I wonder if the price after the sale will be 10% or 25% more then it is now?

A bigger question would be how low will the price go for the later batch.  Will it be 30% less like from Oct Jupiter to Nov Jupiter?

also, anyone who has fall/winter now is enjoying the heat from their jupiters, but Neptunes in the summer might be an issue.

Summer for NA is not fun with that type of heat.

Really unhappy about this not being open to new customers. What a clusterfuck Sad
Check your PM

Thanks for the offer dude. Don't like the way KNC is handling this round right now. Something doesn't feel right.

Pretty fair.

Early buyers take all the risks.
This is a "little" rewards for them.

Don't need to come here "after the battle" whining how unfair the life is....  Roll Eyes

Always. Here is an example. If instead of buying 10 Jupiter units when BTC was at say $80 you used it to BUY or Keep the 900BTC @ $1000+ you can see the return is far greater.

Hindsight is 20/20

Its a gamble.

$1000 today?

Are the forum members attending the $1,000 party getting on their respective planes/trains?

I think a pause will come into play once BTC hits parity with Gold
1767  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 26, 2013, 07:39:50 PM
Closing in on the point where +-$10 is a 1% move.  That's pretty surreal.

Volatility at this price point is high. However the sentiment seems indicate that $1000 is within reach.
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 26, 2013, 07:37:51 PM
So who is annoyed that they bought a neptune at 12.0X BTC when the going rate is around 10.5 BTC right now/

You think that is a hard pill to swallow. If history is any indicator, the trading volatility can make your price 14btc or 7btc in a span of a few hours Smiley
1769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 26, 2013, 07:36:21 PM
I may have an early pre-order to sell. This all depends on whether KNC will release info or specs about power consumption or whether hosting will be made available.

At this time 30% less per GH/s from the old system 550Gh/s at 650Watts would make the 3TH unit close to 2500watts

Real engineers work with figures they know are applicable and will not promise anything unless they have a statistically significant reason to state otherwise.

Will they require a 20amp or more 220v connection, or? Any details you can pull from the KNC engineers would be helpful.

Yes would like to know this!

At 0.82watt per GH/s expected performance at the wall? I feel it is rather early to say with any certainty.

This is the results after 9 days 2 hours 12 mins on an updated firmware.

Watt at the wall range from 600 to 650 watts @120v for Jupiter units 1-4

Could be worse, you could be an early customer that can't buy one because they sell out before you get the chance....because greedy people ordered 10 plus intending to play the game of selling pre-orders or getting refunds.

Of course the reverse would have applied had they been open for all, early buyers almost certainly would have taken the early leap of faith and tested the waters only to find them all sold out now once proved..which would be very unfair. Massive risks are now reaping the promised rewards (..another massive risk lol )

KNC always said they'd do this. They are keeping their word.
The only reason you're not an existing customer is that you chose not to be, which is down to you 100%.

From what I know the most you can order is 10 units per transaction.

Two weeks it will be.

ordered 20 Neptunes...
Go big or go home motherfucker.....

You have to explain us how you did it because there is currently a 10 units limit per customer, at least for me (I tried too).

2 accounts

You can, and the way you do it is pay for one order and then repeat the process, but please use my reseller link, I'm gobsmacked no one ever does...

Smiley indeed re-seller links work great
1775  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnC Neptune order nr? on: November 26, 2013, 07:03:59 PM
What mean at 10 nupiter knc give one for free???

They have a reseller/referral program, 10 orders through my reseller link and get 1 free, so far I have 6 orders through my link (2 from myself and 4 other forum members).

You have to pay tax so technically its not free Smiley
1776  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnC Neptune order nr? on: November 26, 2013, 06:30:47 PM
How are you paying for these ? I'm not seeing how to order them on the KNC page.

You have to be logged in to your knc account and its not available to just everyone.
1777  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 26, 2013, 06:29:57 PM
i just picked up a Neptune, lets see if its delivered before hash fast.... lol

A neptune ? Isn't that a mining "device" for that failure of a company who doesn't even have a NDA with CIARA , and even had the nerve to ship some products?

Hardware is a gamble in today's trade environment..

What seems to be the best bet is buy and hold till you decide to take profits.
1778  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 26, 2013, 06:23:48 PM
I don't understand what point you are trying to make with your graph.
Isn't it obvious? We're going UP

The fight for 900 is over i think. The 900 wall won. He didn't get to sell his coins. Ends up with nothing instead of spreading them out over 900+ and make even more. Well done.
Of course we'll see a 500 sell now followed by panic sheep and we'll be back at 780 within the hour.

 Cheesy
Shit I better start panic selling

But why do you include bitcoin days destroyed.  How is that ever evidence that price will move up?

will we see 1500 by the weekend?
