Well, the next promised shipping date is just around the corner. If they delay this one, then I think we all know the writing is on the wall. Complete vapourware. At least you'll be able to use their latest promised shipping date against them I suppose.

EBT still has some potential. Which is why I'm holding/minting.

I mean no disrespect, but your time would be better spent joining a team, rather than creating one. Or pay a trustworthy developer to develop your idea.
pretty hard to find a trustworthy developer for a decent price isn´t it ? Not every developer out there is unscrupulous. There are trustworthy devs, but they're not as easy to find. I could certainly recommend a couple.

You guys seem to be doing some interesting things. I'll keep an eye on it.

The ‘get rich quick‘ mentality that is required to constantly get defrauded Think that pretty much sums this entire forum up ... People need to take off their green-tinted spectacles. The scammers wouldn't bother if there weren't people lining up to fill their pockets.

I can't say the idea of another big hoard of FBI-seized crypto sounds like a positive step forward.
Agreed but I think this time FBI will not be able to seize. I mean even FBI cannot break crypto. Btw. crypto is the very definition of crypto currencies unlike Bitcoin where 99% of the computational effort is wasted and not used for crypto. For a decentralised form of currency, the cryptocurrency community does seem somewhat un-phased by how centralised it is by exchanges, gambling sites, underground black markets, etc..

Some guys keep telling us all the time that they don't like bitshares at all, these guys definitely are holders of huge stacks of crapcoins and shitcoins and see bitshares as the tool of the destruction of their shitcoins.
It could be great fun and amusing to tell us what kind of crapcoins you are holding!
Some of the coins I hold are so crap I doubt they're worth the hard drive space they're written on. I'm ashamed to own them, let alone defend them.

No amount of memes is going to save a currency that has a growing coin cap.

Lots of speculation and conjecture, but so far little evidence.
I'm all for sniffing out scams, but the links are tenuous at best.

A flawed concept. Crypto currency is meant to be decentralised. A backed crypto is entirely reliant on a person's word that your coins are worth the asset they are holding. You're expected to trust these assets exist, will continue to exist, and that this guarantees the crypto a minimum base value.
This might have worked for banks, once, and perhaps it works for large corporations, but on this level? No. Absolutely not.

People are obsessed with features, around here. It's about consumer adoption.

Well, the problem is known about, and it's going to get fixed. Good enough for me. I'll just have to wait.

Still unsure if BitsharesX is just a flash in the pan. Quick rises can mean quick falls.

26th isn't bad, but we'd need a lot more votes. Again, I'm not overly concerned we're not on an exchange yet. I think there's this weird mentality that the sooner you get a coin listed on an exchange the better. Surely it's better to reward those who keep their wallets open and POS their coins, rather than dump them on an exchange? In that sense, the longer we wait, provided the community grows, the better.

Well, at this rate it's going to be weeks until my wallet syncs. I'll wait until there's a fix to this issue. Could just need more nodes, but I've been running my PC two days straight, and I'm still not synced.

Digital proof-of-money ownership protocol backed up by decentralised gold-based micro-transactions on a cloud-based peer-to-peer networked Atari.
I said please post your great idea? You may have missed the sarcasm in my original post, I think. An idea that could overtake Bitcoin in and of itself is inherently worthless.

Try restarting your wallet. My coins have appeared in my balance, but mine is getting constantly stuck too. I think someone should go put the up-to-date block chain on mega, as this is getting frustrating. The closer I get, the more I have to restart my wallet. I don't think I'll ever sync at this rate.
It might be a node issue. Just not enough people active right now with the rest of the blockchain.

Something isn't right at all. I'm seeing blocks of 1000 unconfirmed EBT whiz past as I download the blockchain (when I was solo mining), but NONE of them are going into my confirmed balance. I mined all those blocks.
Happening with all of us. My solo mines, pool mines, and transactions with others show up in the ledger, but no balance. I'll try the repairwallet command tomorrow once my wallet has synced. It's a bit discouraging, but hopefully there will be a future fix for this, or it's due to the transition to the new wallet.

I wonder what it is that makes imbeciles like OP make threads like these.
A - He's a bagholder B - He's a shill C - He's a dev D - All of the above
