The tremors have begun...
2803  Economy / Speculation / Re: Only a few charts ... on: February 24, 2012, 02:22:39 AM
Your point kind sir ?

I also think along with a point, people that post this kind of stuff should disclose their position.  The real manipulators are the ones that post trying to get others to pump or dump.
damn, I once wrote a sleep, missed the rally .. Yesterday I did not know where the price will go the same way as you.. I do not want to force anyone to sell or buy so I wrote this "vague" Damn, that does not mean "if I woke up, you need to have time to sell now .."! That's fine! So we will not go down much! (carefully)

Engrish?

This just means there was no bid between that wall and the bottom of that slope. I have seen it all the time. As for the wall fucking with us I am reminded of the walls at 5.20 and 5.25. Someone is having fun fucking with the community. We need to learn not to panic and do the opposite of what they expect, instead of being herded like sheep to the slaughter

Man im so used to this shenanigans that Im almost f*cking brain dead to it...
2807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mexican Standoff on: February 22, 2012, 02:27:24 AM
Obviously someone doesnt want the price to drop any further so keeps throwing money at it. Its no different to when the price was in the mid-$5 range but the current 'manipulator' is a smaller player.
2808  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oldminer's secret submersible.. on: February 22, 2012, 02:08:37 AM
Looks like your submersible is a floater.

Sometimes when you shoot something it doesnt die straight away but continues to wriggle and fight for its life until you pump a few more bullets into it  Grin

This thing is done. Just like it was in November. Get out while you can.

3.878 was not the bottom. S3052 is right. There will be another big selloff very soon.

After some cheap bitcoins eh?  Grin

$4.21 'wall' has gone..
2814  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling the Bottom on: February 19, 2012, 05:03:20 AM
Looking at the long term charts in detail I'm beginning to wonder if in fact we have hit the bottom...hmmm...

Selling pressure has dropped significantly. Though I would not discount another large sell or two either.

Yea Im thinking along the lines of another bounce or 2 off the bottom (assuming we've hit the bottom).

This was a great picture, very to scale, until you ruined it with a person hanging from the bird.. clearly the bird could not support that figure.

Shesssh!

Tongue

Well I think the idea is the bird picks it up then tries to fly to the mountain but finds its too heavy so drops it about half way up  Tongue

I've been doing a little analysis of the long term chart , I have to say first of all I'm by no means an expert so I'm not offering financial advice , using the MRP ( mountain range principle ) I've factored in various variables like wind speed , air pressure and vertical fatigue , it appears we could be forming what's known as a "cup" formation , (bitcoin can be seen waving from the handle area around July 2012) . If this analysis is correct this may be a great opportunity to take advantage of the next peak .

popularity has nothing to do with it  Smiley. both of us are interpreting where we believe bitcoin is exactly in regard to the many complex cycles (waves) that encompass all the various trading emotions of all participants trading bitcoin. Neither he nor I can affect the larger path of bitcoin in a meaningful way. If, by chance, we were to affect the price, we would unintentionally quicken or extend a sell-off or buying spree that was going to happen anyway.

I have no clue what S3052 is writing but I'm betting he is playing the safe route here and saying the path of least resistance is down...from a purely technical standpoint, that assertion is correct.

S3052 is still more popular - as evidenced by the recent sell off immediately after his newsletter was sent.

That is all true - but still it cannot be coincidence that there was a sudden drop in minutes after the email arrived.

When everyone says 'bearish' its time to buy

this happens 10x+ every day.  why!?

Yea been having a LOT more issues lately with it than I used to. Either Gox is goxing worse than before or theres a problem with the site. I tend to suspect the site as sometimes I get no connection at all.

The WebSocket / socket.io connection is purely client-side, so problems there are entirely between your browser and MtGox.

The only things that come from the server are the depth table and the chart bars data.

Ok cheers. I did change my AV from Avira to Avast recently so I'll check to see if perhaps some sort of webguard is running. Thanks for letting me know.
