1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Counterparty & Pepe the frog on: March 15, 2017, 12:05:12 AM
So I've recently begun studying counterparty, as the idea has me really interested.

It seems as if most of the activity on the XCP chain is surrounding a Pepe trading game. Like, most of the assets, most of the volume.

Being new to counterparty, is there anyone that can point me to non-Pepe assets?  Anything "actually working" on the counterparty system at this stage of the game?

Thanks for all newb info on this.

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Segwit | Blocksize debate - please help me understand on: March 14, 2017, 10:35:35 PM
Hello,

1) Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. If someone could point me to where the main discussion is happening on this, I would be most appreciative. I searched the forum and found lots of Russian discussion.

2) Blocksize. In some ways this is really exciting - the world is using Bitcoin! Obviously, this thing now needs to scale - in some way. That could be off-chain clearing houses, an increase in block size, SegWit or Lightning network... so many ways it could happen, and a seemingly deadlocked debate on the path forward. I am seeking info to prep for a podcast on the subject. Yeah I know many people have done a podcast on the subject but I like to talk into my computer and I haven't done it in a while. So I have some questions. Any help is appreciated:

3) Where can I read information on the various popular Blocksize solutions? I am digging through bitcointalk looking but not finding much

4) I heard discussion on some of the solutions is banned here (is that true?). While that is a bit shocking, I would appreciate a PM if there is another place to view one or more of the banned solution discussions.

5) Can anyone explain to me why SegWit wasn't universally accepted as the solution when it was introduced?

6) If anyone can explain why the various different parties are fighting so vigorously, I would love that. I can't seem to find the core reasons why community is at each others' throats.

Thanks for all helps.

Hello SwC faithful:

I'm sure you have seen the news today.  (yup, after a quick scroll up, you have seen the news)

First off, SwC will continue as is.

I am going to step back for an undetermined amount of time and deal with this legal matter.  The personal safety of myself and my family is first and foremost to me.  This is a very serious matter.  I'll update you when I can.

you will be left in good hands with ST7.  I have all trust in them.

Technologically I expect the project to continue forward on the path described.  As always, all funds secure.

I have retained top legal representation in Nevada.  This is going to deplete my funds rather quickly, and they only take fiat so I'm asking for fiat donations here:

and bitcoin donations in the first comment of this Reddit are also appreciated at this extremely tough time:

Hi,

I haven't read the previous pages, so I don't know if more people have the same problem as me. I have forgot my password of my account (Josephtt).
When I ask the client to send me a reset code, it says that it has been send, but I can't find it in my inbox.
Is this a known problem? Can it be fixed?

1)  I'm proud of the freeroll selection right now, and I look to augment it with krillrolls in the near future

2)  Client & connection issues have gotten much better but there are a few bugs to still kill.  We should have another client update in the next day or 2.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: April 22, 2015, 02:18:38 PM
We just did things.

Clients will need to be updated, and will report under help -> "About SwC Client" that it is version 1.0.0.5

The auto-updater is working for most, if it doesn't for you then try:

1)  Go to program files / swcpoker & click pokerupdate.exe
2)  If that doesn't work, download and install again:  http://swcpoker.eu/downloads/swcsetup.exe
3)  If *that* doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall.

this is likely overkill, as most are reporting an easy client update.

ST7 continues to improve the current system & new client work has begun.

While "Krill Week" is still a few weeks away and has yet to be finalized, you can expect the return of Krillrolls shortly.

I have tried all 3 a few times now.  Doesn't fix the issue.  Thanks for responding and I hope you get it fixed.   I should add that I am running Parallels 9 and the current version of OS X.  So one version behind on Parallels, which hasn't been a problem for anything else.

glitch gave me a workaround for the problem.  Hit him up if you are having problems running under a VM!

All <3 if anyone that solves their VM-SwC issue posts it publicly to help others at this early stage of SwC.

We have krillrolls & clients on the horizon, and while "Krill Week" has been discussed internally, details are not finalized.  Expect the return of krillrolls in a couple of weeks.

For clients, We will need to wait 2-3 months, but Android is now under development, with Mac soon to start, and HTML 5 & Linux planned.
