What jurisdiction does Spain have anyway? Prolly the best they can do is make it illegal for their citizens to use Bitcoinica.  Huh
2822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oh the Cognitive Dissonance on: February 17, 2012, 12:55:21 AM
Can you feel it now, Bears? Can you feel the cognitive dissonance now?

Will you recognize it early enough to get your coins back, and perhaps some more?

lol. Dud rocket....

Just wait til the weekend sellers arrive..

You mean the ones that already sold all their coins this week?

Hey Oldminer, even proudhon's more bullish than you.  I'd change my mind if I were you Wink

Nah Im longterm short  Grin

Oh, and I like it when I share a minority view of the market.

2824  Economy / Speculation / Breakout imminent! on: February 16, 2012, 11:18:19 PM

Which way we going? Up or down?

2825  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm calling a bottom too on: February 16, 2012, 10:43:19 PM
I believe this is called a "bull trap."

I hope you meant "bear trap," because bull traps don't go down.....

I'm calling it a bull trap because as soon as the price gets high enough it will be zapped with a 6-10k sell off.  Bull. trap.

Thats Bull Crap  Tongue
2826  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm calling a bottom too on: February 16, 2012, 10:02:14 PM
I think we could see a short term move up but I predict it will happen after the weekend (and after a weekend dip) if it happens at all. Longer term the outlook still looks bleak (in my opinion).
2827  Economy / Speculation / Re: myself's secret rocket on: February 16, 2012, 09:55:47 PM
So buy up? More money in = more money out in the longer term  Grin

But to buy FPGAs, or to help the other miners pay their bills?  That is the question.

Also, IDK about taking out more credit... even if they trust me to pay it back, I'd rather have more income secured first.

Yea I was joking. IMO using credit to speculate has to be one of the worst things anyone could do.
2828  Economy / Speculation / Re: The fact that bitcoins are $4.25 US is amazing. on: February 16, 2012, 09:46:32 PM
Its not that amazing when you consider it used to be worth $32
2829  Economy / Speculation / Re: myself's secret rocket on: February 16, 2012, 09:42:45 PM
someone wants to buy at 4.2 or this will go down like a rock

damn seams i was wrong .....

Thanks to the volatility of the past month or so the average price of my bitcoins given what I initially invested last year is far enough below $1 that I really don't care anymore.  Somebody wake me up when it looks like the price is going to go below, let's just say, $0.50.
Your average price should be negative, like mine is. It’s easier to trade "free money".

Oh how I yearn for the days when I was 1/2 a percent of mining.  Oh well, my mining operation is tiny now, but I've paid off my hardware and paid the electric bill.

On the other hand, I'm unemployed atm and I've got a few thousand dollars in available credit at 0%.....

So buy up? More money in = more money out in the longer term  Grin

Bullish ones. Smiley

Ah I see. Ok, lets return to this thread in oh..a few days or so (or after the weekend even  Grin)
2833  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will we break the wall at 3.9? on: February 16, 2012, 07:33:58 PM
Just wait, Oldminer. You are a fool and remind me of the people who find climate change a lie because it’s been a cold winter this year.
Climate change is a lie actually lol
Well, climate change isn't a lie per se, but anthropomorphic global warming is a complete and utter scam. You get funded if you say humans are causing all the heating, and you get no funding if you say otherwise. The big governments are happy to push this lie with "science" to support their ideals, namely, that all the rich countries need to stop polluting and using fossil fuels, etc. Meanwhile, we've had much higher temperatures in the past, we've had much lower temperatures in the past, and we have ample proof of this. But there's no money/power to be had by saying that the sun, atmosphere, earth, etc. are all doing their own thing. So instead, let's shoot ourselves in the foot to "save" the planet. Yawn.

See not everyone agrees with your POV Blitzboom  Grin
2834  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling the Bottom on: February 16, 2012, 07:32:50 PM
lol..we all know Blitzboom is one of the major remaining bulls around here..  Grin
That’s why I’m right.

Also, I switched my stance several times. I was actually short BTC twice, but you people have overdone it.

Too much volume, too many consecutive down days, too many sells, too much panic.

This will have consequences. At least short term.

What sort of consequences?
2835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling the Bottom on: February 16, 2012, 07:28:13 PM
Grin  It's going to be a good weekend.

For bulls or bears?

3.878 will hold at least during the whole weekend.

So you agree the value could drop over the weekend from its current $4.29 and hit $3.87?
2838  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we break the wall at 3.9? on: February 16, 2012, 07:14:31 PM
Its Thursday guys don't forget.

Yup. Been caned enough in the past for forgetting this one small fundamental.

Oh, and for the love of god can we please not have any posts about how the weekends have no impact/bearing on the price of Bitcoin....  Roll Eyes
Enjoy the Weekend Rally. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=63312.0
