakes we might have made.
I'll get Nullu to send you a stake. The leftover stakes from that safety pile will just get added to the next months giveaway I guess. Sorry about that haos.Thank you TheMightyX! Waiting to receive the coins What about current giveaway? Can i participate in it too, or it is only for new people? Hi guys. Still didn't receive coins from 1st giveaway. I don't think TheMightyX ever sent me the instruction to send you a stake. If he hasn't added it to the next giveaway sheet or emailed it to me, then he can drop me a PM and I'll sort it then.

An update would be really great, here.

Distribution of the next round of coins has been a little delayed, as my system suffered two blue screens yesterday. It's very likely the graphics card, so I've uninstalled and reinstalled new drivers, so provided my system is BSOD free by tonight, I can start the distribution. I just wouldn't want to run a wallet with that sort of crash, as I have no idea if it would cause problems. I'm sure it'll be fine now. Worst case I'll just have to run smaller batches, but I'd rather get the coins out asap.

If that's BTC to spare, then spread it across 4-6 decent coins. If it's all the BTC you have, I'd only invest 1 or 2 of it.

I think bitcoin will worth 1200$ within 1 month.
I highly doubt it.

Anyone with half a million USD could literally propel a coin into the top 5 on coinmarketcap and double their money.
Also, anyone with half a million USD certainly wouldn't be posting here for advice.

It is september and I am expecting giveaway payments. Also there need to be better promotion, first two months there was people commenting every 15 min, but now there is one post per 3 days. Maybe get new PR and give him a few shares and start promoting this coin. I can also share on twiiter or facebook. Not to worry. Giveaway funds will start being sent out tomorrow.

Sometimes I do wonder if all this fud against exchanges just isn't some personal rivalry.
Again, no evidence, just "a friend of a friend" told me. Posted by an account registered..lets see..today.
Seems legit.

just ask for a rollback.
To day 0? I'm sure the big holders would love that one.

If I've got any coins to send out, I'll look tonight. Been pretty busy with work lately.

This is what worries me about NXT. Can't you just literally bruteforce it until you come across weak passwords?
yeah and that is not FUD'ing but a valid concern !!! They could easily introduce some basic protection. Prevent weak passwords from being allowable. Temp I.P ban users who make too many password attempts. Force two-step verification. There are so many options to choose from, and I can't see any valid counter-argument to implementing some basic security protection. You wouldn't expect your online bank to let you have such weak security. Account Control is coming up soon as a NXT feature....it'll allow you to cold-wallet and lockdown your account. But the point is: the user is responsible for his own security. NXT is safe, provided you use a decent password and the normal security precautions such as anti-malware scanners and not clicking on every link you see. Ultimately it's the user's responsibility, yes, but even allowing weak passwords to begin with seems counter-intuitive if hackers are allowed unlimited password attempts.

i hope price of this coin will be raise big not like other coin
like shopX coin he promise in 3 days his coin will be to the moon but the fact is that coin will be to the death
The shopX announcement thread title said it would go up 10x in a few days! So it must be true then.

Probably about 3 or 4 BTC. All of it got sucked away when the price of alts dropped. Kept re-investing. My own fault for not setting some aside.

I can't be the only person here who is sick of the same old mantras and rhetoric.
Now's the time to buy.
Just hold. The price will go back up.
Very cheap right now.
That last one I really must emphasise. It is a fallacy. There is no such thing as "cheap" Whatever the price is, is fair, based on the current market conditions. Coins can be under-valued or over-valued, but saying a coin is cheap has no bearing on anything. We see the same kind of repetitious vacuous nonsense every day that tries to convince people to buy this altcoin or that altcoin, and very rarely do we get any sensible reasoning.
A lot of people are posting about Captcoin and Bitshares right now, for example. Neither of which I currently hold, I should point out. But every new thread I see tells me nothing about these coins, and in fact I would go as far to say that seeing a barrage of threads on particular coins devoid of any rational arguments is in fact turning genuine coin investors away, and merely appealing to newbies and those who are easily swayed.
I know it's all about who shouts the loudest, here, but it would be nice to see a bit more thoughtful technical analysis, don't you think? No wonder the scam coins thrive. The level of scrutiny is minimal at best.
