841  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a businesspartner to make a few bucks a day on: April 11, 2016, 11:28:42 AM
Sounds risky. Why don't you do it with your paypal account? Was it banned because you auctioned illegal items? Roll Eyes

Everyone considering this should be very careful.
842  Economy / Services / Re: 0.2btc for hints sending sound/signal through concrete wall on: April 11, 2016, 11:23:33 AM
Oh well, I already see it getting used in neighbourhood quarrels. Roll Eyes

Or what purpose is that for?
843  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-04-11] Mysterious Coin Movement From Cryptsy to Bittrex on: April 11, 2016, 11:08:03 AM
A user by the name thunderbolt from bitcointalk was able to identify a 15000 UNO (roughly 90 BTC) transaction moving coins from a now defunct Cryptsy wallet to a Bittrex wallet. While James Sallah is the court appointed receiver for the Cryptsy funds, it looks like someone else also has access to the funds and attempted to cash out some altcoins.

Read More: http://themerkle.com/coins-move-from-cryptsy-to-bittrex/

Is that trustee James Sallah not knowledgeable about altcoins and he let them lie on the original addresses? Though I think it would be a hard task anyway to move all those coins after creating all those wallets.

But still 90BTC? When he would have started with the most valuable coins...
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: April 11, 2016, 06:26:02 AM
This is very annoying problem... if i want to send all my btc from counterwallet and i'm choosing address and clicking "MAX", then send, i'm always getting message like this:
Code:
Sorry, we got an error when trying to do the requested action: 'JSON-RPC Error:
Type: Server error

Code: -32000

Message: {"message": "Error composing send transaction via API: Insufficient BTC at address 176ZXsA526eRZuxMMCC4wEpZdJjadjvbdR. (Need approximately 0.6202586 BTC.) To spend unconfirmed coins, use the flag `--unconfirmed`. (Unconfirmed coins cannot be spent from multi\u2010sig addresses.)", "code": -32001}

' (API method: create_send).

If this persists, please click on the question mark button on the top right-hand corner of the screen for support options.

I should manually choose the amount that will be sended (the method of selection).

OK, what if i want to connect with support? Let's try it: question mark from right corner -> send ticket to support (link https://wallet.counterwallet.io/%22#\") -> page 404.

That error still exists? I think two weeks ago I had this too when I wanted to withdraw bitcoins. I then took them out by importing my privkey into a bitcoin wallet and sent the bitcoins from there without touching the minimum amount that is needed by xcp to hold shares.
845  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Has been 16 days since Camp BX received my Money Order.please help on: April 11, 2016, 05:57:43 AM
they located my money order and are processing it in their latest batch
they finally got back to me

thank you all for the tips

Sounds great. Good that it worked out for you. If I would have something on value there I would stop using them for now. Just to watch how it develops.
846  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 1984, BY George Orwell on: April 11, 2016, 05:53:38 AM
I think it's generally the case in many countries that they try to compensate the missing police manpower with more cameras. Though they don't even have enough people to use the material. So it's only helpful after something happened. For evidence. No higher security for citizens from that. Crimes will still happen.

And terrorism? It's proven that it did not help against it. Why should it? They are professionals and surely won't be catched by some stupid camera so they can be stopped.
847  Other / Meta / Re: Automatically exchange words on the forum? on: April 10, 2016, 06:22:57 PM
Interesting. Hope it helps to stop such things a bit in the future. Though I guess even senior members could be catched by such a masked link. At least I would await that they get a heads up when "bitcointalk" asks to login again. Smiley
848  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Has been 16 days since Camp BX received my Money Order.please help on: April 10, 2016, 06:15:45 PM
Well, the only other explaination besides "We got hacked" or "We teached you a lesson, victims", that came up in such situations with exchanges where cases where the users did not tell the whole truth, for example their identification was not acceptable because could be faked or such.

If you were honest then only pressure that is put on them might help. Though they do not even react on this thread so I wonder if they feel pressure at all. Maybe ask them to send you the funds until 2 weeks. If that didn't happen you will contact your lawyer to go to the next steps.
849  Economy / Services / Re: [ANN] SebastianJu - Free Legendary Escrow Service - Escrowed over 8150 BTC on: April 09, 2016, 06:27:00 AM
hello SebastianJu,
I read some comment about your service.no one have any complain for your service all are satisfied.thanks man  Smiley
do you accept under $50 worth btc as Escrow Service coz some people $50 also huge ?

I do as long as it is no item I have much work with. Bitcointalk accounts do not belong to that area. They mean a lot of of work and even risk because there are so many ways to scam me, if Iam not cautious.
850  Economy / Services / Re: [ANN] SebastianJu - Free Legendary Escrow Service - Escrowed over 8150 BTC on: April 07, 2016, 09:16:03 PM

What are you speaking about? Official religion. That only means that government should not be ruled by religions. It has nothing to do with making a religion illegal.
852  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: April 07, 2016, 09:00:20 PM
I'm not sure if there is a way to take out the bitcoins from cryptostock from accounts that have email confirmation enabled.

It is not. Believe me I tried many different tactics. No chance.

I think it might be that kumala reads the cryptostocks thread since he changed something on CS, I think. Cannabit was changed to trade stop by the issuer a couple of times but next day it was sat back. Though at one point, after I complained about it, the setting back stopped.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [LEMON] [ICO] LemonCoin ICO starting! on: April 07, 2016, 07:25:32 PM
I was informed that the lemon coins were spread to the investors. So now we go into the next step of escrowing invesment bitcoins. When the wallets are given out to the investors, which happened, and the coins were sent to them, the I negotiated with lemons to wait 7 days until I release the bitcoins to the address he gives me.

All investors received their coins or someone was missed?

Please investors and altcoiners use that time to check out the coin, the wallet and the issuer. If serious doubts come up about the ICO then this timeframe is a buffer.

I will release the coins when the remaining coins were burned on a proofable burn address.
854  Local / Off-Topic (Deutsch) / Re: Spiegel:Bundesjustizminister will zwingende lebenslange Haft für Mord abschaffen on: April 06, 2016, 09:58:23 PM

Steuerhinterziehung in Millionenhöhe?

855  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 100€ neteller for bitcoin on: April 06, 2016, 08:12:53 PM
Roni80 asked me to provide escrow for this deal.

I can do that though of course I can only ensure that the deal goes through and after I released the coins to the buyer I can not protect anymore. So please check out for yourself if neteller can be charged back or if there are similar risks. I can't tell about risks so it's up to the buyer.

If you are ok with these terms then send me and roni80 a group pm.
856  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: April 06, 2016, 06:54:26 PM
Thanks for the link, didn't know that thread yet. And I think I found the problem. It seems electrum is not able to handle sleep modi of windows. It seems the wallet runs normally, it connects to different servers and establishes connections but for some reason it is not on the newest level of updates all the time. The only solution I found till now is restarting electrum every time the computer comes form sleep mode.
857  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: April 06, 2016, 02:18:31 PM
During that time cars had been extremey expensive and complicated.Furthermore no infrastructure was build. No roads, no gas stations, cars stuck in the mud while horses had no problems.
"What happens when the car brakes in the middle of nowhere? And it's so noisy, and smells.Meh I will stick with my horse. It's solid and will always take me from A to B"

I guess you get my point.
Bitcoin is having many advantages. We all here know those. And everyone is giving them a subjective importance.

Well, you probably have a point. In fact I can't imagine the future without a currency that is somewhat like bitcoin. Science fiction movies already feature bitcoin. Cheesy

Though I wonder if bitcoin can survive the inner problems and the, very likely to await, outer problems.
858  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: April 06, 2016, 11:43:27 AM
When you ask the average person about bitcoin then they will ask you what they should use it for. Online money... well "I have paypal". And so on. The advantages of bitcoin are few. Cheap, fast and anonymous.

It is hard enough to convince people and at the moment we lose 2 of the three advantages slowly. So as long as this doesn't change...

But the argument "Why I should use this?We already have ..." is what people say about each new invention.
"Why should I use a car? We already have horses."
"Why should I use CD? We already have cassette recorders."
"Why should I use the internet? We have books and newspapers to get informations and knowledge".
You can continue this list with every new technology.

In terms of money:
First barter --> "No man give me a few eggs from your chicken, I don't want that coins"
Then metals --> " No man I don't want your piece of paper.Give me real money.Give mo gold or silver coins.
Then paper --> "No man I don't except these new weird plastic card. I want real money.Give me cash.Give me dollars."
Now cryptos --> "No man we don't accept Bitcoin. What is that? We only accept Visa, AMEX, Paypal, Giropay etc."

History repeats again and again.

You might be right but a car has definitely huge advantages against horses. What about bitcoin? The anonymity? Normal users don't need that. "I don't do anything illegal."

As someone asked me that question the first time I really was baffled why the heck that normal person should have a need for bitcoin. It made no sense at all. Well, at the moment the sense goes down even more with the losing advantages over other payment systems.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we stop the division in the Bitcoin community? on: April 06, 2016, 11:37:45 AM
It's fully normal that, when people think that the persons that rule something does not act in their interest anymore, they start to act in a way that supports their interest.

I'm not sure if classic can do that though. But it is a legit thing to disagree and do your own thing.

Besidest that, I think you misunderstand "divide et imperia". It means let two different groups fight each other and then win as the third party. Common thing the US is doing before they invade countries.

In bitcoin I don't see the third party and it's not like a third party could overwhelm all bitcoiners somehow.

That is, for now. Whe'd never know wen that third party would come and take over, or in what form. It may not be a person or even an organization, as it can be as simple as an idea.

I get what OP wants to say. This division isn't helping at all, but you see, this is the way to achieve a consensus. The US went first to a civil war before emerging as a global power. Maybe after this we'd be in the right path.

I agree. Bitcoin is really weak now. Not the price but bitcoin itself is pretty fragile. And it will become worse since I don't see a solution that will come fast enough to prevent the downspiral to move on.

And yes... a weak bitcoin would be the time to attack. Hopefully no plan is behind.
