481  Bitcoin / Electrum / Creation of multisig 2 of 3 addresses with trusted coins on: August 01, 2016, 10:56:52 PM
I noticed that the window showing the transaction details before signing does not show that the trusted coin addresses are multisig addresses and how many signers are needed. The system  works though, no question.

But what I would like to know is how are the addresses created. I mean public keys are needed. Electrum creates two and receives one from trusted coins. So there is no way to meddle in any way with the amount of keys and needed signers I guess.

Only want to confirm.
482  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Unable to send on: August 01, 2016, 10:51:50 PM
I sent mBTC to Electrum from Circl and now I am unable to send it further.

Electrum returns an error message of "Invalid Lines Found"  Line#1 and my wallet number on other site.

What is wrong?

You might check if you have a blank space at the end of the bitcoin address. I think I had this error message connected to this one time.

484  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: August 01, 2016, 03:56:34 PM
Is here some support from blockchain wallet? What to do when the email attached to a wallet is not receiving the emails from blockchain anymore? Probably because the provider blocked those emails and they aren't in spam folder either.

I had created a couple of accounts in the past for relatives but now when logging in it asks for confirmation of email. Which I can't give. And the other option, to provide the mnemonic code, claims it will create a new wallet.

So what to do in order to aquire back the funds?

Thanks!

"intended to be worldwide accepted in online games"

Can you give me some examples of wtf you are on about and also some evidence that you have taken even first steps towards this? This is clearly a shitty scam attempt, sabastion I'd think twice before escrowing and making community feel safe with this crap.

Clearly a scam.

I do escrow all ICO's because that way I can help prevent scams from happening. It helped often enough when it only comes into scam devs hands at the end because then there is enough time to find things that do not match.

Well, when you say it this way... I can't say if investment start because people feel save having the funds in escrow. I think they start because they wanted but want to see first what the dev delivers... before their funds will be send to the dev. Or he doesn't and they get their coins back in a limited timeframe. Maybe it's not clear to say. I only can say that doing this helped stopping a good bunch of scams already.

Please add this hvco address in my text. It's from yobit:

486  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitNotify.com - Watch / Track any bitcoin address Balance. Get Notification on: August 01, 2016, 02:54:46 PM
I know it's an old thread though it's the service thread of this service so it's fine since the dev opened it.

blipp, I sent you a pm regarding your service. I'm not sure if it works anymore at all though I do not get a verification nor notification email.

Is it only me or have others the same experience?

Hope it can be solved since I like easy solutions.

@JhonTravis... please make it clear in OP that the HVCO-Address is NOT my escrow address. I only posted a bitcoin address. The "scrow" below my text let it look it it is mine even though it is in smaller letters.

Besides that... is hvco traded somewhere? I can hold hvco on an exchange when investors are fine with the risks involved with exchanges.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: !!![ANN][ACES]-ACES COIN ICO - GAMING CRYPTOCURRENCY-PURE POS 33%first year!!! on: July 30, 2016, 10:08:55 AM
SebastianJu,
your services are as admirer-able as you are.
most people that have been on this forum for any amount of time know your valued service .
your involvement is awesome and indisputable.
thank you for your services.

Thank you for your friendly words. Smiley I do escrow most ICO's I get asked to escrow even when I think that it might be more work than reward. Though I hope that I can make the ICO's happening on bitcointalk a bit safer. Or escrow trades in general I think of it as a way to help the bitcoin community. Tongue In fact it's a win for dev and investor most of the time though devs really should, before starting a new ICO, check out how the successfull ICO's worked.

For example I'm one of the escrows of Stratis. They took in a real good bunch of coins. See: https://blockchain.info/address/3AN1mqVr1Z5xX3t9Z7VGkrSwgUJn74HkuE
But they worked on the coin months upfront, they have unique features and are open and and and. Hangouts, everything. And at the end their effort gets rewarded. Devs have to create something convincing and then be able to convince people.

Just what I observed. Tongue

I was asked by JhonTravis, the issuer, to provide an Escrow address that is used to collect the funds for the ICO of ACES Coins.

Who am I?

Iam SebastianJu, Iam escrow on Bitcointalk since years. Iam not connected to the issuer or the coin. Iam an independent third party who acts as an escrow in an attempt to make the ICO more secure. See my Servicethread for reviews: [ANN] SebastianJu - Free Legendary Escrow Service - Escrowed over 8150 BTC.

Safety from Escrow

Once the Wallet and the ACES Coins are released to the investors we will wait 7 days to see if problems arise with the wallet or Coin, then I will release the Bitcoins to the issuer. This way of handling things is usefull, the three days waiting time already stopped 2 scammy ICO's from happening, at least one other was stopped already before that time.

Please note that the safety I can provide only reaches up to the point where I released the bitcoins to the issuer.

Escrow Address

The escrow address is:
Code:
1NiiyQALtH9hnTYwD13pxBpb7NmNSDL3uK

Don't send to a quoted escrow address. ALWAYS only check out my post directly and send to that address! And please check regularly if the escrow link or address was changed in the first post of thread. Inform me fast by pm, post in the thread about it and give red trust if possible to warn others fast then. If you sent me a pm then I will know about it and can act by giving red trust to the issuer to prevent damage.

Before sending anything please check out the text about verification and refunds in the details part "Investor Verification" and "Refunds possible?".

Before payment I would suggest you take a look at http://www.cointape.com/ to check out if the network gets spammed again. Below the graph there is shown what amount of fee is needed to get instant confirmation. Checking that page could prevent that transactions are stuck for hours or days because they dont get a confirmation.

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
160730 This is the escrow address for the ICO of ACES Coins and the escrow address is 1NiiyQALtH9hnTYwD13pxBpb7NmNSDL3uK

-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Message signed with an old address of mine, that I posted may 2013 on bitcointalk. See my Servicethread: [ANN] SebastianJu - Free Legendary Escrow Service - Escrowed over 8150 BTC.

You can check a signed message very easy. The fastest way is to visit http://wallet-2sx53n.sakurity.com/#verify.

Investor Verification

There are two ways to verify your investment which is important when, for some reason, the investment has to be refunded back to investors.

First way:

Only send Bitcoins from an address you can sign a private message from or at least where you are able to get the private key for that address! This is important since in case of REFUND you can't proof otherwise that you sent bitcoins when you, for example, sent the bitcoins directly from an Exchange. In that case better send them first to your wallet and then from there to the escrow address.

For information about what you need to sign a message you can check out this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345

Second way:

Another alternative to proof your ownership of a payment would be to send me the last 4 numbers of your user id as satoshies in your transaction.

Move your mouse over my username, see my profile id is 18640. You can see yours when you are in your profile and hover the mouse over the links on the left menu. Something like u=18640 in the links show your User-ID. The last 4 digits are 8640. When you add these 4 numbers as satoshies to your payment then it is pretty sure it's your payment too.

For example you want to send 2 bitcoins and your profile id would be 18640 then you send 2.00008640 Bitcoin.

Refunds possible?

Refunds can only be done in case the issuer agrees or there are reasons to stop the ICO by the escrow, because there came up doubts that make the ICO too insecure to proceed.

As long as you did not verify your investment transaction in some way I will see your investment as unverified. Otherwise it could mean a random person could claim an investment as his investment and steal it from a shareholder.

Refunds can only be done instantly when you can proof ownership of the investment. Either by signing a message from the sending bitcoin address or by your investment amount matching your forum user id. See description about verification above.

If you can't proof the ownership of an investment and a refund needs to be done then you need to wait some weeks so that the risk of being scammed is lower for me and the (potential real) owner of that investment. You would want I protect your investment too when someone claims it was his investment and only can show the transaction id, right?

Good luck everyone with this ICO! Smiley

Edit to AmoreJaz...

I do not run the ICO. I never get involved that far. I only provide the escrow address so funds of investors are safe though I already told the issuer that involving me only will bring something when people want to invest but want security. He needs to provide info and trust so that people can see it is a coin that is worth to invest.

Anyway... I did the work to create this now...

JhonTravis asked me to provide an escrow address for this ICO. I would want to ask if there is interest in me providing an escrow address and would you use the address then. Regarding the altcoin investment availability... I can provide an escrow address on an exchange you trust and agree to the risks coming from it.

Let me know what you think.

In case you ask who Iam... check out my profile and my service thread... Smiley

Thanks!

Very good and trusted escrow. Your services are always desired.

If/When I do an ICO I will be using you for escrow.

Thank you for your friendly words... Smiley Let me know when you need me... for other things escrowed too, of course.

Huh... escrow changed? Luckily I have read the thread now since I wanted to know the name of the coin for my details post and last post from you that I received last night was asking me to post the details.

Well, it's fine. Blazed is a trustworthy escrow. Though killyou72, next time I would appreciate a notice when you change your mind. Wink

Holo designs  Grin they should be here in a week or 2, we'll post some nice shiny holo pictures for all!

The holo designs look great. Smiley Can't wait to see the endproduct. Regarding groupbuys or a groupshipping, I'm in germany. If there is a considerable amount of coins to be sent to europe then let me know. We would need to check out potential custom tax, probably depending on the height of the package value, and the reshipping costs and compare it with direct shipment cost.

I can give you any advice you need on shipping.
From 1 coin to all 300 of them................
Just let me know where and I will get you rates.

Considering the nature of these coins not being precious metal, the tax/VAT should be small.
The real value of your coins can be listed quite low..... around $1 per coin.

PM me if you would like more details/information.

Thanks

Thanks for the offer. Till now I only did pretty high value imports so your knowledge is valueable. Wink I'll shoot you a pm...

One of the escrows here. I only wanted to congratulate everyone being part of this ICO. The coins that were collected speak for itself.

We escrows will have an open ear so send us a pm if needed.

Besides... hope this moves on smoothly and will bring out something great at the end. Cheesy
498  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Introducing Supreme BTC " Signature Series" In honor of bitcointalk/Halving on: July 27, 2016, 07:18:15 PM
I'm not sure if all escrows are the same but sounds like if there is a case for a refund we got to sign a message? Or alternatively send some extra Satoshis to represent our user id?

Sounds a bit odd because if I send coins to the escrow address it surely is me, who else would send coins to the address?
Yes someone could claim it is their address by looking at the blockchain but if claims for refund are done via PM or even publicly on the thread only from the user that actually reserved the coins it should be pretty fail proof. The rules look like more geared toward ICOs.

However I never used escrow so this may be a standard? And how much is the escrow fee if any?

Another question, where are the coins shipping from? Which country? So to check what the international shipping fees could be like.

What happens if coins come up with scuffs, marks, are not perfect?
It is not unusual there is a bad batch or a few coins in a batch with issues.
Will OP mention any defect before shipping or give option for refund straight away before sending coins?
If yes all you need is to tell escrow user X wants a refund.

Now sounds like this is the first time the OP is commissioning coins, it does feel rushed and could be a recipe for disaster.
I know there is an escrow which could be used but sounds like you may not get yer money back if you can't prove it is your address.

I'm not trying to jinx it, hope it all goes well, but it the most unusual coin sale I've seen during the time I've been around.
Any clarification appreciated.  Smiley

Only saw your question now... Tongue The problem with refunds is that anyone can come and claim that a tx id is his. So in order to proof that it is a certain investors investment he either has to proof that he controls the sending address or already proofed it upfront with his investment.

The possibilities are... you send the normal amount from your own wallet where you CONTROL the private keys of the addresses. Then you are able to sign a message for the sending address. No one else than you can do that.

Second way is to proof it by sending the payment together with the last 4 digits of your bitcointalk forum user id. If your payment should be 0.1 bitcoins then it does not matter if you send it from an exchange where you don't control the privkeys WHEN you add the last 4 digits of your user id as satoshies. For example if your userid wouldbe 15678 then you would send 0.10005678. Which would proof pretty good that you were the person sending the coins since only 1 of 10k users could have the same id and it would be unlikely that there would be a conflict. It's the very most easy, fast and practically nocost way to proof the ownership of an investment. The fastest to check for me also.

Last resort would send a small amount of satoshies again from the same address if you can enforce it. Though in that case you could sign a message also.

If all was not done then a refund would take some time because you would not want me to tell you that another person without proof claimed your tx and I paid him out. Tongue

That's all. In this special case... you might be partly right... the usernames are already bound to a coin. But still... what if User A paid and User B claims the payment for his coins he preordered so both claim it's their payment and none of them can provide proof?

Normally most don't care about the rules... until a refund has to be done... which is way more likely with ICO's, I agree, though still... if everything goes as smooth as possible then everyone is happy. Wink

No escrow fee has to be paid by the customers. The OP will take care of tipping me. Smiley
499  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: The complete beginner's guide to making money from Bitcoin faucets on: July 26, 2016, 07:20:03 AM
Adsense will ban you anyway if you're a faucet. It's just a matter of how much time it will take them to find you. You can read about it here:
https://99bitcoins.com/google-just-murdered-99satoshis/

Guess it might only need a tip from a competitor then... and it looked to me like adsense was the only working solution for a working faucet that will bring the owner at least a little bit coins.

Actually I've been running the faucet for the past month or so with a profit without Adsense. Unfortunately it's like 10% of what I would be making with Adsense...

I can imagine... there is nothing like adsense. Which, at the end, leads to one having to be cautious alot when deciding where and how to implement adsense at all... no fun having to fear it being taken away easily. Roll Eyes
