Yeah it is the other negative: u get 35 for reaching 500, some 50 for other point (dont remember) and 100 for reaching 2500. If even we suppose u reach 2500 when u paid 2500 mBTC rake (which is less), then u have already bennpaid 185mBTC which is ~ 7/5% rakeback.
But then from 2500 to 10000 is a flat journey until u reach 10K and get a flat %2 rake.
Seals is a nice poker room, but I think their promotions needs a complete revision and repair.

1)  when I first started playing SwC, in early 2011, I thought the krill system was stupid and asked Freemoney to scrap it right away.  Boy was I wrong.

2)  unlike other sites, krill never goes down, only up.  Your krill RB% can only go up, so it needs to go slow.  My krill level right now is ~250k, good for 27% RB.  Now obviously I'm the Chairman site pro, but if I were a regular player I'd be happy about this now.  Also, I'm not a super-grinder, meaning I don't have 4x tables of cash up every day for 4+hrs, so this level is achievable in a reasonable timeframe.

3)  The system can certainly use tweaks, and we are going to tweak as the site continues.  Expect a more logical progression and yes we will make a prize for 5000 krill eventually too Smiley  [we get that 1 lots]

Whats the deal with turning peoples chat to black ? Anita finally had her chat turned to black I see but she was an amusing troll. Just wondering because I thought it was uncensored chat even though she is really annoying pretty harmless. Hope I don't ever get my chat turned to black.

Bitcoin making price of poker go up again ugh I liked the price at 110 level cracking 130 today.

Hi,

sometimes a chat needs a-blackin', usually do to excessive trolling or chat-flooding.

The fact that it was blacked, and not fully removed, usually means the person didn't do severe harm and just needed a time out.  I likely forgot to un-time out, but that's the risk you run when you fuck up the SwC chat!

No problems to email me micon@sealswithclubs.eu after the fact if it seems like the punishment went on too long.

First units sold and shipped.

Ran into some issues with eBay (they lol-ishly label ecig a tobacco product and thus ban it's sale)  so posted up the first kit on bitmit.

getting lots of positive feedback so far.  Seems that ecig may be perfect for bitcoin, now that paypal-ebay don't like it...

LHE rake question, per web site ..

"Limit games with a big blind less than 0.1 BTC have 2.5% rake and a 2BB cap. Limit games with a big blind of 0.1 BTC or more have 1% rake and a 0.007 BTC (7 chip) maximum."

Is 2BB cap true .. if so then cap is really unlimited in LHE as pots don't get that big .. in a 10/20 limit game, 20 chips would be the cap.  I'll guess it is a typo, if not lets get that rake max same as higher limit or NLHE ...

I am pretty sure there is a 7 chip cap on sub-100 bb limit games... Freemoney will verify this soon.

we will always keep adjusting rake so it is fair

what is a "local" online poker room?

Are you planning on supporting multiple flavors and amounts of nicotine? I noticed that you only have tobacco flavored. From what I've heard and seen, variety in flavors and levels of nicotine seem to be desired from vapers.

Yes, we plan to expand to a full suite of flavors, nicotine levels, and hardware devices.

We are starting simple, selling something that IMO a current smoker that knows nothing about vaping should buy to see what a "real" setup delivers

A quick update from a Seal Team 6 meeting last night:

Server side improvements continue.  The boys tested a new piece of complex code that does some important shit.  It was cool, I got to play it for a while.  Yes, when ST6 congregates I'm like the child that runs into the movie and doesn't understand and has to ask the adults.  The adults don't tell me much, and I like it that way.  blissfully ignorant, playing with their amazing new toys.

Note that massive multi-human efforts continue where you cannot see.  ST6 is busting hump for the players.  We want new games, massive tourneys, a huge super-site for all to fire on - and the new-new is being actively worked on.

Thanks again for the outpouring of support, and while it will still likely be months before our players get that "ah-ha" Oprah moment, note that we are working hard towards that, and after you get that 1st ah-ha, the months following that will make your jaw hit the ground.

Gonna come at 'em hard this time.

Where can I go to read more about the eGo eCig? I think ecigs are a good (and welcome) fit with bitcoin (and bitcoiners), hope it goes well.

tyvm.  There is unfortunately not a lot of study or information out there about ecigs or vaporizing nicotine in general.

IMO there currently exists and effort from the tobacco industry to fight the mainstream acceptance of ecigs, and IMO in the coming years it will get harder.  These things are going to kill a a % of smokers, and that rich, old-ass, politician-pocketing industry will fight back hard.

Any specific questions you have been vaping for ~2 yrs now.
992  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Ecigs for bitcoin | bitcoinvapes.com on: May 21, 2013, 04:56:14 PM
thinking about ordering 2 kits in the morning

any questions you have I can answer here or PM or vapedontsmoke@gmail.com

cool might have to get one can i just transfer on seals?

For proper accounting, you need to use the bitpay checkout system.

Oooooh now I can fuel my  cancer with bitcoins

you are only vaping a mixture of nicotine, pg, vg, and flavoring.  Forget the ~7000 other chemicals you usually ingest by combusting tobacco.  Will the FCC come at me bro if I say it's much fucking safer, obviously?  maybe.  But I currently live in a police state.

996  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PSA: 'Bitcoins' in Ripple are not Bitcoins. They are not real, can be seized. on: May 19, 2013, 07:50:42 PM
I want this on record that I cannot understand Ripple.  I am not the smartest on these forums, I know that, but when I found bitcoin I keep researching the answers to questions I kept having.  I am still in that research process, 2+ yrs later:  and I'm still finding answers, and I'm never left hanging without an answer - I am always able to find it for myself or ask Freemoney to explain it to me.

With Ripple, I only generate questions, not answers.  How the pre-mine work?  what is an xrp, in reality? who got 50B xrps?  so they hold all the Ripple "debt" ?  so the initial friends of opencoin get most of the initial rights to issue trust (debt) ? - I watched that video about Gateways and pathways and became extremely confused.  I cannot find any answers.  How do I sell 1 btc for USD?  Is this possible with ripple?

It seems way too complex and not needed in any way.

I have said this about litecoin / devcoin / feathercoin [lol] / the other alt-cryptos - there is 1 world-wide adopted crypto-currency, it's called bitcoin, and many many many businesses will be built on top of this amazing layer - PPl will try and copy this bitcoin model in many ways, trying to create another "base layer" for others to build on, but there is not a second bitcoin IMO.

After reading the whitepaper and their website, it seems to me that Ripple is trying to be bitcoin, or seems jealous of bitcoin - but again I admittedly do not understand it nor will take much more time to do so unless many of the bitcoin'ers that I respect start supporting it or at least explain it to me.

Don't forget, the BIG BTC is popping off today at 3pm Server time like it does every Sunday!

The biggest bitcoin poker tournament each week only happens at SealsWithClubs.

I'll be there, why not join me for the 950+50 with the shot at over 14 coins!  The BIG BTC is now big enough that I personally sweat this tournament, I almost never miss it, and I feel heartbroken when I fall short (I have won it twice)

but enough about me - don't you want the glory?  the coins?  the hoards of women that come with such a crypto-currency come-up?

Enter the "BIG BTC" NOW!

Wow, this looks very nice!

Well then allow me to tease a bit...

-- Server side improvements continue
-- Testing new modules continue
-- Linux & Mac Clients soon-ish
-- New games and features after "the hard stuff" is done.  Best guess, and it's only a guess when it comes from me, is 6 months.   I want OFC badly.  I mean really bad.  But I also want Stud / Badugi / Badeucey / 2-7 single & 3x draw / mix games / full tourney schedule / etc.

I have the blood lust for online poker action.  SwC will continue to be molded into the super-site our players ask us to make.  We are making it.  It will take a while, but it will be awesome.

Saturday's 10,000 guarantee will also have an AVATAR FTW

that's right, win the donkfest tomorrow, get one of those sweet avatars you see floating around!  Hard to get 'em!
